Weather is getting a bit better this week. Almost no rain anymore and much more sun comparing to last week. Blueberry Ghost OG and Kali AK still don't want to start flowering, but they slowed down from growing taller at least, so there are hope of they to start flowering soon (hopefully).

This is exactly the 🇲🇦 morroccan 🇲🇦 way of sifting resin from kief. Traditionally, apart the hand rubbing method, dry sifting through a mesh is the most used way to obtain resin, from 🇦🇫 Afghanistan 🇦🇫 or 🇳🇵Nepalese 🇳🇵 Mountains to 🇲🇦 Morocc 🇲🇦 Rif passing through Bekaa valley in 🇱🇧Lebanon 🇱🇧. The average size of meshes used vary from 90 to 180 microns and are mostly made by silk and for this reason uneven. I think the most productive ways to sift are Dry Ice and  rotating pollinator + CO2, I've tried a DIY pollinator built by a friend and it can reach up to 20/25% of resin extracted at 120 microns and 15% at 90 microns. But smell and taste don't reach that traditionally extracted but this is another story. Morroccan way is good compromise between a stashbox or more evolute methods. It requires less than 10 dollar of expenses. Our Tangie is proving to be an extraordinary ninja superstar! Last week, we embarked on an exciting transplant adventure. Our fearless Tangie had outgrown her previous home, so we bravely transferred her to a spacious 25-liter fabric pot. With the assistance of Aptus Holland Mycor Mix, we ensured a smooth transition, providing her with beneficial mycorrhizal fungi. These underground helpers are like her very own ninja squad, supporting her root system and establishing a strong foundation. To continue supporting her growth and development, we incorporated the incredible Aptus All-in-One Pellets into the soil. Vigorous Males, Strong Clones, and Bud Formation This week was full of action in the grow! Two out of the three males are in full bloom, and I’m actively collecting pollen. They are impressive plants, with strong structures and large pollen sacs. If everything stays on track, I believe the females will be ready for pollination in about a week. Observations: All 18 clones have successfully rooted! Some have already entered the vegetative stage and are receiving supplemental light at nightfall to keep their growth steady. The plants responded very well to the light defoliation I did earlier. Now, the buds are starting to take shape, showing great progress in the flowering phase. To optimize this stage, I spaced out the pots, ensuring better airflow and increased light penetration, which should support full and healthy flowering. This week, I plan to top off the pots with more substrate, ensuring the plants have enough space and nutrients to reach their full potential. Next Steps: Keep monitoring the males and collecting pollen at the right time. Watch the females closely to determine the ideal moment for planned pollinations. Observe the clones' growth and adjust care as needed. The grow is on the right track, and expectations for the coming days are high!

This week has been important for getting some of the pinning done and setting her up for the stretch,,,being limited for space in the 2x2,,and changing her usual Christmas tree style of growth,,im hoping to create a canopy that flowers evenly,,without one main leader,,but all branches have the chance to be the leader,,and produce flower evenly across the canopy,,!! Once the pinning is done ,,she can go wild,,😁

Rainbow Melon is a total superstar! It's easily the biggest plant in the whole tent. I find it really interesting how the leaves get all droopy in the morning, then perk right back up in the afternoon. It's like it has its own internal clock. I'm curious to see if this pattern continues as it grows. Last week was awesome! I finally got around to giving all my plants a little upgrade – I repotted them into some bigger homes. They're all looking so happy and healthy now, it's crazy. I can't wait to see how much they grow this year!

Day 53 has broken for the ladies, and I am very pleased with their progress. The buds are visibly getting stronger every day. A few brown leaf tips appeared, but at this stage I don’t care much for them. Overall, they still look very much alive. Day 57: Uppermost leaves are curling up. Could be they are saturated with light and I should reduce the lighting period a bit, could be that the water drop installment provided them with a bit too much water, although they don’t show any more fresh signs of over-watering or fertilisation. But I had to remove water that flooded the bottom of the tank … I’ll reduce their lighting period to 14 hours. Rest of the ladies looks very healthy so I don’t want to stress them too much. It would be better to raise the left light a bit but I cannot. So, although the label says they would grow taller, I can be glad they did not gain more height. Day 58: Buds are really getting massive, and they started to smell a bit more. They even gained 1 cm and tallest bud is now at 89. It’s a very sweet but deep odour, really enjoyable. Lady #2, while being a bit smaller, looks like being in winter. Sugar leaves are enormous on her. I added a detail photo from timelapse video showing some of the curled and slightly burnt leaves. They are not many, and damage does not seem to progress. Anyway, ladies are already late in the game and I am rather surprised they still look very healthy.

My 2 autos are starting to grow rapidly finally this week after being transferred to the garden in their 2nd and 4th week of veg respectively. The 2 seeds I've started from seed. I have no clue what strain they are or if they're even female. We shall see.

Week 10, 8-14 July 2024 8-14 July - Observed and let the plant grow. 9 July - Did a light defoliation of older leaves. Pablo continues to stack and swell in bud growth. I’m impressed with just how big her buds are getting. Devine Seeds has some really good genetics here, and she still has about 5 more weeks to go. Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.
