Auto cinderella jack - Amazing week of growth. There are new nodes exploding from everywhere and its not showing signs of slowing down. They are currently loving the organic nutes and have started showing signs of flowering. Auto critical cheese - this plant has shot up recently. It was planted a week later that the ACJ but is growing some seriously fat fan leaves. Should be a nice yeilder. Peanut butter cookies - this girl is looking pretty sorry for herself. I am intentionally trying to keep her as small as possible so that I can get the autos out before flipping into flower but she is gonna be a beast. Will transplant into a final pot in the next day or so.

It’s been a good week of bud growth. I started turning up the dial to 400watts over night when the temps start to lower. I did add an hps to add color and wattage to the grow and not break the bank. So far it’s paying off. With allot of heat I’m keeping my eye on the water levels. Refilling as needed.

Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. Seguimos regando con un pH estable entre 5.9 y 6.0. 💧 Aditivos añadidos al riego Hemos incorporado también: Atazyme, para ayudar a la descomposición de raíces muertas y mejorar la absorción. Coco Booster Uni, para estimular el sistema radicular y el vigor general. Todo de nuestra marca de confianza: Atami. 💡 Ajustes en el cultivo Ajustamos la distancia del LED para optimizar la intensidad lumínica. Comenzamos a realizar un ligero croping en las plantas más altas para igualar el dosel antes de floración. 🌿 Estado de las plantas Las 4 plantas de Humboldt están respondiendo muy bien por ahora. D54 - Another week, still a stunted runt lol. Oh well, at least I learned how NOT to transplant :D D56 - The runt is getting frostier by the day. D60 - The end of the fourth week of flower. I'm not putting in any effort into this grow and am instead just letting her do her thing. I've started to spot a few amber trichomes here but it will still take a while for this tiny lady to finish.

Day 49 - Had to put the 3 Girl Scout cookies on a 12/12 light cycle to get them to switch to flower for some reason, first time I have had that happen with autos but all the plants are doing good, 2 of my strawberry pies are showing a little calmag deficiency but overall they are doing great and getting extremely frosty! First grow ever! Popped the seeds while still working out the kinks on the misting system. Growing in a custom built 24" x 36" x 48" fully insulated box. I've got the fans and humidifier dialed in to hold temps and humidity steady during the day and am only losing about 6°C during lights out (Depending on temperature in Garage). Everyone was sprouted in Rapid Rooters surrounded by hydroton. Right now I'm tweaking the misting system with solenoids to minimize dripping as I'd like to go water-to-waste... but without being super wasteful. Only the two autos (AKxCM and SCH) will be staying in the box for the duration of the grow. The other four seedlings are photos and will be moved to a sunny window to put on some size prior to being moved outdoors towards the end of May. I'm a total rookie, but have tried to pay lots of attention to other diaries and lots of forums. I'm sure i'll make some mistakes along the way, but hopefully ya'll will keep me on the true garden path. I'm looking forward to all your questions, comments, and nasty remarks.

Forgot to water these ladies for a couple of days but after a heavy watering and a good feeding they perked right back up. I have 2 flower tents running with sunset sherbet right now. Regardless of wether I think they are ready or not I will be switching them to flower in 3 more weeks. Can’t wait to see how these ladies flower!
