Update Day 22 flowering: A good week of bud building this week for the Fft Girls. FFT#8 Is still in here but not a lot tonsay about her really sadly I didn't get to try this one out properly but will try again sometime. FFT#9 Has been a dream to work with and build so far . Her progression this week on her flower building has been perfection. Her ruderalis traits had her stretch about finished at day 12 and she had begun to flower properly. I did a defoliate at day 19 instead of day 21 due to their faster genetics. They looked stripped below decks but by day 21 they refilled a few back out and now look leafed up again. lol She has a little tackiness tot her stems now and is picking up a nice piney smell. She has some great looking mains now and should be a good yielder. FFT#10 Another winner in my book. This lady wanted to grow her own way initially but has now accepted her fate and behaves as i wanted niw. lol. Her budstacks are a little wider apart due to her indica/sativa ratios being more indica I feel . Her dark green colour is so stark in contrast to the other strains too. Her stacks look more leafy orientated than the other strains too. i defoliated her too but she responded quickly with sugar leaf growth. Her bud sizes are looking promising to say she has 4-5 weeks to go so fingers crossed for baseball bat colas. She has been easy to grow with no issues at any point so far. prior to the defol , I had purposely dried them out to get a cycle going better of wet /dry. She showed her disapproval first with major leaf drooping across her whole frame. She is a thirsty girl too. I am happy with all of these testers and impressed at their rapid development too. I do think the new sp3000 has plated a part in this development too as the extra reds and stuff added are more for the flowering cycle than previous sp series ones. the Sp250 is giving me a great addition to the outside edge of the girls so should keep them all in max lumens until the harvest. This week the grow 40x40x130 and A LED quantum board 150W arrived. About the plant: The plant showed a deficiency as we can see in photo 1. With that I applied an NPK 10-10-10 watering and we can see the development in photos 2, 3 and 4.

Week 9 begins. . Tie your mother down! A lovely faint aroma in the grow cupboard this morning & the buds are looking healthy I've stressed her branches out and in a few days hopefully all will be looking beautiful again 💚

The plants are looking really healthy. I’m still getting used to my new lights. I think I didn’t push enough light in week 2 of flower I’m ramping up the light intensity now. I had to whip out my par meter I was keeping the light to far off the plants. This light has to be closer to the plants than my mini sun. I’m lurking this light a lot I just need to get used to it

Poly Harvest 622g lost about 3g to bud rot as one bud was about to go south due to all the wet assed weather lately. good thing we got her today. Easy trim Wow did winter ever get here fast. Snow this weekend so everything is chopped. Busy busy day Not sure how to amend the harvest to include Zona - 445 grams wet but do what I can She did well and in the end was healthier than Poly. Very slight point of bud rot (cold and wet) perhaps one gram affected. Will update dry weight as I may BTW the dog in the video is named Mater and he loves cannabis, he hangs around when I harvest and eats any leaves I discard. No hes a good dog leaves the plants themselves alone :) Zona 167 grams dry I am good with that on a plant almost cut down lost a few grams to bud rot nothing remarkable given the weather

This week I finally removed my plant(shaman) that I didn't want to keep. Gave her away to a friend, hopefully in ''good'' care LOL. Sprayed them with CANNA RHIZOTONIC again. Did a little LST and some defoliation. Had to raise my PH a little bit because I did a small flush and found out that my run-off was like 5.6-5.7PH which is a little to low. So to keep a good PH in my soil i have them some water with ph 6.2-6.3. Not to much because then your soil will be ph 6.2-6.3. I just want to have it arround 5.9-6 for now.

Quiet week in the flower tent this week. Got couple new additions in the form of a humidifier for lights out and a Vivosun Aerolab THB. Both are welcome tools. The Aerolab seems accurate on temp and humidity but is consistently a couple of points off on VPD, which means I just deduct .2 off the value shown to give me a closer value to the true VPD. Useful even though inaccurate. Otherwise nothing to tell. The buds are getting bigger and swelling but I do believe she is giving her all. Here's to next week. :-)

Today officially starts week 4 of flower.. - The best part of my day is waking at 530am to open my tent and get a big whiff of that beautiful aroma. MMMM. Gave the girls a good watering this morning and picked out some dying vegetation from under the canopy to keep things clean. Humidity is still a bit low, but with all the vegetation in there I don't mind. I'd literally cry if I got bud rot or some crap like that. - I noticed that the critical kush stems seem kind of of flimsy compared to the other strains. No doubt it smells amazing, but as she puts on more weight it's likely to become a problem. Maybe I should consider silica on the next run.?! Of the 3 kiwi skunk phenos, only one seems to be producing any significant tricombs or smell. The other two look as though they will be good yielders, however, I seriously doubt any real potency. - Of the 9 plants I currently have growing, I would expect I'll probably only keep 3, maybe 4. There's no point wasting time on mediocre bud. - I think the pheno hunt is the best part of the growing process. Every seed is like having a new child. Sometimes, they grow up to be such beautiful creatures. Other times, you can tell their clock ain't ticking right. You can end up with fat high powered coals or those small, no good popcorn buds. And, at the end of the day, unlike kids and wives, you can throw them away and not feel sorry for ordering new replacements online when you get tired of their BS. - - - I love that my tent is right next to my desk. It's the best view anyone could ever ask for! 😍 - Went through today and pulled out a small bit of water leaves to increase airflow from the bottom up to the top, as well as to allow the light to reach deeper in to the canopy. I don't get too crazy with the plucking. Only if its covering another cola or overlapping causing moisture to build up on the leaves. It works well, in my case, to keep the humidity down and limits places for any potential pests to hide while flowering. I usually pull out a handful every other day or so. - - Switched my center light (600w) down to 50% (flower spectrum only) on the 28th. With all of my lights on full spectrum, there's more than enough light for the plants (~1200w eq). I noticed new pistils emerging that shouldn't be and I fear it's causing light stress and/or foxtailing to the critical kush, which is directly in the center of the tent. Since it happened on my last grow with the blue dream and it's not inherently genetic, I'll err on the side of caution this time around.

The girls have been very busy making golf balls this week! The cookies are also starting to frost up 🤗 At the beginning of the week there was not much to do, the girls had stopped stretching and were settled in. In my 2x4 tent, all I had to do was tuck fold the leaves to open up the bud sites. I basically did the same for my big tent. Simply moved some leaves from blocking sites, and plucked just a few that were rather large. They are still needing to be watered every 72 hours or so. I have been keeping to a feed, water, feed schedule now that we are into flower. I just started to notice that some of the tops are showing some nutrient burn, just a little, and not every plant. This tells me I have hit their limit with the nutrients, somewhere between 700 and 750 ppm. The last watering I did, I watered to about 10% runoff, trying to make sure that there are no salt or mineral buildup that can cause lockout or other issues. At the end of the week, day 21, I defoliated both tents, not too much, but enough to open up the bottom growth a bit. Also tidied up the lower portion below the trellis, as this just wastes energy and yield from the main colas in the long run. No real issues or problems so far, Happy Gardening Folks! 🇨🇦👊❤️😎💨
