The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 3/28- Day one for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF! I initially soaked the seed in lukewarm tap water for 24 hours, at which time the shell had split and a root tip was visible. I then transferred the seed to a pre-soaked peat pellet which was placed in a 1.5"x1.5" plastic seedling pot which was set into the bottom half of a Solo cup that I cut in half. 3/30- As soon as I could see a root beginning to emerge from the peat pellet I transferred the pellet, that I first coated with Extreme Gardening's MYCOS, into a Solo cup that had a 70/30 Coco/Perlite mix that was pre-amended with Gaia Green 4-4-4 slow release dry amendment, along with wiggle worm castings. After placing the Wedding Cheesecake FF in the cup, I watered it in and placed a humidity dome over it to ensure that it stayed in a relatively moist environment as it gets acclimated to its new 'temporary home'. 4/1- The Wedding Cheesecake FF has taken right to her Solo cup and is looking stress free. Her vigor and color are both exceptional as well! 4/3- Well there's the first week for this little girl. She is a large plant. my height is 1.94 cm / 6'4 f. her buds are very heavy for her. I need to have it with a rope so that it does not fall. I'm happy with this strain of ripper seed. I'll cut it in a couple of days.

For my first photo period run this seems to be going well but looks like she will be in flower a bit longer than expected as she had a very slow 3rd week

Good week for this lovely lady. Her color has improved immensely and she's almost caught up in size to the Blueberry. Since they're settled in I took away the support hoops and will pack up the row cover. Yet again I think it did a fabulous job reducing stress from transplanting. I also added in some Calendula plants yesterday afternoon as they make good companions. It's gonna be a straight up partay in this garden bed😜 Update 6/26- I totally forgot to add that on Monday the garden got a spraying of horn manure. Horn manure is a biodynamic preparation of cow manure that's been fermented in a buried horn. This results in a material that's teeming with beneficial flora and fauna for the soil. Ideally it would be sprayed prior to planting in the spring as it encourages healthy root growth. I purchased the pre-potenized so that I only had to spend 20 mins stirring rather than an entire hour. That would have been brutal😵 I sprayed it at night when the earth is breathing in and used a spruce bough to sprinkle it over the plants in the garden. The extra icing on the cake was that there was a rain the day before, and another the day after I sprayed so it was well watered in.

20cm growth this week. Flowers are forming and I can see purple on them 😍 The bad news this week is I was bending her lower branches.. trying to spread her out a bit. I've managed to snap both of them! She has been repaired best I can do, so will monitor it over next day or so to see how effective the fix is. I don't hold out much hope for one branch.. Looks like it's wilting already 😞

01/09/2022 Finally time to flower, and all girls went into flower room at lights out.The males will be next week, don't want to put them in to early so I will carefully check every day and separate before they open their flowers. I'm guessing week 3-4 I Will select two branches on each female to selectively pollinate. 01/11/2022 Blue Matter #5 (update #5 culled male) repotted with lemon og seed Will continue in her own evolving diary. My hope is to eventually graft different cuts for a multiple variety mom plant, I can have 6 total plants And would be nice to be able to maintain only one mom.
