9/1 Update: Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this 16 strain photoperiod SOG grow adventure! If you're just joining us. We have 18 photoperiod seedlings in the tent. 16 of them will go into 12"X12" square pots in a 4x4 sea of green. I plan to top once just above the third node. I will also allow the 2 shoots from the second node to grow with the top two to form 4 main colas. The Gorilla x Cookies sprouted 8/26! STILL nothing from Jenny Kush. Weak-sauce! The garden is happy and healthy! I am going to transplant this upcoming weekend into 6" x 6" square pots so they have room to stretch their legs and build a nice foundation before going into bloom. With Jenny seemingly out if the running, we have 17 seedlings and 2 of them are regular seeds. Hopefully at least one of the two will be female. I am going to say both will be little ladies! If we have an extra female she will veg a bit longer to go on the other side of the 4'x8' bloom tent. That's all I have to report today! Thanks for stopping by my garden! Ooooh boy, what an eventful beginning to week 14! I took this beast out of the tent for a reservoir change and noticed that she had a few branches hanging below the canopy in the middle of the plant that had a lot of heat damage. 😩 So that haircut she needed turned into a bit of an amputation... I've never dealt with heat damage before, so I don't know what it does to the quality of the bud, but what I DID know was that if I didn't change something, it certainly wasn't going to get any better. I removed 90% of the heat damaged branches, leaving only the branches that had mild damage to the leaves only. Looking at her, she doesn't look like she's missing much of anything, but what she gained was some more space to breathe and to feel the breeze. 😊 If anyone has dealt with heat damage in the past, I'd love to know what you did about it. Did you keep the buds? Ditch em? Are they safe to smoke? Do you think I did the right thing? Every grow throws me so much more to learn about and so many more opportunities for hands on experience dealing with things that I've only ever read about. It's the freaking tits! ✌️💜🌱

I did her first water change on day 10 upped the nutrient dose and increased the reservior to 12 gallons. Gave her the first dose of armor si and humic acid. I topped her on day 12 to start 4 main branches. Will most likely top again and start training in about a week depending on how she wants to grow. The goal is a maximum of 5 weeks veg if they cooperate. They are under 240w qb and a galaxyhydro pulling about 140w for now. Will be adding more qb when I spread the buckets out.

Picking the odd leaf off but it's pretty much just doing its own thing other than having to feed her . She smells really nice with lots of bud sites and has some visable trichome production now .

July 9 Mixed 1 tsp of RAW Grow with 1.25 gallons of water and PH'd to low 6s. Fed about 1 gallon. July 10 New nutrients seemed to take well. Leaves perked back up like usual. July 14 Got some RAW Bloom out for delivery. I think that will help with the yellowing lower leaf tips. Will feed 1 tsp per gallon tonight and will mix in 3 teaspoons of epsom salt too.

I really liked these small cool and bright pots!)) I hope Peinkiller will like it)) especially if you take into account the fact that the peat soil in which she was transplanted was enriched with "BioGrow" from "GreenhouseFeeding"!!! I am using this fertilizer for the first time and I am very interested in how it will be in further its growth and development will advance ..) we will see everything together))👌

7/22 day 43 7/29 end of this week all plants are super healthy.

Tried some lst to get the plants more in the middle. Since this is my first grow I wasn't really sure what I'm doing. Growth seemed to be good in that week. Also added the second Bio Tab Tablet

Was a bit of rain, but she handled it quite nice decided to start LST this week.

I feed water till the day 10 mark now shes had the chop filled the smell proof weed dryer and the was left hung for drying

Definitely happy with the grow and the quality of the smoke

UPDATE - sat 6th March Doing good for first week. The change of light made all the difference. One is a hempy that I am going to add some worm castings and I’m already adding loads of microbes so it should buffer the ph for me. UPDATE - Monday I ordered some worm castings so I can mix it with my coco and perlite, as well as a few other goodies so I can treat a hempy more like a soil grow but get the benefits of the passive hydro system. I’ll probably use around 10%. I’m still waiting for my fan and my microbial product that is made by the same people as charge. It looks great. Loads of ph buffering microbes to munch on the vermicompost and enable me to get away without spending 60-70 on a ph meter.
