Alien tech is coming along nicely, she is scrog’d with 3 other Ayahuasca Purple and seems to be doing beautifully. She didn’t stretch as much as the Ayahuasca, but I was able to keep the Ayahuasca lower by spreading it more then the Alien Technology. Screen is not perfectly even, but there all within the sweet spot for my 1000w HPS so things should start ramping up soon! Not much else to say this week, just been checking the ph levels and adding 8 gals or so of water/nutrients every 2-3 days to the main reservoir feeding all 4 plants. So far they are good with the same nutrients so that is good! Lol cheers 💨

I took David Robinson's tip a little late " dont grow small flowers" So I took anything that was taking away from the main coals. Of that works out in my favour I will have to find out !! There is a large story behind there fine ladies . But for now let's just say f*ck cancer.

Some significant yellowing a day apart from feeding. Did I give it a nutrition burn by changing the ratios of nutes? I probably should’ve done a flush before feeding.

[ Updates ] Day 16 - I either went one day too long between watering or let them grow too close to the lights, but they're a bit wilty today and a few small signs of light burn on the canopy. I fed today, 100gal mixture, 10-15% runoff total. Also foliared before lights off with a mixture of Humic/Fulvic, Kelp, Silica, and Calmag (1tsp ea p/gal). Lights have been raised to 18 inches off canopy and reduced to 50% power (was at 60%, 6-8 inches from canopy). Assuming they perk up overnight I will raise the light power back up. C02 has been increased to 900ppm on average. I was thinking about topping but both canopies are full and I'd like to flip soon, I'll probably just remove some large fan leaves when they're perked back up. I'll wait to lollipop until a couple days before flip, and I'll wait to put a net in until after flip. I usually veg into a net and build a canopy, however this time I'd like to see what happens if I only use the net for emergency canopy control and bud support. Day 19 - Watered, 800ppm at 6.8ph. 1.3~ gallons per plant. Silica (.5 tsp/gal), Cal-Mag (1 tsp/gal), FF Grow Big (1 tsp/gal), FF Big Bloom (1.5 tsp/gal), and Kelp (.5 tsp/gal). Went heavier on the calmag and nitrogen. Looks like 3 days between watering is the sweet spot again for these 5 gallon pots. Lights are still at 50%. C02 increased to 1000ppm average, this seems to have made a positive impact on the shock the plants had from seemingly being light stressed. Growth is back to normal, at least an inch a day and the canopies are ready to flip. Selectively topped everything that was higher than the general canopy today. Day 20+21 - Lollipopped! Took me two days instead of one this time but I love how they look. I removed everything from the lower 50% of the plant, most growth nodes that aren't at canopy level, and select fan leaves at canopy level that were light blocking. Moved a few pots slightly to help fill in any holes within the canopy. Reduced lights on period to 15 hours on for day 21, will switch to 12 hours tonight to begin flowering. Began brewing a AACT (compost tea) to feed with at beginning of flower.

MAY 20TH - TODAY is the first day the plants wake up from their 18/6 cycle down from 2 weeks at 20/4. They got their first SCHWAZZE and shaping at this stage getting them ready to grow into the beautiful sea of green each of these beds are to become. The uniformity of the clones reminds me how much of this has become muscle memory to me, From doing thousands of plants per grow this has become second nature for me. Started the first top dressing of Gaia Green All Purpose and Power Bloom at a 50/50 ratio of 1tbsp/gal each.

Going onto week 2 of flower! These were taken dec28, so day 8 of flower. So far looking fine though a bit dehydrated. This one definitely is water hungry now and needs to be watered every other day now. We'll see how she comes along into the next few weeks. D6 of this week (d13 of flower), and we can start to see flowers coming in a teensy bit. We are still watering every 2 -3 days. On D7 we did a slightly premature feed of the flower girl fertilizer. 9/16 Day 8: transplanted 3 of them into 1 gallon plastic pots. they werent very rooted but the roots they did have were healthy and thick. will transplant the others as soon as i can. Up potted about half of the tent. i need to set up another tent 9/18 day 10 transplanted the last 2 plants into 1 gallon pots. im reusing soil with them and i dont normally do that. hoping that there arent any random issues to pop up. 9/19 finally numbered the plant's. #1 is the one that's looking more sativa leaning. she has longer petioles or fan leaf stems. Longer, thinner leaves and has stood out from the rest from the very beginning. im going to use the terms indica/ sativa and hybrid as generalized terms. on the other end #5 is super short and tightly spaced nodes. has a more even indica style look to her. #'s 2-4 i have noted as being "hybrid" as in they look to be a mix of both and not on one end or the other such as #1 and #5 are. also onr of the hybrid ones has super thick indica maple leaf style leaves that stands out as well. these are more so for my notes and i understand that these are all technically hybrids 60/40 sativa/indica i believe.

Heeey! 👋 It's week two and everything went quite well I believe! The girls are growing and they look healthy! 💪 During the first days this week and while I was checking them I started to think how I could improve (and fix) what I did in my previous grow, specifically the veg. phase. I wasn't the brightest person in my previous grow because I left the lights at their maximum power during this phase to increase the overall heat of the tent (it was a winter where I live) and while that idea made total sense to me at that time later I found out that was a not the best idea at all 😰. By doing what I did it meant my plants were receiving way more energy they could handle and that meant the plants didn't grow as much as they could 😱😭 So, how could I improve that this time? The best way was to get a PAR meter so I could measure how much light my babies are receiving but those are expensive so the best option after was using the lux meter (or rather the RGB brightness sensor) that's available in my phone (most phones come with one) and by doing that I get a rough idea how much food my babies were receiving (in lux tho, not the best method but it helps to get an idea) 👌 The first days Pistachio and Matcha were getting about 8000 lux and as the week progressed I ended near 18000. Some websites said that amount was acceptable for young plants (they do not talk about the quality of the light tho). For the next week I plan to reach 24000 lux and stay around that 😊 I also think this week I'll move the girls to a slightly bigger pot and with each transplant I'll keep using mycorhizes (Mico Root are mycorhizes) to help the root development. What can I say but wow this is the star of my grow room she has it all , stress tested , heat , cold , drought lol just a monster . The team at dinafem have created some thing special here she eats a lot and has the nicest colour around . Everything must go!!! Day 66 can’t imagine the cheese, the gift, and straw to last much longer. Trellis was removed and you can really tell how heavy some colas are damn near uproots some of plants without the support. I needed to save my trellis ;). Anyways Skittlez in dark period ready to be chopped, tropical fuel is on day 3 of drying and looks to be retaining that “fuel” smell ( no woody buds here!) made some awesome canna butter from the trim of white widow.
