Week 5 (Day 35) Flower- the week was uneventful. Building stacks, no issues, it’s been rainy here so the humidity has been high, the old dehumidifier is getting a workout 💪 I lowered the light an inch, might not seem like much, but I’ll watch and see if they can handle it. Full feed of nutrients tomorrow when the lights come on😎

First off, the Runtz is looking very healthy and strong atm. During the last week, she first got transplanted into this bigger 10l fabric pot. I planted her out in Plagron Lightmix in the beginning off the week. Two days later I topped of her main branch, from which she too seems to be recovered allready. Halfway the week I started giving her the bloom, root and zym nutrients. I water her every morning and every evening by hand.

Everything's going great. One more week of flushing and I finally get to harvest not experienced at all so I'll be reading up on it alot and any tips would be nice

I just moved the mimosa inside a little growbox i bought 40x40x120 with a mes hydro 600. Let’s see!

Week 4 and buds are beginning to fatten up nicely, I’ve changed the position of the gelato and one of the Zkittles to improve light penetration into the canopy as the leaves have began to defoliate themselves from the plants. This being said all plants are looking green and healthy and show minimum environment stress. Hopefully this change in the canopy will allow each of the strains to grow to their full potential with the limited space that I have.

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Next up will be a couple autos on RDWC before the summer outdoor season (and a significant indoor upgrade) is upon us. Still drying in my wardrobe on hangers with a rotating fan and a mini dehumidifier. Harvested when the dirt were really dry. Splitted the stems to dry correctly.

The autos stems are really thickening up this week and have started to really expand the leaf size. probably good to note that 3 of the dosi-do autos are as wide as the 5 gallon fabric pots now and only on the 3rd set of leaf's. the Goat'lato has the most impressive starter leaf ive seen in a while also just being so wide and ridged. I added a 1500 watt ceramic heater to the grow room since temps are decreasing every night here in the pnw. the plants have seemed to really respond well and started drinking faster. on 10/30 i gave them a small dose of fish & kelp ph'ed to 6.0 I am adding a picture of the soil recipe i am using for these autos as i would like to openly share any knowledge i'm able to. feel free to use it as is or tweak it any way you see fit. so far its been an amazing start but only time will tell how it does throughout flower. i do plan on top dressing with gaia green bloom feed around week 2 of flower also. dates range 10/24 - 10/31

Dernière semaine de croissance. Changement de solution fait le dimanche 22/11 car le ph commençait à descendre en dessous de 6.2 et cela faisait 1 semaine que j'avais fais le précèdent changement. Le PH lors du changement était de 6,8. Il est monté jusqu'à 7.5 mais je laisse le filtre faire son oeuvre. Il est actuellement à 7.1 et continue de descendre naturellement. carence en fer. Ajout d'une dose supplémentaire de Sensi CalMg Edit au 25 : Malheureusement ce que je sentais venir est arrivé, saturation en N. Le Ph et l'EC continuaient de baisser tous les deux. Les parties basses des plantes étant sombre et ayant une carence en fer sur la partie haute (puisque élément mobile), j'en ai déduit que c'était une carence en fer induite par une surfertilisation en N. J'étais à un EC de 1, je suis revenu à 0,8 le mardi 25 au soir. La bioponie est très capricieuse au niveau de l'azote. Le mercredi 26 le ph remonte ce qui signifie qu'on a stopé le processus de dégradation du N. Je devrais changer la solution mais je dois passer bientôt en flo donc j'ai enlevé de l'eau et rajouter, histoire de tenir jusqu'au prochain changement de solution qui est prévu samedi sauf si la situation dégénere de nouveau avec le PH. Last week of growth. Change of solution made on sunday 22/11 because the ph was starting to drop below 6.2 and it's been 1 week since I made the previous change. The PH at the time of the change was 6.8. It went up to 7.5 but I let the filter do its job. It is currently at 7.1 and continues to drop naturally. iron deficiency. Addition of an extra dose of Sensi CalMg Last update : Unfortunately what I felt was coming has happened, N saturation. Ph and EC both continued to drop. As the lower parts of the plants were dark and iron deficient (on top because is mobil nutrient), I deduced that it was an iron deficiency induced by N overfertilization. I was at an EC of 1, I came back to 0.8 on Tuesday evening the 25th. Biopony is very capricious in terms of nitrogen. On Wednesday the 26th the ph goes up which means that we stopped the N degradation process. I should change the solution but I have to float soon so I removed some water and added more, to hold until the next change of solution which is planned for Saturday unless the situation degenerates again with the PH. Had a good week, the plant got pressed against the side of my tent a bit, going to do some LST to spread the canopy back out.

12/31: They are both coming along nicely.👍 Today was the first day in which I fed them some Big Bloom and Boomerang along with humic acid, pH'd to 6.1. 1/3: I've been letting them dry out a bit for the last two days. They've got roots coming out the bottoms now...I'll probably transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots tomorrow or the next day. I ordered a 4' 180w tube light with 578 LEDs..it has a 360 degree beam with 3000k and a bunch of 660nm. It's waterproof, so no worries about keeping it beneath my canopy to illuminate the lower branches and hopefully increase the density of those buds that never get much top-lighting. Today, I mounted my two new 24w UVA LED lights (395-405nm) to my frame. I'll run them 6 hours a day from the time I put the plants into my closet, until harvest. It is my understanding that exposure to UVA, particularly during the vegetative stage, triggers many different plant defense hormones, which speed growth and can increase heartiness to withstand constant exposure to UVB without suffering as much cellular damage as usual. I'm also ordering a 2' Solacure FlowerPower UVB (285nm-310nm) next week to use during flowering to stress the plants and increase trichome production. 1/4: I foliar fed them with big bloom and fulvic acid a few times today and gave them about 4 ounces to drink. 1/5: Transplanting day. I dusted their roots with magic dust and transplanted them into 5 gallon pots today. I had some excellent compost with biochar and myco that I mixed into their soil, too. I watered them in with about 2 quarts of their first taste of full strength veg nutes, plus mycorrhizal fungi, trichoderma, beneficial bacteria, and humic acid, then I sprayed them with biotabs boomboom spray when finished. The were moved into the closet under the quantum boards, UVA's, and a pair of MiracleLED blue bulbs. I'll start adding far-red spectra to the equation in the next few days.

Woche 4 Die Laughing Buddha entwickelt sich weiterhin stabil und kompakt. Sattes Grün, gesunde Blattstruktur und ein schöner, gleichmäßiger Wuchs. Ich lasse sie aktuell bewusst in Ruhe wachsen, damit sie Kraft für die nächsten Schritte sammelt. Toppen ist in etwa 8–10 Tagen geplant – danach wird strukturiert trainiert. Wasser gibt’s weiterhin kontrolliert im Ring, sobald der Topf deutlich leichter wird.
