hello plant lovers this week as I already expected there was a bomb growth. its full flowering has just started, I inverted the lights by placing the 300w further down the grow, gaining more space for the 100w module that I placed in front of it, the plants held water well even though now I have 30watt input plus 15w under the mokum tulip in last week's defoliation tidied up the grow room and now the stems are struggling to get their light I'm still at 18 out of 24 but I think I'll increase every few days and give full power to 24 hours I'll wait another four days before turning up the lights these little girls are still hungry to grow and the main led satisfies placed higher up is satisfying everyone today I removed a few leaves the space has now become a real jungle but whatever happens I'm happy of the LST results the smell is still very low I hope they don't explode but I already know that something will happen this week in this case I will be ready to tie the tips to the structure of the grow. good continue a kiss

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Week 4: Day 21 The stretch is finally over and the ladies have been successfully defoliated. All energy is now being put into trichome production and sensing up. Even the larger fan leaves are developing trichomes. Golden adding more nutrients to the soil - Bat guano at 15ml per liter of soil. Harvest is getting closer by the day.

God's Vagina seedling seems to have finally established its roots and begun to thrive. The clone was yellowing I belive from being root bound. She was transplanted today 04/27. End of the week update! 05/03/2020 God's Vagina was topped at the 5th node yesterday(05/02) First time ever topping but she seems to be recovering nicely. Will begin with low stress training on the clone soon in an attempt to keep both plants at roughly the same height. Yellowing on the clone is nearly all gone. Planning on keeping them in veg for another 6 weeks.

DAY 14 F: Hi all. I hope we are all coping and navigating this tumultuous time in the "other world" . It has been a really good week for the ladies this week and even the little chica has improved slightly from her attempted poisoning by hands yet unknown ????. Lol They have all been really productive in their stretch periods and i had to move the fc3000 up a fair bit to stop them reaching the panel. I want to avoid any supercropping to use the plants natural structures on this final auto run. The tip spreading has been effective at stopping them over growing the height restriction and has now used the stretch period to space all the budsites into good positions for light and air movement. I want to also avoid having to remove any of the powerhouse fan leaves that are going to help convert and store all those sugars and goodies for the bud development soon. Inwill tet to keep them from light blocking lower leaves and growth by tucking them away where I can. They are around 2ft in height with the Strawberry Pie being the taller of the 3 strains. All have fairly long node gaps whichb had hoped to avoid so they would stack the buds rather than grow in small clusters but I know from previously growing them all that they make some very nice harvested and cured nugs. I am still only feeding water but will be doing another tea of biosys and a top dressing of life-cycle too this week to give the biosphere a hand and the girls a boost from that. The light is really doing them justice with plenty of deep penetration to the soil bed in places too. There are no signs of hot spots or too much intensity so far so an even spread of those light ranges has fed them perfectly. With the convenience of the soil beds , In the tent I have from Mars being the perfect size for this light , it could be a match made in heaven for the upcoming photoperiod run with the FC3000 too. Just need to find a way to hang the tent with my horrible apex roof first..... lol With Bud Porn on order for next weeks update , I bid you all farewell or as we say in the UK, "tatty bye for now" growmies.
