Day 17F-24F (Day 19) Man it’s such a shame that bbb#1 stunted out. It was so damn vigorous until it’s most recent feeding. I will make sure to cut back on teas next round as they can be a wild card sometimes. All 5 plants are packing on some serious early frost. But I’m not seeing too much chunk to the buds yet. My other grow that was flipped on the same day has almost no frost yet so that’s a good sign. (Day 21) Big strip today. I will pull off as many leaves as I need to ensure nearly all bud sites are exposed to adequate light. I’m still seeing excess N so I’m going to water in 2 gallons each until I get some runoff. The plants seem to be up taking water pretty decently so I’m going to push it a little with a heavier watering. Wow do the plants look amazing after that strip and flush! Everything is praying up beautifully, including #3 in the back. Let’s hope that gets it back on track now. (Day 22) I want to give a PK boost but all my bloom nutrients have way too much N and I don’t really want to risk it toxing anymore. I could give it a little bit of 0-18-0 bat guano and some 0-0-15 kelp extract but it could be completely unnecessary. I can’t see any signs of deficiencies but a small surplus couldn’t hurt either. (Day 23) I like how the ladies responded to the thorough watering. I will up my watering to 1 gallon every 48 hours from now on. It sucks to see how short bbb#1 is. I was expecting such a huge stretch but it never came because of that fucking tea! I should have leached the medium as soon as I saw stunting. It’s too bad because it definitely had the most potential for yield. (Day 24) I’m starting to think the main problem with bud size this round is all the topping I did early on. Not to mention they were vegging for nearly 3 months. I will try to pick off most of the larf before it wastes anymore energy. I think the ideal style of growing for bud size and veg time is a semi sea of green, or 6-8 plants per 25 square feet. I’m not a big fan of these giant plants as it’s a lot of wasted veg time and smaller bud size overall. The smell is really ramping up!

37 grams and this bud is just covered in crystals, pictures don't do it justice. I smoked some early on but it wasn't the best dry/cure so I will update once I've cured for a couple weeks. Overall I'm super stoked how this grow went, looking forward to growing more fastbuds trees!!

An Tag 41 wurde nochmal getrimmt und kleinere untere Blütenansätze entfernt. Heute ist Tag 45, würdet ihr mehr entlauben ? Tagsüber habe ich leider eine Luftfeuchtigkeit von 52 % mehr holt mein luftentfeuchter durch die vielen kleinen Blätter nicht raus. Nachts denke ich etwas mehr. Day 65 since seed touched soil. Big disaster in garden !!! I added epsom salt and didnt phed , was in a rush to overtime, they dranked in 3 days , that was unexpected .... AK has root damage as rest, but on canopy i found 5 spotted leaves too, reminds calcium .... Hate myself, ph test kit was on table too, prepared, i just f@cked up in rush ... Running out of space. Mars Hydro TSL2000 is doing great job, two plants are like 5 cm away , still no signs of burn. Try to keep humidity in 65-70 % range, temps around 22, nights 20. All works. Will top up this week with next watering, want to give one plain. Wrong Ph led to slow uptake, AK is in limbo, behind couple days by weight, if troubles are bigger than i see now - maybe even 3-4. So sad .... One time wrong ph and you can damage garden heavily ... Close up bud photos were taken under max light, so colours are false. Day 66. Damage is done, see calcium rusty spots around,leaf colour not the best ... At least drinking normally, loaded 5 liters yesterday eve. Hope to do watering and top up this Friday. Day 68. They drink fast, 3 days were needed only. Loaded 5 liters again. Made top up. See bleaching, raised lights , have 10 cm left. Top up was dosed, mixed well and laid on top, then i rough and mix top lair of soil with top up and only then i water. After this week, stretch was over. I was a bit more motivated now, since the plants we looking much better than before, albeit being a bit light in color. Also the Sour Strawberry really surprised me, because a) it had actually caught up and b) the canopy wasn't as bad as I had anticipated, because it had topped itself a couple of times and helped fill in the net. During this week I was a bit hands off, so I did not actually notice the Sour Strawberry's stretch and did not get a chance to really train it into the net, because it grew too quickly and there was almost no room left anyways, due to the GMO taking up so much space. I finally turned on the AutoPots again. This time no pH adjustment. I decided to move defoliation to the next week.

This week i’ve seen the most rapid growth. Was super shocked to see nearly all my plants as tall as me! Some leaves are starting to yellow a bit so next week i will top dress and carry on LST.

V8, supuestamente hoy haría transplante a los maceteros definitivos, pero, hace 3 días que las plantas están presentando hojas débiles y dobladas hacia abajo, en un principio pensé en que podría ser exceso de agua, pero creo que es exceso de nutrientes, básicamente exceso de nitrógeno, ya que las hojas están con un verde muy oscuro y algunas están presentando manchas color café. Así que hoy les hice lavado de raíz, con agua EC 0, hasta que el drenaje fue de cercano a 4 EC. Esperaré unos días a ver si se recuperan, si no, simplemente las eliminaré y empezaré de nuevo, ojalá se recuperen. V9, al final si era exceso de nutrientes/nitrógeno, menos mal que se recuperaron con el lavado de raíces, pensé que morirían, ahora veré como siguen para decidir si hago transplante hoy mismo. V10, se realizó trasplante a macetas definitivas y un riego suave. Las plantas están todavía en recuperación, esperaré unos días más para empezar el LST. V12, riego. V13, se realizó una pequeña defoliación y LST.

Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. 4 cm in 3 days and stretch almost finished, time for production. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. Her smell is lemony and look forward as fuck for this one. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. I watered with juices again at 850ppm because i felt that they need it. Only DsD drank pure water because of burns. Blue Cheese smelling very lemony and citrus. She will be very stinky. Started to fatten. Grow 4cm in 4 days. She likes juices also.

So this final week the buds on this Orange Hill Special are filling out. They are getting rock solid and the calyxes are doing their final swelling. Also, the trichomes have started forming and up close, they are forming a white sticky film over the whole bud. The buds feel heavy and compact, although their size could have been bigger but not complaining with this amount of bud. I have just been feeding some perma tea and clean water since this soil is probably very high in nutes by now. I had some brown leaf points so just adjusted and all was fine. Now we go into the final one or two weeks. I did some final defoliation to expose some underside buds, they are swelling too. Removed some sticky underside larf, kept it in a box to gradually dry for a preliminary taste test coming days. Dienstag war auch für diese Pflanze ein wichtiger Meilenstein – sie ist jetzt ebenfalls im Blüte-Modus und genießt den 12 Stunden Licht- und 12 Stunden Dunkelheit-Rhythmus. Kurz davor habe ich auch hier die Entlaubung vorgenommen, um sie optimal auf diese neue Phase vorzubereiten. Die Wasserzufuhr wurde wie bei der anderen Pflanze angepasst und entspricht nun den Empfehlungen für die zweite Blütewoche. Ich bin wirklich erleichtert, dass das Problem mit dem pH-Wert endlich der Vergangenheit angehört und das System stabil läuft. Diese Pflanze hatte es am Anfang wirklich schwer. Ich hatte sie leider überdüngt, was dazu führte, dass die Blattspitzen verbrannt waren und sie generell recht klein geblieben ist. Aber sie hat sich erstaunlich gut erholt und zeigt jetzt ihre ersten Blütenansätze, was mich sehr freut! Das aktuelle Sorgenkind ist allerdings die Luftfeuchtigkeit. Sie ist momentan leider viel zu hoch, und ich muss mir überlegen, wie ich das am besten in den Griff bekomme. Das ist jetzt meine nächste große Herausforderung.

Week 2- All 4 Cream Cookies are looking good. Very similar looking seeedings at this point. I harvested the larger plants that were in last weeks diary and moved all seedlings under my 315w CMH fixture. The fixture is 24" above the plants. I'm going to keep all 4 indoors in my tent for another week, then move 2 to the outdoor garden. I'd like to see 2-3 nodes before transplanting. I also have 3 gallon self-watering pots ready for transplanting the 2 that are staying in the tent. I've never used self-watering pots before, but 'The Rev' (from Skunk magazine and True Living Organics) swears by them. They don't actually water themselves, I'll still have to add water manually. But there is a reservoir at the bottom for the roots to be able to feed off of. Supposedly, once the root network is established to the bottom I'll be able to add water to the reservoir only. I'm following the Fox Farm feeding schedule, but at 1/2 strength. So this week is Big Bloom only. I also added CalMag and some Recharge. I'm starting another diary in a few minutes for the other plants I have going on. Look for it soon! 😉
