Apparently, we’re supposed to take picks of the seeds germinating, with their packages if possible to identify strains/breeders. Good to know! 😎💨
So I was not happy with the growth of one of my AK-47’s, so I popped a Gorilla Glue #4 Auto by Expert Seeds, my thinking is that this is such a short strain (8 weeks or so) that it may just catch up and finish with the other’s which are 11-13 week strains. Yea may just give the straggler the boot . Anywho, here we are…
I had a tip from a friend to add a splash of hydrogen peroxide to the water used to soak the seed. I’ve done this now 5 times, with two different breeders ( Crop King and Expert Seeds) and ended up with all 5 seeds cracked and ready for the paper towel after 18 hours. Within 36 hours, they were all ready to plant, and we’re able to shake the seed husk without any intervention.
Looking good 🧐 No issues, RH and temp have been steady. Very Impressed with the T4 by AC Infinity 😎💨
I’ve been misting the dome, also the leaves with a foliar spray, 2ml Sensi+ CalMag mixed in 1 litre of spring water. I’ll be removing the dome in a couple of days, and will start using ph balanced water soon, still with the CalMag, and will incorporate nutrients somewhere around day 16-21.
I’m keeping the pot small, and am hoping I’ll be able to keep it and see it through, tent space is quickly becoming a premium with my AK-47’s hitting their stride 🦍😎💨 First world problems eh! Stay warm Growmie’s.
Day 14- I gave her first “real” watering, 500 ml of extremely diluted nutrient solution. This was yesterday, and she is not showing and angry symptoms…yet. I just turn her around once in a while when I am in my tent tending the others, otherwise, not much thought this week.
I still plan to let this one stretch tall before I start any LST, if I do. Space is a premium, and I am looking to get a feel for how this cultivar grows, as I have lots of these seeds.
Sooooooo, I received a bunch of different size fabric pots that I had ordered. I decided to transplant (Eeek!) into the new equivalent sized pot. She definitely was not happy, and almost slowed to a complete stop, then the last 2 or three days took off again. Gave her a 1/2 diluted dose of nutrients with a PPM that was fairly low. She is just now seeming to be bouncing back.
Week 4-(Day 29)
She has recovered from my transplant disaster. The combination of that, and the feeding I had given her was a lot of stress all at once, and it shows on some of her leaves that were damaged.
However, she has recovered quite nicely, and has grown into her light quite a bit this week. I haven’t done anything other than leaf tucking. I kept her damaged leaves on as once she corrected herself, no further spread is noticeable.
I’ve got a bigger 6x4x7 tent setup, and am gathering all the necessary components to keep a perpetual grow happening. Looking at the Smart -8 from Medic Grow, amazing value (still pricey) for the footprint it makes! Any ideas on how to convince my wife to let me buy a 1000 dollar💡? Lol 😆
I’ve done nothing to this girl, and have hardly given any nutrients, and yet she thrives. No LST yet, no room. Need a bigger light before I can really get the 6x4 going. I’m going to be making some room in a week or so, as my 1 AK-47 is soooo close to be done.
Haven’t done anything, other than start a full dose regiment of nutrients this week. Working on a bigger light situation for my large tent, in the meantime space is limited 😢
Going well, it seems like I blinked and this plant was flowering! Keeping the Christmas tree style, just tied down some of the satellite buds to give them more light. Full feeding schedule this week of feed, feed, water around the 850 ppm mark. I have moved everything to my new 6x4x7 foot tent, new Spider Farmer SF4000 and in-line fan are installed, and started some of her sisters and cousins, more to come!
Started to show some Phosphorus and / or Calcium deficiency. Flower comes on fast for this strain, gave her two feeds with an increase of CalMag and “P” from my NPK nutrient line and she looks great again. Such a short life span for this Autoflower strain, problems come fast! This is the end of her 8 weeks, tricomes are almost all cloudy with a few clear, she still has a bit to go before she is done. She is LOUD, ordered a new filter for the big tent to accommodate some funk I have coming up in ranks at the moment, more to come! 🌱😎💨
Day 63- March 2
She is just cruising along, fattening up stinking up my house every time I open the tent. This was the start of her final week… she is getting cloudier and cloudier, not too many amber tricomes yet, but some. She is greasy, the leaves and buds are resinous not sandy like my AK’s were 🤤I’ve lowered her nutes earlier in the week and have started just ph’d water. I wish I had a bit more room when I had started her to get some train going, but I have 3 more already popped and on day 2 going in my new 6x4, lots of space! 🌱😎💨
This was her last week. She got PHAT! Big Center cola with 5 or 7 smaller satellite colas, no larf on this plant. She is pungent, and strong smelling, and is so sticky and frosty. One of the best looking strains I’ve grown. She had about 15% amber tricomes and the rest were cloudy. I think she is going to be a couch locker. She is hanging and drying now, 65 degrees and about 58% RH.

Happy Harvest Day!
Gorrila Glue #4 Auto (Expert Gorilla Auto) - Expert Seeds
**Update** 96.5 grams dry from 1 Autoflower! Amazing smells, still has some of the 🍈 funk. She needs to cure to let the Terps and Flavors come out. She is still very sticky and resinous. Will update once a week or two of cure is done, but with the 1 joint I smoked, full heavy hitter, body buzz and heavy head high. Looking forward to the finished product.
This plant flourished with little work on my part. Good nutrients, and not being too hands on let this beast do her own thing. I would definitely recommend as a beginner strain/auto flower to go with, she is easy to see through to the end. Didn’t really need much attention until flower came on and she fed hard for phosphorus and potassium while she stacked. I’ve got some of her cousins already sprouted and am looking forward to trying some different techniques to see what she can do! Happy growing all 🌱😎
