Week one of vegetative growth for Pineapple Upside Down – Round 2, from Humboldt Seed Company. I’ll be straight: the start wasn’t smooth, again. Even keeping things ā€œsimple,ā€ I managed to stress the seedling early on. The initial mix was tap water with a very light dose of CalMag and a bit of Voodoo Juice, with pH sitting around 5.8–5.9. The coco pellet was fully hydrated, but the plant clearly didn’t like something. It looked like early burn or a harsh reaction, which is frustrating because the input level was low. At that point, the likely causes were pretty classic: maybe the feed was still too rich for a newborn, maybe the dome ran too warm, or maybe the seedling just hates my ā€œlight touchā€ and wants even less. So I did the smartest thing: I stopped guessing and reset. I rehydrated the coco pellet again using only RO water. I dropped EC down to 0.4 and kept it minimal, using just a small amount of FormuleX. No CalMag, no extras, just a clean baseline. Since that change, things look more encouraging. I can see two new pairs of leaves coming in, and that’s the sign I wanted. The seedling is around 5 cm tall right now, and I’ve kept humidity high in the mini greenhouse to support rooting and recovery. The goal for next week is simple: clean new growth. If the new leaves stay healthy, I’ll know the issue was the early mix and not something deeper. And yeah—seedling starts are still my weak spot. I’m clearly making mistakes somewhere in that ā€œfirst 10 daysā€ window, and I need to tighten the process until it’s repeatable. For now: stable environment, minimal inputs, and steady observation. See you next week. **Quick update on the Pineapple Upside Down Round 2.** I transplanted the plant into its final pot. She’s still a small one, but the roots have clearly started to develop, and she now has four full pairs of leaves. That was enough of a signal for me to move her into the final container without waiting any longer. That said, the start hasn’t been as clean or as smooth as I would have liked. It’s not a perfect takeoff, but it’s clearly not as catastrophic as the previous cycle either. The plant still looks fairly vigorous, which is reassuring at this stage. I’m still running the humidity dome to keep a high level of moisture around the plant during this early phase. The goal is to limit stress as much as possible and help the roots settle properly after the transplant. I mixed a fresh, light nutrient solution. EC is set around 1.0. I’m running Athena Grow A & B, plus a small dose of Cal-Mag. Roughly 0.9 ml per liter for Grow A and Grow B, adjusted to reach that EC. Hopefully, the combination of the transplant and the light nutrient solution won’t slow her down or cause any setback. The focus here is stability, not performance. On the lighting side, I lowered the fixture slightly and reduced the power to stay efficient. PPFD is sitting around 180 at canopy level, which feels appropriate for this early stage. So overall, not a perfect start, but still a workable one. We’ll see how she reacts over the next few days, and I’ll do another update at the end of the week. See you next week. Stay safe, growers.

Hello fellow growers, I haven't realized that is has been 2 weeks already so going into week 7 with the amazing bubblegun. There are quite some changes when you compare the pictures from two weeks ago it looks like there wasn't any defoliation done at all the tent is packed with big leaves and happy plants with the defect are still a little behind and are not as full as the others and the leaves look a bit weird but we will see what the fututre brings. No scrog netting this time but the next time i will use it again cause i like the way that it effects the plants growth. i lowered the lighting by about 20 cm's and i will do some defoliation in the following week no changes in the nutrients but starting next week im going to add Epic Blast the flower booster from hy-pro That is all for this update talk next week Cheers, Nibameca

Starting to see some frost building up! This plant has been slower to come around but she sure shot up. I did LST a little late on the main cola so it looks a bit funky but she's living and packing on weight. I consider it a win and lesson learned <3

Our Zamnesia Critical Cheese Automatic has a distinct, predominantly sativa appearance. What a plant guys, I cleaned the ugly flowers very very well and I can really say that I am very happy with this plant. Swollen buds, well aligned and looks super healthy, can't wait to smoke this. Techniques chosen: Here, we applied LST to a plant with short internodal spacing; it's not ideal, but we wanted to give it a try. We're 100% organic and 1000% Plagron, as always. The soil we've chosen is the recently released Plagron Bio LightMix, which will allow us to start flowering more smoothly and reliably, without the sudden changes that liquid fertilizers can cause. A week is more than enough, so don't overdo it. We're in the final flowering stage and things are starting to get serious, so we're adding our legendary bloom booster Green Sensation and starting the late flowering phase. - Green Sensation 1 ml/l - Pure Zym 1 ml/l - Silic Rock 1 ml/l - CalMag Pro 1 ml/l - Sugar Royal 1 ml/l - Power Buds 1 ml/l - Alga Bloom 0 ml/l Just booster and soon in flush Choose your preferred style and calculate your results on the website: www.plagron.com Z - https://www.zamnesia.io/it/531-growshop A great strain, not tall but very bushy! Give it a try! Z - https://www.zamnesia.io/en/3334-zamnesia-seeds-critical-cheese-automatic-feminized.html Z - Not content with what they already had in their hands, the expert breeders at Zamnesia Seeds wanted to embark on a journey into the world of autoflowering genetics, aiming to improve upon a great British classic... the Cheese cannabis strain. They crossed Critical with a high-quality Cheese specimen, enriched with a significant amount of Ruderalis. The result is an extremely potent, therapeutic, and easy-to-grow autoflowering version. This new, improved strain has been named Critical Cheese Automatic. Critical Cheese Automatic embodies everything that made the original Cheese so famous, acclaimed, and loved around the world. We're, of course, talking about the Skunky flavors and pungent aromas this strain releases, not to mention the overwhelming effects it induces. Lovers of the original Cheese will surely appreciate this feminized reincarnation. Smoking Critical Cheese Automatic produces exceptionally potent sensations for an autoflowering strain. Its effects are quite strong and highly physical, both in intensity and duration. With these properties (or "body") in mind, it's no wonder many medical users are the first to want to get their hands on this "skunky" plant. Those suffering from chronic pain, inflammation, stress, anxiety, and migraines (to name just a few of the ailments it can alleviate) will notice their symptoms diminish, if not disappear completely, thanks to the potency of this strain. With this autoflowering "upgrade" of the Cheese strain, even novice growers can achieve excellent results. It's a vigorous plant, incredibly easy to grow, and requires little maintenance. Commercial growers looking to generate income will appreciate Critical Cheese Automatic primarily for its life cycle: from germination to harvest in just 10 weeks. When grown properly, it can produce yields of 120-150g per plant. In addition to its excellent yields, Critical Cheese Automatic reaches a rather compact size (1 m), making it highly suitable for any type of grow. That said, Critical Cheese Automatic only thrives when grown outdoors in warm climates (like those of Spain or Italy). So, in conclusion, whether you're a beginner, veteran, or commercial grower, Critical Cheese Automatic offers great satisfaction to everyone. You know it, but I recommend it: here you'll find so many beautiful things, basically "all the best that nature has to offer." Week 9 Flower Report: The Countdown to Harvest Begins! 🌼✨ As the ninth week of flower unfolds, the room is a symphony of colors and frosty brilliance—a true gardener’s dream! But as we approach the final stretch, it’s a delicate dance of vigilance and care to ensure a clean and bountiful harvest. Here’s a deep dive into this exciting and educational week: The ā€œFlushā€ in Full Swing The flush continues as we prepare the ladies for their final days. While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. Running deep red, far red, and UV at 100%, combined with whites at 50%, is delivering incredible results. The ability to fine-tune the spectrum is a game-changer for resin production and terpene enhancement. Environmental Mastery Here’s a peek into the environmental stats keeping the ladies thriving: • Room Temperature: 26°C • Relative Humidity (RH): 53.2% • VPD: 1.57 kPa • CO2: 1067 ppm • PPFD: 690 µmol/m²/s This balance creates the perfect conditions for fattening buds and maximizing quality in the final weeks. Nutrient & Soil Rundown On the nutrient side, the solution measures: • pH: 6.67 • TDS (Reservoir): 65 ppm • Solution Temp: 18.3°C Soil stats show a TDS of 695 ppm, indicating there’s still some nutrient reserve left in the medium—a perfect transition into the flush phase. It’s all about ensuring the plants have enough to finish strong without compromising flavor or smoothness. A Garden of Many Colors The fades across the room are a sight to behold. Each strain is showcasing its unique hues, with the Green Papaya leading the frost parade, and the Punch Pie taking the crown for bud size. Meanwhile, the Gorilla Melon is dazzling with red reflections, and the Papaya Zoap keeps turning heads with its white crystalline canopy. Videos with TM+ Pro This week, I’m also sharing videos straight from the TM+ Pro app. This tool has been a joy to use, offering precise control and insights into my grow environment. It’s simple for beginners and robust for advanced growers, proving once again that the TrolMaster ecosystem is a must-have in any grow room. P.S. Ecosystem Excellence I can’t emphasize enough how incredible the TrolMaster ecosystem is for growers of all levels. From intuitive configuration to seamless integration, it’s a system that simplifies growing while delivering professional results. Whether you’re just starting out or refining your craft, TrolMaster has your back. Thank Yous & Shoutouts As always, my heartfelt thanks to my sponsors: TrolMaster, ThinkGrow LEDs, Aptus Holland, Pro Mix Soil, Cannakan, and the amazing seed banks for their genetics. Huge love to the community—followers, haters, and everyone in between. And, of course, a special nod to Grow Diaries for being a platform where we can all share and learn together. So far she is staying small as I wished. Will start raising nutes little by little this week as more leaves come. At the third set of descent true leaves formed I plan to move her to the flower tent at 12/12 with more red spectrum. Attempting a candelabra trained tiny grow with one top and two side trained colas. I have to say this is the first time I ever strived for small. Usually I am trying to fill the tent.

UPDATE DAY 79, LAST DAY OF ETHOS Pineapple Runtz Autoflower šŸ Fed 1/2 tsp of Winter Frost The smell hasn't been too overwhelming, which I'm hoping translates to terpene preservation, or I'm nose blind. Fatty nuggs, resin stacked , big trichomes. Nice yellow fade šŸ’› The seed pack called for 70-80 days, I anticipated these taking every bit of that. Which they are! Super excited for these resin Pineapple bud.

Day 80, 22nd of October 2020: 3rd week of flowering! Happiness she needs a lot of boost hard to keep up. She loves fertilization too much..... I mean before always craving for nitrogen now qould need more potassium and phosphorus hard to keep up. I also detect deficiency based on the leaves getting lighter and brown spots but I do feed her as much as I can really. This week i have relised the first nice trichomes started "sitting" on the leaves as well and the pistils coming out nicely pre flowers forming. Let's go.

Our journey is slowly coming to an end. Unfortunately, Lady Runtz hasn't formed big buds and seems to have had a few problems with N. I guess she will be harvested in a few days.

All the plants are building buds. This herercane has big pistils just like the jack herer parent. Hoping the sugar cane brings some elevated frost to it. Gave them a little beastie bloomz. I cut them off the maxigro today since the leaf tips are burning. Other than that everything is going smooth.
