Water intake 400 ml per plant per day I start flushing the Zkittlez she is almost ready. Rest of them need more weeks to be done. Day 81: I removed unwanted fan leaves. I will not water them for 2 days on Saturday and Sunday to shock them a bit. Day 84: So today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday) No water for 24K Gold, Blue Sherbet S1, and Fruit Tree. Zkittlez in flush so she will be harvested soon I won't give her water the last 3 days.

This week has gone good. The pineapple is 50 days old and is doing fine, it's looking like when I topped her I may have fimmed one of the top colas. Jack herer is also 50 days old and is looking real nice. Gorilla cookies is 56 days old and furthest along. She is really throwing out the pistils. Lemon pie is 51 days old and I can't tell what's wrong, she is very droopy. I have tried 24hr without water and she looked worse. This week was very stressful, I left my girls alone because I had holidays of 11 days, got a drip system twice a day due to the heat of 37º

What a journey it has been from seed! I made a lot of mistakes in the first few weeks of this growing journey. I feel like I had a mini-crash after finishing the first year of grad school, and although I am growing cannabis as part of my research project, I haven't been the greatest at paying attention to it. This is not an excuse. It has actually been a learning opportunity. I realized that my body needs proper schedules to function and grow, just like a plant. The problems with the plant have really been my own problems. Let's just say that a plant may be the reflection of the grower. First, the light cycles were wrong and inconsistent. I thought that I could manually control the light schedule for the plants and be alright. However, I was wrong. My sleep schedule has been very inconsistent for the past few months. Mainly because we are living through a pandemic, and secondly because I am a graduate student 😂. How naive was it of me to think that a plant could follow my own rhythms? I guess it highlights my 'plant blindness.' Second, the light intensity was low and PH levels high. In the last five days, I have learned that plants are living organisms (I knew this, but my plant blindness is quick to dismiss it, I need to stop fighting these "plant voices" (signals)) that require a proper environment to grow, similar to humans. Of course, a plant is not human, but it is alive and living. It needs water, a regular schedule (light (active) /darkness (rest), oxygen, nutrients, and an overall good environment to grow. Concern about the size of my plant at five weeks, I decided to conduct a few experiments at home. Here are my notes: Friday, July 23, 2021, I took the plant out of the tent at 6:00 AM and placed it in front of my backyard window that faces the Eastside, perfect for sunrise. On that day, I had a few errands to run, and when I arrived home, it was 2:30 PM. The sun was now hitting the West side of my house, and I had to move the plant in front of my bedroom window. At around 7:00 PM, I went to look at the plant and noticed that its leaves were looking plumpy. So, I decided to take a timelapse to see what I would be able to record. During "magic hour" (sunset), I recorded and witnessed the plant moving with the rhythms of the sun. Plant, like humans, function at their best when they are synchronized with their circadian rhythm. The pandemic has definitely disoriented us to the point that it has disrupted all of our schedules. To this day, I feel tired from everything we have all been through; how could I possibly think that a plant would thrive with such a messed-up schedule? The time lapse made me realize that the plant needs some structure to thrive, and so do I. So, as much as I like to think that I can be disciplined and follow a plant's schedule, I cannot. So, I went to the store and bought the Globe Suite smart plug to automate and schedule the light cycle to 12hrs of light and 6 hours of darkness. Saturday, July 24, 2021, the plant woke up to the set schedule of the lights. I checked on the plant first thing in the morning, around 9:30 AM. The leaves look much greener and thicker than they did the day before. Sunday, July 25, 2021. I was away overnight and did not arrive home until 2 PM. The plant looks twice the size it was on Friday! Today, I will water the plant. I got a PH test kit and realized that the way that I measured the PH level, the first few weeks was wrong 🤦‍♀️🏽. I measured the PH correctly, to 5.9, and added some Reefertilizer grow nutrients to the water. I watered from the top, distributing the water evenly around the stem. My partner pointed to me that the lights seemed dim for the stage of the plant's life. So I had my lights set at 100 watts running at 20 % 😅. I realized that I had not increased the light intensity since the first few weeks of vegetation 🤦‍♀️🏽. So I increased the intensity to 100 watts running at 60%. Monday, July 26, 2021. First check-in 7:00 AM: The plant looks like it loves all of the new changes that I have made! It is finally growing 🤗 The sun is out, but it is not as intense as it should be because tiny particles of smoke are present in our air due to the wildfires, and they create a filter that makes the human eye see the sun blood red. It is quite apocalyptic. Regardless, I decided to take the plant out from the tent and record a time-lapse. It is fascinating how much movement plants have despite showing no noticeable signs of movement (to the human eye). Tuesday, July 27, 2021. It has been five days since I have made big changes to the plant's schedule and environment. The plant is finally showing good signs of growth, and its leaves colours have changed to a deep green. I am not watering the plant today, but I am spritzing it with water. I decided to take another time-lapse of the plant, but this time inside the tent. As I was setting up the tripod for my camera, I accidentally increased the humidifier 🤦‍♀️🏽. Luckily, I noticed within a reasonable timeframe and reduced the humidity and made the environment better. I increased the light intensity to 100 watts at 100%. The plant will stay in the tent all day today because it is raining ☔️.

Day 67: My leaves are getting very crispy so i increased the watering of the garden today and hopefully that fixes the problem. Also the girls are still healing from not having cal mag for 2 weeks. approx day 50: Another week of veg and settling in to the NFT tanks for the girls this week. I am happy with their progress with adjusting to constant feeds and there are no signs of being over fed, burnt, starved etc... GG# has shown the best growth followed still by the Wedding cake then a way behind the Ghost Og. I have given them a slight strip out of any tips I know wont make it to the canopy. They look a lot less clustered now so the light could hit the every strong growth site. lets see how another week does them

I start flunshing now after the last dose of organic additives wich boost sugar and protein storages in the buds to create new tissues and enhance flavour an odour.

Day 1 30/12/24 Monday evening. Started the seed off in de-chlorinated tap water and calmag 3ml to 5L pH 6.4. I will use this water for the rest of the week as sprays and transfer water. Day. 2 31/12/24 Tuesday Seed has sunk 🙌 Transferred now to paper towel, sprayed with same water. Covered. Left in cupboard 24hrs untill tap root emerges ✌️ Day 3 Wednesday 01/01/25 nothing yet so left for a further 24 hours. Day 4 02/01/25 Thursday Tap root just emerged! Seed only just cracked. Will leave a further 24hrs for a sustainable tap root. Day 5 03/01/25 Friday Tap root has reach 2/3cm and now been potted up in a 1L pot with cannaterra pro, added perlite, added cococoir, and dynomyco, all watered yesterday to dampen off. . Sprayed top soils today to settle in seeds. Day 6 04/01/25 Saturday Seed has emerged to top of soil level 😁 Moved all seedlings into the auto tent so they can catch the 600w dual hps. Day 7 05/01/25 Sunday The seedlings are here 🙌 She made it through the first week, onwards and upwards 🚀💚 Seed casing will pop tonight I think. Light spray with de-chlorinated tap water and calmag. This is my first ever grow and i have learned a lot and will forever be learning but one thing I’m going to do is upgrade my lights I made the mistake of going as cheap as possible when I should just shell out the money cause despite this genetic not being a big yeilder I’ve seen someone complain and say they wish they had an xl version when they got a whole oz from their plant I’m guessing I got like 4gs if I’m lucky but it was my mistake you live and you learn, much love❤️

This week was the last week of veg., I will switch to 12/12 (light/darkness) in week 6. The two Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are now 35 and 40 cm tall and have developed nice side-branches, which have grown upwards so they get enough light for good budding sites during flowering. The plants are still fed following the Advanced Nutrients schedule.

All going well now, just lowered my setup by 35cm to gain more space for the ladies... also now my reservoir is below the cabin instead of inside, so much cooler water now (in fact I had to pace a heater to avoid temperature below 18˚C)

11/12 start of week 3 of flower hoping she is done stretching cus I'm out of room when it comes to height. Gave all the goodies plus added Fulpower and molasses 11/15 stretching seems to have stopped. Dropped humidity and raised vpd to stay around 1.5 super cropped the main top to be more level with all the side branches that are pretty uniform and cranked ppfd to the tallest top to 1000 ppfd

Day 57- Did a light defoliation. RO water at 66 PPM. Running until more Ambers pop. Day 58- checked trichromes, ambers are showing up in clumps, I’d say about 15-20% amber trichs at the moment. PPM 55. Day 60: 4-5 day flush brings me to harvest. Cut down both plants, light trim of larger fan leaves and placed in tent. I used 2 scrog nets to hang the buds, worked ok, need to make tighter next time... too much droops! So far, First 24 hours of tent at 68 F and 70% humidity. At 48 hours 67F and reduced to 60% humidity At 72 hours 69 F and reduced to 55% humidity, maintaining till dry. Trying to get temps a little lower but no A/C... Trying to stretch drying time close to 14 days. Anything after 7 and I’m happy.

It’s ready! Can’t harvest till next week as I’m too busy.
