Overall the plants were not so big. I was also given a wrong seed by Royal Queen Seeds, in fact the phenotype of one plant is completely different from the other 3. However, they produced a good amount of flowers in the small space I had, and for this I’m happy. The 3 plants that are hulkberry for sure are killers. They are definitely mainly sativa with a high that is mainly metal. The other plant, which unfortunately I’m not sure the type, is dominantly indica with a less mental impact.

I had a lot of fun growing this plants, and at the same time a lot of challenges to overcome. Things like nutrient deficiencies, maintaining environmental conditions optimal, and find the right compromise of nutrients dosage. It has definitely served me as a learning experience. I also wrote a diary with all the dosages of nutrients used on each feeding day, and my observations about the plants responses, it will be useful for next cycle. I will see you in the next cycle my growmie friends, and I wish you all a good Christmas πŸŒ±πŸŽ…πŸΎπŸŽ„πŸ’š

Hi there Fattorello, In coco, you only need to flush a maximum of one week, anything more than this will cause problems for your final product and your plant. Careful who you listen to my friend... Hope this helps ! πŸš€

Hello, I hope some more experience grower would be able to give me a good advice. I’m in week 9 and planning to harvest at the end of week 11. Do you think that defoliating my girls would be a good idea? Should I take all big fan leaves? πŸ€”

Hey there Fattorello, when you defoliate, for the plant it's a high stress technique, so what will happen if the plant will lose leafs? it will make more, but if it's in flower it wont make normal leafs only it will make leafs inside the buds. this will give you leafy buds . it's much better not to defoliate or do any HST during flower. Hope this helps ! πŸš€

Can I do partial harvesting of the flowers that are ready and leave the other to ripe on the plants for longer? If yes, how should I proceed with flushing the substrate with plain water? I need to get rid of the salts before harvesting, even if harvesting partially. Please help.

Hello Fattorello90 yes you can harvest partially and let the rest longer. You need to flush before this and for brake the salts you can use an additive like florakleen or enzyme+ etc... You use it one or two times and then just clean water. Good luck. Bye

Hey guys, can anyone tell me what is happening with this plant? It’s turning yellow with dark spots on some leaves. I gave the same quantity of nutrients as the other plants but she is having some deficiency for some reason. Any idea what nutrient it’s needing?

Hi there Fattorello, so basically in coco you always need NPK , calmag, and additives, right now you have NPK and additives, but no cal mag. When you have a heavy light schedule the plant needs more Mg. So that's why you're seeing Mg deficiency like the yellowing of the serrated edges of the leafs. So what you want to do is reduce your light schedule and add cal mag. if you do this the problem will stop spreading, it's pretty severe so it will take a full 10 days maybe more to fully recover. Hope this helps ! πŸš€

What are the environmental conditions for drying cannabis? Temperature, humidity, and how much light can I afford to have on the flowers? I have one of those hanging net to use, can I put it in my bedroom or any room in my house? I may still need my grow tent for the others.

A good cures goes for 7 plus days . You want to slow cure as long as possible can cure in your closet or cabinet or even a big cardboard box(I’ve used homdepot hanger moving box an worked great) so you can utilize your tent it just be smelly. Make sure to use your humidifier to get RH 55-65 me personally aim for 62% on 7-9 day dry. With a 6in fan for air movement but not directly at the buds or you will get uneven dry. On the light part very minimal direct light, can turn lights on to check out buds. If you decide to use the basket make sure you flip the buds half way through cure to avoid one sided flat bud. Happy growing an enjoy the harvest looks like some killer buds! πŸ€™

I like my conditions to be 20deg and about 50% rh. I try not to dry them to fast and make it take week. Also best off in a dark place.

Bro, I would not recommend defoliate autos at early flower stage especially at one go( I do it slowly starting from around week 8) and well done for trying coco. I fucked up 3 coco grows, I can't manage mineral fertilisers:) Apart from that u r doing great job with your first grow. Well doneπŸ‘βœŒοΈπŸ––πŸ‘ŠπŸŒ΄

Me personally I don't defoliate autos during veg. I LST , and than I can take few leaves off at any stage of veg, but max 1 or 2 at the time and only the one that covering my main grow sites. Basically same strategy during flower, only defoliating the leaves that are covering my buds underneath. Leaves are there for a purpose. βœŒοΈπŸŒ΄πŸ––

@smoking_hills9, thank you, I’m trying my best with these ladies, and thank you for the heads up. I will do it the next grow for sure. What do you think of defoliating twice? For instance, week 3 during vegetation, and than as you suggested about week 8 in flowering?

@Fattorello90, like i said you can defoliate 2 times if you have experience. 1 time during growth and 1 time in flowering. If it is the case do the first defoliation 1 or 2 weeks before flowering then for the second defoliation do it during week 3 of flowering. But if have no experience just do it one time in veg 1-2 week before flowering. Good luck. Bye

@SweetGrow, Thanks man, hope to have a good yield in the end. This is like my second time ever in 10 years, so I am still learning. The plants are quite small, not sure how much they will produce. Anyways, overall I am enjoying the process :-)

@CRiSPrGrow, thank you buddy. I have got a bottle of fulvic acid, so I will add that to plain water to flush the plants. I was hoping to flush them at the latest time possible, probably just before week 10 so that I can harvest at week 11. I’m waiting to receive a pocket microscope to check how tricomes look like, maybe I will get more insight about the readiness of the flowers with that tool. I will let you know 😊. Thank you for the good advices.

Hello you have nice plant but for the defoliation you need to do it earlier to have a good effect on your plant. 2 week before harvest is too short. It will stress your baby. Good luck

@Fattorello90, hello sorry to hear that. In general it is better to not defoliate auto because leaves are solar panels of your plant and it is important for photosynthese. When you defoliate do it one week before you pass it in flowering. I do it like this and i never have problems. Hope it helps you for the next time.
Fattorello90
Fattorello90commented3 years ago
@KushGANG, I was told that normally you don’t difiliate autos, I did a bit of defoliation around week 5 if I’m not mistaking. It stunned 3 if my girls 😩. When should I defoliate and how much should I take away?

I'm going to guess that your pH is closer to 7 . Plants get best nutrients uptake at pH 6 to 6.5 . I think that's looking like nutrients issue. I find about a teaspoon of cider vinegar per gallon of tap water that has declored by sitting for 24 hours gets my plants looking healthy and a nice dark green shade . At the end of flowering your girls look beautiful! I'm curious how the odd phenno tasted ? It's common to have a phenno that is indica looking in the bunch. It's the Ruderalis that is coming through. Breeders are not terribly honest with consistency of flavours or growing character. More like a fast frenzy of mixing genetics with out stabilizing the strain. Rather irresponsible method of breeding and very common.
