i accidently bought some unbuffered coco and mixed it with my ussual earth, had major calmag problems in mid-flower but i´m still pleased with the results...also had a little trouble with mold at the end due to bad weather and high humidity in the final weeks of the grow, had to remove a few buds and harvest early @ day 55 of flower....but there's still alot of great looking buds left for me to enjoy and all look mostly done... Just harvested and hung them upside down, currently drying them at constant 19.5-20.5°C and 50-60% RH..will update as soon as they are dry

Welcome to week 10 of my Strawberry Cheesecake diary by seedsman, grown by me, Ctrellis90. So as you can see she's almost done! So that's pretty exciting! I had to get down and scrape out her top layer of soil last week because of some moisture problems in the soil but I think everything is fine for her last week in earth. The trichomes are almost right where I want them so that's all I'm doing now is waiting for those bad boys to turn so I can chop this pretty lady down. It was a lot of fun growing her, so much so that I had to out another one in the ground lol. This time in coots mix from BAS. Hopefully she doesn't burnt up....I've had that happen before when I mixed the soil wrong. Anyways I did give her just a little more Gaia all purpose for her last week just incase she has some more flower to put on for me. Well thanks for stopping by and next time you see this girl, she'll be hanging upside down!

In general i am very satisfied considering the biggest problem i had which was the heat during all the growing period. I also had a power cut which stressed the plant very much to the point it stopped growing for a few days ( the most critical days 😡 😤 ) and developed 3 finger leaves. Despite the heat the buds are very frosty, they have a very strong smell like fruits and diesel and the density is decent. The buds dried for 9 days at 22 °C and 60% RH and now are placed at PP tapers with boveda envelops to cure. Smoke report at 2-3 weeks.

I trusted F1 from the first moment, my old school grower friends talk a lot about only marketing etc. but here i see the very genetic good job by RQS. This work is fundamental because with the wave of American super strains, the Europeans, for the most part, have tended to import cuttings and cross-breed genetics with them trying to create something that uses American research but to be honest, confusing the waters a bit. . This work takes us back to the crossroads and the result can be seen. Very stable although there are two phenomena the rest is very similar and quite superior to the average autoflowering. Let's go beyond the average with genetic guarantees, I would say, good job. If you think we don't go beyond the average, look at these plants and look at the average, I don't know what more to tell you. Started the journey with a Mephisto's wedding, and Fantasmo express. Hoping the difference in heights is not too drastic. Plan is to press these plants once harvested. For now, they are little, but barring not having a diffuser for the photo e app, I trust that the environment is on the right track. Finally reaching a year of growing with this one so I'ma focus on the root zone. That's where I usually fall short, but not these. The Meph lab will create monsters after Halloween!

Well that was a special day, it always make me sad in a way, but this time, I enjoyed the moment a lot. As I wrote in a reply to a comment, things can always be better, and they are with good decisions at the right time. These are the smallest and the biggesr plant, one seed didn't germenated and that's why I had to put a Red Gorilla. Not sure I will try a main mlinning on auto flowering strains any more.... but I think I did it wrong, first I took the one that seemed less strong for the experiment, and having 2 other plants to compete for lights. FIM is definetly a technique I will reuse if needed. It's so nice to have these genetic contrasts, colors, aromas, shapes. Many thanks for all the help you gave, precious. 19/04/2024 lower popcorn buds seems dried already! But still branches don't crack on bends. Will check again on Monday. I finally have received, lately a portable microscope, will be more ususeful next year! But this confirms that lower buds might have need more maturity but did the choice to not over complicate by harvesting in 2 times, my indoor tent is also my drying tent, and I wouldn't have any other place to dry the upper buds separetly while allowing the remaining to harvvest with more maturity. In general I think I might have began the Final part too early. BTW, we smoked the popcorn bud, and it's very promissing, we liked it.

Week 10

They really start Putting Up some weight. And it starts to smell very fruity and sweet. The AK47 really produces a Lot IT Looks Like. I really Like The smell of her, dont Like The Look to much so far tho. Overall im Happy so far. I think The trich Beast might become very beatiful in The next few weeks.

I hung all the branches upside down in the closet. Thanks to the help of an air conditioner I keep the temperature at 23C and the humidity at 50%. When after a bending the branches will break (prematurely bend) then the drying will be complete and the tanning phase will begin. Initially I had problems with Ca and Mg deficiency, in fact the plant has grown less than the other, but I am still satisfied with the result. I usually don't weight buds when they are wet because it's just a waste of time. When they are dry I will update the diary with the precise weight. PS the same day I harvested my country rejected the decriminalization of cultivation of weed (referendum of popular origin). Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Definitely Will grow Again

viel hat sich nicht mehr getan seit dem letzten eintrag. so richtig bernsteinig wollten die trichome nicht werden obwohl ich den pflanzen zwei wochen mehr zeit als geplant eingeräumt habe. zum trocknen hab ich die nur grob getrimmt. die feinarbeit kommt nach dem trocknen. da im zelt noch die white truffle stehen hängen die freaks erstmal im schrank. die bedingungen zum trocknen sind wetterbedingt gerade sehr schlecht. bei 70% raumluftfeuchtigkeit wird so schnell nix trocknen. vielleicht wird es ja doch noch sommer in den nächsten tagen.

Messed up on the days last weeks update. 23 days old today. The mutant is still OK. Planted most of the vegetables outside today with the wife👌. Everything is still looking healthy 👍🤘

Running into some deficiencies, don’t think it’s any pests but if you have any recommendations what it is plz let me know. Already fed a compost tea looks like it fixed the problem. Could be PH haven’t tested the soil yet.
