So the growth cycle was around the 12-23 week gap! Very nice strain to go,! Its a stain that doesn't get to big in my opinion so it's a good stealth grow. Bud to leaf ratio is excellent which makes it a breeze to trim. Overall awesome strain smells amazing. Makes u very lazy so it's more of a night strain

This week was good, stopped feeding nutes, ro water only, the buds are so solid, nice and thick. Didn’t think this was going to be so big, the 16”x16” fits the growbed perfect, it the plant is a little cramped, a 24”x24” would be perfect, as the branches would be able to droop more and allow more light to some lower growth. However after this I’m using these tents to do smaller scrog plants, which are photos. And I’ll do the auto-flowers in a more open environment.

Started the week off by swapping the girls tent for my tiny 2x2x4 and they loved the environment. Such a small space, so easy to maintain. Increased the nutrients to about 1/4 the recommended dose from Advanced Nutrients, and also increased the water to a little over 1 cup by the end of the week, the girls responded great, and perked right up. I didn’t dial up the light this week as they were in a much smaller tent, but will be moving them to my big tent , while also transplanting n the very near future. I like to move up to 2 gallon pots for the 1 transplant, then move into their final 4 or 5 gallon pot around week 6 or 7, just in time for them to settle in before flipping to flower. Unfortunately ive managed to overwater my young plants when experimenting with a new substrate. They looked really droopy with grey edges and yellowing already, so i decided to restart this post for a second try germinating directly into my living soil, like im used to do it. 📆 [23rd of August] Ive put the 2 remaining seeds directly into my homemade living soil. Exactly 72 hours later, on the 26th, one has popped up and showed their germination leafs. I am planning to repot the plants into their "real" home after about 14 days of vegetation. That is gonna consist of 2 substrate levels in a 40l container. The bottom 2/3 is going to be a mix of peat, pumice, sand & vermiculite, the top third is gonna be a layer of my homemade living soil, which is made of 1/3 peat, 1/3 compost and 1/3 pumice 4-12mm & Spelt Husk 50%/50% (measured by volume) amended with kelp meal, sproutet bean meal, basalt rock dust, microbial mushroom biomass (chitin), oyster grit, gypsum, charcoal, bentonite and tiny amounts of bone meal & horn meal. It is my first time growing in a (partly) nutrient poor substrate. I want to do some kind of Experiment this time, as i have not seen many growers use "hydroponic" /nutrient poor substrate paired with the "living soil" approach & organic feeding. I'm trying to boost the growth by providing plenty of oxygen and water like hydroponics does, without needing to use those mineral salt based fertilizers or frequently having to discard "old" substrate. In my mind this idea would work similar to an "Autopot" system, where you prodive water and oxygen mainly in the bottom with some small amounts of nutrients, but feed mainly from the top by amending. Ive seen this in the "Build a soil" youtube channel. I've set their homes up already a couple weeks ago and moistened it to let it cook together, so the living organisms could colonize the bottom subtrate before transplanting. (Edit: Change of plans, those "homes" are gonna go to my Red Hot Cookies instead, ive just transplanted her right into an 8l pot to become a mother. Its made the same way, without the cooking together in prior part.) The plants are going to be fed purely organic/natural material by top dressing with different amendments like fish hydrolysate, basalt, kelp, gypsum, guano and this "living soil - grow" fertilizer i've showed in the pictures. Furthermore i am going to be using homemade nutrient ferments on cannabis for the first time. Ive already tested those on roses, tomatoes and some houseplants. (made from fish, insect, kelp, aloe vera, guano, kitchen scraps, plants etc). My goal is to additionally boost the plant growth by watering these quickly available nutrients. It should contain all the essential minerals plants need, as well as phytohormones, amino acids, vitamins, humic and fulvic acid, beneficial bacteria and fungi. Stay hyped with me! [Edit Week 4] I am not as happy with the results as ive expected it. The plants are looking pretty fine and growing nicely, but i dont see any benefit compared to pure living soil yet. It almost seems like the plant is growing a little bit slower than usual and just needs to be fed more with this method, i dont see any "hydro like" boost happening... Maybe i needed to fertigate her more often and topdress more, i didnt want to try out too much though as i want to keep this plant as a mother. I dont have much time to do experiments with clones, so im probably just going to go for it as planned and hope that they will like the system in the big 40l pots. Probably going to amend the soil heavier then by topdressing more and fertilize with every watering later in veg - until mid/late flower.

I cannot say what is going wrong with Elsa an my grow. I give her water every day hothing more, because she live in living soil. But you can see on the Picture… every day she looks more and more destroy. But on day 71 were i thought to end this grow with Elsa you can see that she fight… and I will fight to for her. The grow went in week 11 …

The beginning of week 5! I think we are going into flower this week, signs are there. 7/22 (Day 35) - Started off week 5 with the most LST and Defoliation I have done and I was nervous. They needed it though, I was getting worried about mold and airflow through these bushy ladies, so I did my best and kinda followed my instinct. I did watch and read a ton of videos and articles and tried to put what I learned to use. I think these ladies are about to go into flower as well, started noticing the white pistols and where potential bud sites are going to be so I did my best to make those available to light and as even as possible. Will be letting them rest for a few days and reassess then. Everything continues to stay in check and the new dehumidifier worked awesome last night keeping the humidity in check. 7/23 (Day 36)- Didnt get any pictures this day. Pretty normal day, they drank 2 gallons and just continue to grow. I feel like they are just growing like crazy still and I think im starting to see them start stretching a bit more. 7/24 (Day 37)- Did the res change this morning, they are definitely starting to stretch and the bud sites seem to becoming more obvious. I went with more Veg neats after doing some reading, I may switch to bloom next week depending on how they are stretching. They fully recovered from the LST and defoliation two days ago. I decided to do a bit more today and focus on opening up light to sites that need them. Everything gets covered up so fast and I am having to defoliate a bit almost every other day it seems. 7/25 (Day 38)- Everytime I defoliate and do some LST they seem to bounce back so fast like next day. I did a bit more with the front left plant, she is lagging behind the others a bit, but that one has always seemed to be the runt. They are starting to form buds, especially back left plant which seems to have taken off a bit faster than the others. They are drinking almost 3 gallons a day! Everything continues to stay in check. I am debating if I should try scrogging or not, or just continue to LST and defoliate. Any input is welcome! 7/26 (Day 39) - Just kind of checked in on them and topped up the res today, Everything looks nice and healthy, all conditions are staying consistent and everyone is looking healthy. 7/27 (Day 40)- Did quite a bit of defoliation this morning. They needed it badly, a lot of the light was not getting through to under the canopy. Going to just keep an eye on them and see how they recover the next few days. Grüßt euch, liebe Grow-Community! Zur 8. Woche / Blütewoche 5 dieses betreuten Grow-Projekts. Und auch hier wieder am Start nach einem kleineren Delay. Kurze Erklärung: Ich war im Urlaub und hatte in dieser Zeit nicht so den Zugriff auf die Jungs. Daraus resultiert das pure Chaos. Aber jetzt ist Papa ja wieder da und somit weht hier jetzt wieder ein anderer Wind!😁 Also Sachen gepackt und zu einer Spontanvisite vorbeigeschaut….😏 Erster Punkt auf der Agenda: Einen der beiden Strolche losschicken, um destilliertes Wasser für den Luftbefeuchter zu holen. Danach wurden die Kleinen ausgeputzt, sprich das ganze vergilbte Laub entfernt, damit man den Grow euch auch wieder vorzeigen kann – und ich mir ein besseres Bild von der Situation machen kann. Und als alter Glas-halb-leer-Pessimist ist mir natürlich direkt erstmal die Vergilbung an den jungen Blättern der Orange-Diesel-Ladys aufgefallen. Ob diese nun auf die stümperhafte Behandlung des VPDs zurückzuführen ist oder wir hier einfach einen klassischen Mangel haben, lässt sich ohne nähere Analyse (Runoff messen etc.) nicht genau ermitteln. Da ich pauschal erstmal von Zweiterem ausgehe, da speziell die Diesel-Damen deutlich mehr Biomasse aufgebaut haben und damit einen höheren Grundverbrauch haben, bin ich nach dem Besuch erstmal wieder zu mir gegurkt, um etwas von meinem noch übrig gebliebenen Living Soil einzupacken. Da ich in dieser Phase keinen Dünger mehr verabreichen will, weil das zeitlich einfach nicht mehr hinhaut, möchte ich wenigstens noch ein wenig Erde verabreichen, in welcher die Nährstoffe während der Lagerung bereits durch die Mikroorganismen teilweise pflanzenverfügbar gemacht wurden. Das sollte uns noch etwas Puffer verschaffen.😅 Nach Abklingen meines kleinen Rappels haben meine Augen dann aber doch noch einen Lichtblick vernommen… Wir haben hier mal wieder einen Underdog-Moment, liebe Grow-Community!! Die vorher schon etwas abgeschriebene Mephisto’s Wedding hat sich wirklich zu einem Augen- und Terpschmaus entwickelt. Wirklich ein phänomenaler Repräsentant der Elterngenetik. Sie verbindet den Frost sowie die Färbung der Wedding Cake mit funky Chem-Einflüssen, welche sich auch in der Optik wiederfinden. Wirklich sehr spannend!!😍 Hiervon werde ich mich doch gerne mal auf eine Kostprobe einladen lassen... Da trifft es sich doch auch sehr gut, dass sie augenscheinlich als Erste fertig wird. Als Zeichen meiner Anerkennung habe ich den Jungs fix noch einen Flower-Komposttee angesetzt, welchen es dann morgen gibt. Sooo Leute, genug geredet. Long story short: Wir sind wieder on track und bewegen uns mit leichten Schwierigkeiten Richtung Finish!! 💪Bleibt also gespannt. Peace!

Our Zamnesia Test #3 has reached the small 16 branches that will one day be buds. I'm growing them a little more to make sure they don't go into flowering with small brunches but we're almost there, a few days and they will go into flowering. It's a plant with a low internodal distance, they are not the most suitable for topping due to the slow response of the mini brunches but just let them grow a little and not go into flowering immediately to still get an excellent result. As a general but very general rule, plants with a low internodal distance are less suitable for the application of techniques unlike plants with a wide internodal distance that are very easy to manage, they grow more slowly and can reach excellent sizes even if worked with techniques that keep them short. The topping worked very very well the plant at the time of topping went slightly into overfertilization due to the evident slowdown in growth, so I slowed down the fertilization for growth but without making it go into crisis we are starting to give fertilizer again. When topping is a delicate moment it is probably better to do what I explain below with this plant I managed to keep myself more balanced the others for a week were quite evident. The ideal when topping repeatedly is probably to start with a slow-release fertilized soil or even start preparing the soil for a period that is at least sufficient for the vegetative phase at most adding a little alga grow which alone I must admit gives me some problems at least in this case if the plant grows straight much less indeed nothing. Meanwhile, our flowering cycle continues. In just one week, the plants have changed noticeably and are developing exactly as expected.

the plant keeps swelling at a slow pace. looks bigger every day and smells stronger

The plant is doing really well. We are progressing at a normal pace. There isn't much else to report this week. These weeks are always slow and pretty boring. I'm just keeping the medium sufficiently watered. Here is what I did this week. 12.9.25: I watered with 1.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with; 💜 1ml Trace 💜 1ml Flourish PH: 6.4 PPM: 318 16.9.25: I watered with 1L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 1ml Trace 💜 1ml Flourish PH: 6.5 PPM: 308 The fungus gnats have really incresed since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. Die letzte Woche lief ohne Störung und Probleme, wahrscheinlich hätte man noch 5 bis 10 Tage warten können für 20% Bernstein, aber das ist eh nicht unser Ziel. Jedoch sind 74 Blüte Tage für ein Fast Flower schon ordentlich. Es sei aber bemerkt das auch die Frühe Ernte schon gut schmeckt, jedoch ist die Buddichte der frühen Ernte nicht mit dem Aktuellen Zustand vergleichbar. Also warten lohnt sich, wie immer! Gesamt Gewicht Nass 750g ungetrimmt mit Stängel ohne Stamm.

Weekly update on these couple. One got the chop for some fresh frozen bubble wash and these two still have another week for the one and only a couple days for the other. They smell like a bakery and are covered in frost. All in in an easy one to grow and produces amazing flowers and yields.

Another week gone by. I am going to need to trellis these girls next week and move them to their final resting place about 30 yards over. It's a little bit more of a sunny spot and it will allow them to get about about 2 hrs of sunlight come autumn. Last year I noticed some trees that blocked the sun as it dropped closer to the horizon, so we are going to avoid that...or Ill just chop down the couple trees blocking the sun Plants are looking great! They're doubling in size every week about The grandpas stash r2's are thickkkkk They smell very similar to my hash plant bx1. Skunky, hashy, spicey The og kush bxf2 all over the place in terms of smell. My favorite have to be the grapefruit one I found. It's so goddamn citrusy kinda crazy....others I would say are more piney The lemon Berry's are what ever. Not my fav by who knows what will happen in the next month. Sativas always look sickly to me so I'm very biased
