I got the seeds from a local dealer so I was unsure what type of strain it was but he told me it was a Gorilla Glue Auto flower so I just went with that. That is why in the first few weeks I set my lights on a 20/4 lights on and off schedule. Around 7 weeks in my grow the guy I got it from said that his flowered when he switched his light to 12/12 so I kinda doubt that it's an auto and maybe it is just a photo. I then switched the lights to 16/8 just because I heard it is better to give them more rest and is better on electric. When I thought that the plant was big enough to go into flowering I just flipped the switch to 12/12 and two weeks later it started flowering so I don't know if it was just time for the plant to start flower or the flip. But in the end I got a weight of 1500 grams wet weight with the stems on and a dry weight of 215.56 grams of just straight bud so at the end it was very good considering the light I have and ran into some problems on the way.0000

Topped almost everyone. Anaphylaxis are exploding. Super fast vegetative growth. Very impressed so far. The osiris and wedding pie seem to have very short internodal spacing. I am guessing that they don't need as much light as the other strains.

~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!๐Ÿคฏ I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. For a more detailed and accurate description of this strain the following from FastBuds says it best: "Combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper cuts (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a big, expansive bush adorned with numerous bud sites that later transform into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. Papaya Sherbet flowers deliver a signature flavor of premium cannabis with subtle citrus undertones that emerge upon inhaling. During growth, her aroma makes for a sweet yet pleasantly bitter fragrance, giving you an idea of what the smoke will taste like. Notably stress-resistant, Papaya Sherbet is a great choice for growers working in challenging environments. She is very forgiving and rebounds quickly from any adversity, allowing growers the freedom to experiment with confidence that she will take everything like a champion she is. This strain embodies resilience, flavor, and abundant yields in every grow cycle." Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!๐Ÿ˜ ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40'sโ„‰). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50'sโ„‰, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ’š ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 9/12- Week 5 of flower is upon the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and she's looking like a champ! 9/14- My daily routine of watering, removing dead foliage and checking over the flowers continues. 9/16- The flowers on the Papaya Sherbet are all stacking nicely and are really starting to get super frosty! 9/18- Storms came thru overnight and in the morning I found that the Papaya Sherbet had sustained some damage. Right where the divide was from being topped she split. I quickly mended the split with duct tape and crossed my fingers for luck. I also place a couple more support poles to help support her. With another week of flower behind her, the Papaya Sherbet is looking to be in great shape for the upcoming weeks where she'll be putting on weight! Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! ๐Ÿ’šGrowers Love!๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ™

It's almost time, she looks beautiful. The nugs on this plant are BIG, I genuinely don't think the photos do her justice! This RQS variety is much larger than the FastBuds version but the nugs look very different to each other. Check out my other diary and see what you think. Next week I will flush and then harvest ๐Ÿ˜€

Wow what a strain! The flowers are absolutely caked with trichs, making the flowers look heavily frosted. The smell is pungent and pretty dank smelling. The taste I find to be pretty mild. Where this strain stands out is the very powerful punch it packs! WOW lol this one will have you staring at a blank tv screen for 30 minutes before you remember what you were doing lol no complaints on this strain, have it growing again this run too! Thanks for following along!!! On to the next one!

The buds did seem a little airy and fluffy after dry trim. Granted they were full of trichomes, although i do wish they were more dense. The plant did spend its last 5 weeks of flower outdoors in the greenhouse so possibly the extreme heat could have been the culprit. She is full of dark ember orange/red hairs and has super bag appeal. The smoke is smooth with a high that just smacks you about half way through the joint. The smoke was smooth and the high was very indica dominant with an initial hour of cerebal pleasure proceeding the later heavy high . Very unique and wonderful smell as she cures. The high is very strong and clear minded. Its good for an evening smoke in my opinion. Can be a heavy high but without the couch lock.
