🌱 Week 2 Report: The Journey Evolves 🌱 Grow Fam, the adventure is in full swing! 🌟 The Gorilla Melon from Fast Buds is out and shining its light, and the Papaya Zoap has made its debut in the Cannakan, bringing with it a story that adds even more depth to this incredible run. When the universe speaks, we listen. 🍈✨ I didn’t plan on popping Papaya Zoap from Sweet Seeds just yet, but sometimes things just have a way of aligning. After a few other seeds didn’t germinate, I felt an inner pull toward this special strain. As it turns out, the universe had something beautiful in mind! Just days later, my brother @daggadna also began germinating the same genetics—gifted to us during Spannabis. Was it a coincidence? I don’t think so. 🌱 This is more than just a grow now—it’s a journey with purpose, guided by synchronicity and connection. I can already feel the magic building up with this one, and I can’t wait to see where this road takes us! Now, onto the Papaya Zoap… something tells me this plant is going to take us on a ride we didn’t expect but absolutely needed. 💚 Let’s make something incredible, Brother Dagga—this one’s going to be legendary. Gear Updates: All Systems Go 🚀 This week, everything’s dialed in perfectly with the TrolMaster system. Shout out to the incredible DSH-2U Humidity Station! 🌬️ This tool is giving me precision control over the RH (relative humidity) ranges in the room, keeping the environment just right for my babies. Having that accurate readout and control allows me to maintain optimal levels for each stage of growth. It’s like magic—you plug it in, set the desired ranges, and let it do its thing! 🌡️ By monitoring and adjusting humidity levels on-the-fly through the TrolMaster app, I can ensure the environment remains stable, and that means happier plants and healthier growth! No more guessing games. From anywhere—whether I’m working in the garden or chilling out—I can track and tweak it all. Heck, I could be on the toilet and still have complete control over my room! 😂 The AMP-3 Precision Meter has been running 24/7 in my water solution, giving me real-time updates so I can make any corrections when needed, right from my phone. This tech has taken my grow to another level. ✨ Nutrition Update: Keeping It Balanced 🍃 As for feeding, we’re sticking with the basics to give the plants what they need, without overloading. Right now, I’m running: • Regulator: 0.15ml/l • Startbooster: 0.25ml/l For now, I feel like this is the sweet spot—just enough to encourage root development and early growth without overloading them. Continued growth, feeding every 3 days as soil dries out. Nice growth spurts noted and apical dominance broken via LST as limbs/new growth reach skyward. Minor fan leaf removal to permit light saturation and airflow to lower areas. Feeding 1/2 gallon per plant about every 3 days.

7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Landrace Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Black African Magic: Black African Magic, Alson known as BAM, is a Sativa pure land race strain, It's classified under the Cannabis Sative species and its genetics come from Africa-the Ituri Forest in the Dmocratic Repoublic of Congo. The Effects are said to be Very Psychedelic, used for Stress managment and for better sleep and rest. This is my frist Land Race so we, will see how this goes together.. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Everything looks like it is going good, she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth. Day 1 VEG tomorrow.. Water Change Day and first real meal...

Sadly coming Coming to the end. Hopefully if all is well she should be getting harvested next week. She's filled out well don't think I'm going to get much more from her. Currently being flushed every other day. Then I'll let her dry out before giving her the chop.

I transplanted into the final pot, 20 gallons. I am affording a gallon of medium per week of plant growth. This will be a 20 week grow. This has been a very relaxing grow as I don't have to see about multiple plants at once.

The Durban Poison crew is looking robust as we hit week 19 of the grow! The plants continue to thrive in their vegetative stage, filling out their space under the netting with healthy, vibrant growth. Integrated Pest Management (IPM): Consistent IPM remains a priority to keep the garden healthy. By utilizing companion plants like African marigolds and strawberries strategically placed around the grow bags, we are successfully deterring pests naturally. The Marigolds: This year, the yellow marigold has truly stood out, growing even taller than the surrounding orange varieties, making it the tallest in the collection. The Plants: The crew is holding steady. Plant 1 and Plant 6 are showing great development, benefiting from the ongoing low-stress training and the support of the custom netting setup. It has been a productive season so far, and I’m looking forward to the next phase of development as we continue to nurture these plants to their full potential.

3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.

This week I finished the last clones, hoping to see some great phenotypes. I plan to keep the best ones, make a selection, and keep the best ones, then plant more to select the best and discard the rest. Next week, for flowering, I've raised my light to its maximum height (I don't use a filter inside the grow tent; I have the whole room under one filter) and to 50% power to give them a little extra boost these last few weeks and improve their growth. I love having the information on my phone to know what's happening with my babies at all times.

The final days. Tomorrow IS harvest time. Both plants faded black/purple in the end with nice buds end lot of trichomes. They will be hang drying now for 10 days and then another 10 days curing with vivi-cure Packs.

This week, the plants have shown strong growth, with nearly 10cm of height gained. Dominant branches are starting to emerge, though all the shoots are making their way towards the light. The plants are very thirsty, requiring more water, and I've removed a few side branches and shading leaves to improve airflow and light penetration.

Start week 8 , Bio Bloom 4 ml/L + Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra 2 ml/L + CarboLoad 2 ml/L + Top Max 4 ml/L (Ph 6.7).
