June 21: interesting how the tie down leads to the lower growth tips growing much faster. This is likely a reliable way to improve yield without stressing the plant very much. The response of this plant to the tie down is a bit of a revelation. I didn’t think these plants would do much with the cold weather start and potentially bad soil, but in the last month they’ve done great. Now using tie down method on some other autos where it looks equally impressive. Influenced by @Roberts and his auto tie downs using 12 gauge wire. Didn’t think this diary would be a contender for best outdoor grow, but now I think I better start posting weekly videos.

Not much do do this week. Training is mostly done. Don't really have anything to trim as was doing it as I went along. Just need to keep an eye on her. She's starting to flower but it looks like dimming the light affected the stretch. Day 37 - some mild defoliation Day 39 - looks like she's done with her stretch but hopefully she'll grow a bit more.

We planted this seed directly in the medium and in 2 days it has sprouted up fully. We are growing this in a 1 gallon pot alongside our other jack herer auto which is being grown in a 3 gallon pot.

Día 40 me ha dado carencias de calcio magnesio y posforo y potasio, me he dado cuenta un poco tarde... Las hojas estaban caídas y se me estaban poniendo amarillas con manchas marrones...les puse calmag y empezaron a buscar la luz ... También me di cuenta, que las Lili que no veía se me ponían las hojas moradas, creía que era exceso de nitrógeno, pero no era posforo y potasio... Así, que lo que no quería hacer, lo he hecho he metido a tope de nutrientes y más... Espero no liarla más...

(Days 28-35) (Day 29) Everything seems to have recovered fine from topping so I transplanted into their 1.7 gallon pots. They were pretty rootbound so this should make them nice and happy. Going to start LST after recovery. Got a ton of holes poked around the rim of the bucket which should make tying down easier. I’ve been asking around on some forums and reading some articles and I’ve decided to switch out my MH bulb for the included HPS bulb. Apparently HPS bulbs will stretch the nodes out quite a bit more and provide higher PAR value for the same amount of electricity. My plants are looking pretty small for day 29. Although, that could just be from stuffing 15 plants under one 250-400w light. I’ve been powering the lights up to 400w at night and back down to 250 during the day. 400 just gets it too hot during the day (86-88) without ventilation. That temperature should be fine in veg once my co2 has really built up some mycelium. (Day 32) Just got 14/15 topped. The BCTG runt is just going to be lst’d and not topped or fimmed. I decided to just fim the plants I started later so they’d have a bit more time to recover and catch up to the others. I also LST’d all 9 quite well. Almost had a stem break but she’s doing just fine now. The deformed bbb was accidentally fimmed and as a result it’s got a very trippy looking main stem that has branched off into 6 mains. I definitely have fungus gnats. Fuckers must have got in with that coco I bought from hydro store. This has never happened to me with just promix but the benefits of coco are too much to pass up. I might order an OG BioWar/capsbennies/grubgrenade to help naturally get rid of them. I’m getting some confirmed yellowing on bottoms of the zkittlez and WW’s. They must be heavy feeders because no other plant in the tent is getting yellow like that. I’m going to feed a compost tea, top dress everything at full strength and mulch in some worm castings to help break it down faster. Will also do a foliar spray with some insect frass, microbes and m1pps. (Day 33) Got some more of that marine phytoplankton stuff to help stabilize my RO water. It’s got a good amount of soluble magnesium and trade minerals in it so that should help stop the yellowing on the zkittlez and WW. (Day 34) Things are looking great so far and they’re all recovered from topping/transplant/lst and thriving. Some slight yellowing and a few of the plants are cupping from heat and high humidity. I just put in a dehumidifier to help bring the rh down. The m39/zkittlez bagseed plant is just outpacing everything in the tent by 4-6 days. No wonder organized crime used to grow it. I hear it can completely flower in 45 days with a solid yield and very little trimming or leaf matter. It’s very weak on the high and smell though. Nonetheless it should be nostalgic to try those old terps. There is still a small chance that it’s a super vigorous zkittlez plant too. Plants should be showing sex this coming week. Hoping for 8+ fems but I can make do with just 4. 1-3 is unlikely but that would piss me off beyond belief. I’ve heard of it happening though.

She looks very healthy and beautiful. It was raining two days ago, so I decided to pour her some of that rain. As I said above, all I use is water and I give her light 24/7.

This strain just looks and smells amazing. I have a feeling that this is Iced Gushers or another similar strain. The reason I say that is because she smells just like a bag of gushers 👌 She’s looking about ready to harvest so I’m going to keep a close eye on her throughout the week. Roc Bud definitely killed it with this stain!

Now she looks like she´s in flower. She did a big stretch. Looking good. Love how huge she is, compared to my first run which was Auto. Mr. Pipi is excited to see some Colas. Let´s go. Day 74: Its gettin Schmelly

Day 141 10/06/25 Tuesday Harvested the Orange Apricot Glue XL today! This run of autos I haven't done any dark period before harvest except, I managed to catch them just as lights were coming on. She has performed amazingly in consideration that she was only in a 2.5L pot. In hindsight, I now know I am able to do a SOG with small auto pots. Making for an exciting next run. Upon harvesting the OAG XL, The pungent smell of citrus, diesel and fruity twists is intoxicating. The buds are dense and compact, with formed calyx's boasting with trichomes. Wet weight on this was 427g of buds. (All wet trim gets dried in hangers and used for making butter later) To my suprise a super easer one to trim as she was mainly buds and fan leaves. She is now hanging drying in a 80x80 tent , with a small fan on low @ netted window entrance, facing down to circulate air from bottom to top. An exhausting fan with carbon filter also runs 2x a day for 1 hour. This lasted for 8days before humidity dropped to 49%. I have now put into containers to allow inner moisture to pull through now. After 3-4 more days she will have final trim and placed into Terp Loc Grove Bags to cure. Once curing I shall do a smoke report, dry bud weight, and update journal. Hello people week # 9 is at the start, unfortunately I can not get the humidity below 40% but we always stay in the 40s, this is accompanied by a temperature of max 26c. The buds are in production, you can clearly see a difference from last week. This strain is a late bloomer. The harvest is still difficult to estimate when that will be. I fertilize them as on the BioBizz plan until week 10 and I rinse them for another 2 weeks. A little tip: if you turn the pots 1/4 circle every day, this simulates different wind directions. The plant reacts differently to it than when it stands still in a place for 10 weeks. As already mentioned, my rules for autoflowering are: LESS IS SOMETIMES MORE. This helps beginners to take their time to study the plant. To understand the stages of development. Mastering the harvest is only possible through experience. Thanks for your time and for reading.
