The biggest auto I’ve grown to date! Had to tie up a few branches to keep them from falling over, looks like I’ve got a couple more to tie up! This girl would have been perfect for a scrog if I had any idea she’d get this big. Pretty sure the curling of the leaves towards the top of the plant is either from my fan being too close or from heat (or maybe both). It’s been a hot summer! Doing my best to keep her healthy 💚💚

This week i transplanted the plants in 1.2 gallon pots and did some minor defoliation, They're kinda stressed but next update they will look better than ever!

All in all it was a great grow, alot of challenges alot the way but Im glad i stuck it out because It was 100% worth it in the long run. Buds are a very dark purple, full of trichomes, really special to look at with your own eyes, unfortunately my phone camera doesnt quite catch the beauty. Straight from drying and the buds taste amazing with their own unique taste and smell. I cant wait to see what its like after a 2 week cure! I reccomend growing this strain.

Showing flower sites, did some defloiation, aroma increased

D-56 : The girls are great, beautyful and starting to stretch fast. No deficiency, no watering or feeding trouble, the temperature is a bit high but this variety are really comfortable with temperatures between 27 and 30°C, so I maintain it around 27-29°c during the day time. The horizontal space is fully occupied already. But, I guess the Desfrans are growing vertically now. However, I'll continue to reasonably defoliate to let light and fresh air go through the canopy. As I start the second flowering week, the flowers should apear... can't wait to see the first ones !

Gorilla cookies is extremely easy to grow, it does good all on its own, minimal trimming or training. I'd definitely recommend it as a first grow.

05/30/2019 What a week she responded well to the 12 - 12 light cycle flip and is in BEAST mode , check out last weeks pic before the light change to 12 - 12 she is lower than the green cross brace in background after 1 week she's made great progress, this week start defoiliating and watching for real flowers to start building up.

So I had a few issue. I over watered early on, took them out the seed tray early, started feeding them a week or two late, no humidifier yet but they recovered well.

Officially day 7 of this adventure! Added a couple more cfl 3 of 1,500 lumen 500k and 2 of 800 lumen 500k Plants are looking si happy and amazing had a little strech problem with a couole but j just added more soil for support and they all look pretty good now! Still have the stragler Chocolate Marshmallow but she looks great!

Tag 40: Ich gebe zusätzlich Alg a mic in das Gießwasser zur Stressbehandlung. Tag 46: Ich habe mich entschlossen diesen Grow abzubrechen. Seit kurzem werden die Blätter hell und fühlen sich trocken an. Ich vermute es liegt daran das ich einmal ein großen Schluck zu hartes Wasser genommen habe. Ich hatte einmal zuwenig Gießwasser vorbereitet (PH wert eingestellt 6,3) und es lief unten nicht raus so nahm unvorbereitetes (PH wert 7 etwa) Wasser zum Schluss, zunächst wuchs die Pflanze normal weiter, doch nach 1-2 Wochen stagniert das Wachstum die Blätter sind hell und trocken, auch die neuen Triebe sehen nicht gut aus.

So... welcome back! Last week was rather uneventfull. Just the way I like it. They are all getting more substance though. The middle one is more leafy, the two outer ones are more developed and although the biggest buds are maybe only the size of a lighter. Most buds have filled out with calixes and only little leaves. They are dense and compact. The smell is getting heavier. When close to the buds it reminds of expensive herbal perfumes like Rabane. I distinctly have a 'hug from your poppa' kind of association with it and memories start flowing.... It is citrussy but in the ethereal way, it is spicy in the 'spicetrader' way, a mixture of ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, with a huge funky basetone. This combined, its as if a master perfumer had composed an exquisite fragrance. The funk of an attick full of weed to serve as the musky base undertones upon which, a layer of earthy spices, upon which a floral and citrussy fresh layer. It is bloody amazing and I wished ya'll were with me to smell it and taste it when the time has come. I want to exersize patience but my god this smells better than any weed I recently acquired and we have some excellent dispensaries here. So I've started giving them up to 4 ltrs ( a gallon) of water each, every two days or so. They seem to need it, no drooping but also bonedry earth till deep in the pot. SInce two days ago with less feed and today only the Biobizz Topmax and PH correction. Although not really convinced of flushing, Im trying it to see if I get a more pure taste and experience. So trichomewise I find it hard to see, my magnifier is not strong enough to see the individual trichomes. I do see area's on leafedges etc that seem more amber, trichomes look milky from this distance but have get a better magnifier to get better view. On the images I see that there are many clear ones and not many ambers so we have some weeks to go which is correct according to Advanced Seeds, this Gelato #33 Fast has to flower 45 to 55 days, We are on day 39... The plant itself seems utterly healthy. Some white points and very little heatstress from checking absolute minimum for these lights. You don't know until you find out. For anyone else looking for reviews on Rubol V3 100 watt QB's in a three in a row setup, with 10 cm spacing between each board, the minimal distance is 28 cm or one foot, when flowering, gradually lowering to this point btw. These lights are excellent, good value for money and with the two years of waranty a good investment. Also great service from Justin at www.rubol.nl. They are helpfull, considerate and very knowledgable. So far so good, the grand finale is coming in just one or two weeks and I want to thank you for taking time and read all this, everybody who had advice and answered my growquestions, wish you were here for the harvestparty and may your harvest be bountifull!! We’re deep in bloom now, and the buds are fattening up nicely on all three ladies! The scent is getting stronger by the day and interestingly, while they all share a base note of red pepper, each plant has developed its own unique aroma twist. Really curious to see how that translates after the cure. Overall, everything’s going smoothly, no issues to report. They’re happy, healthy, and stacking up beautifully. Let’s keep it rolling! 💪🌿

It was my first cultivation. I learned a lot and will learn a lot more with the next ones. I understood that intervening on the plant requires a certain experience. In fact, of the three plants, this is the one that has grown best (and has not received any intervention). Easy cultivation ... great result!
