Moderate, controlled increases in sugar support the energetic demands of flowering and act as a signal trigger, but excess sugar is more likely to inhibit flowering or damage the plant. Balance, like everything else. Visually, when the chloryphyll green gets darker, it is a subtle indicator that the concentration of nitrogen is increasing / more is being stored than is being used. I noticed when you push very high intensity lighting, it slowly fades the green as the plant degrades chloryphyll faster than it can be replenished. When the green of the leaf continually gets darker, it is an indication that the concentration levels of nitrogen are increasing, and I dont want to increase light intensity. Turn down the nitrogen faucet. C:N ratio dictates the rate at which nitrification occurs, if at all. Day 70: The Bluedreamatic went to go big and it is all I can do to keep them happy.lol The #1 los girl is yellowing off on her top leaves but had an amendments the other day to try and address it . Could be the intense lighting still but is isn't affecting her badly so fat bud wise. #2 is getting very big mow and needed moving over to a better spot in the room for wider coverage of her budsites. #3 who was inside with the crammed in girls has some very nice fat tops on her canopy and when I look deeper into her body , can see so many developing sites too. She has been moved to a better position too now and should get 2-3 weeks to soak up some lumens. They have been put onto shogun Dragon force and boost for their finish now so let's see if they swell up as I expect they will. I am convinced that these ladies will be heavy yielders by the look of them now. They smell of fresh pineapples when disturbed too. so beautiful. at least 2 weeks to go with them I think. roll on the chubby icy buds.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. Ripening started way faster than anticipated and I started flushing the other Critical at day 46 and she looks like she might be ready at the end of the week.. BUT I'm going to send her all the way to couchlock heaven so I'll probably chop her at the same as the other one which I reckon will be receiving at least one more full-dose nutrient blast and around two weeks of flush but lets see.. I want her to be close to fully finished but not too many ambers since the other one will be majorly overcooked. Didn't put too much effort on this timelapse since my PC is hiccuping pretty darn hard trying to process the camera RAW files to video if I put some effects on them.. wonder why since I got a pretty solid rig with 5950X and 128GB of DDR4-3866 RAM.. damn shitbucket can't handle somewhere around 1.5-2GBps bitrate video realtime😂

Hi everyone :-) This week a lot of nice things happened in the flower tent :-) Everyone looks super nice, and is growing stronger and more beautiful week by week 😍👌. The blue cheese smells like a dream ;-) As usual from this variety 👍. The kosher tangie is also very, very tasty 👏🏻. Both got Pk 13/14 this week for the last time :-) Everyone else is developing very well 👍, That will be the last diary with several strains together :-) In future everyone will come individually 👌. Week 9 .......... Flower Week.........June 6 to 12, 2020 ........ Days 57 to 63 from germination She took a lot of shape this week and buds are swelling. She has reacted well with Massive and has increased her nodal spacing. Now she needs to work bulking up and filling in that spacing😀👍 A little more leaf strip at the end of the week to let more light into the middle of her. Focussed on the leaves on the inside of her and left a number of the fan leaves on the perimeter of her to help with sugar production. Her hairs have never really been long but the buds are swelling in nicely. They started off a little small but have grown a lot wider in the last week.......as expected in week 9. Starting to see some possible nutrient issues forming as she is aging and some of her leaf tips are starting to curl down a bit. Red hairs have started so we should be less than three weeks to go and guess at roughly 2 weeks to go. Will be feeding next week but that might be the end......see what the week brings. Environment has been hovering at 79 degrees and 61 percent humidity for most of the week. Yeast and sugar CO2 in use. Still feel there is going to be trade off battling the pH issues of the pots by feeding her 4.5 water and feed. I have to keep it that low to have a runoff of 6.6pH🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪 Going to start letting the pH drift higher the next couple of days though and give a couple of waterings at 5.6 to ensure she is taking up enough phosphorus and potassium. The frost coming out on this girl now but she is a little slower coming on. Anticipate the last two weeks here should see good frost coming out. Have not even really looked at it too much yet to be honest. Changed up some of the supplements this week and added in some Advanced Nutrients Big Bud and Overdrive. Always liked Overdrive and when moving the bottles had more than I realized so figured I would change it up a bit......she is already fighting pH issues so no further harm. She is a very pretty little girl and she has beautiful shape. Not bending over her top seems to have been okay for this girl. Just keeping the side branches pulled apart so the light gets done the middle to bud sites😃 Nice work Sweet Seeds.....she is looking great so far.........freaking resilient dealing with pH so high!!!!!!!!!🙏🙏 Little more detail: June 6, Day 57 VPD - 1.2 3L feed - Big Bud, Vitathrive, Rezin, Liquid Weight, Velokelp, CalMag, Dual Fuel. 1150ppm and 5.0pH.......pH little higher today. Lots of runoff as fed late last night. Keep an eye to see the result of the higher pH. Colas more defined today. Standing up nice and looking thick today. Fairly green though so keep and eye on the nute levels. June 7, Day 58 VPD - 1.2 7L water - 285ppm and 4.4pH......checking pH in medium Runoff was 580ppm with 6.8pH Hairs are whiter now and buds are wider and stacking. June 8, Day 59 VPD - 1.2 Dry out day....... She is dark and bushy. June 9, Day 60 VPD - 1.2 4L Feed - Sensizym, Rezin, Vitathrive, Liquid Weight, Massive, Terpinator, Dual Fuel. 1150ppm and 4.2pH.......pulling down a little more since last runoff number. Fair bit of runoff from the feed. Starting to fatten up a bit more.....branches are looking larger. June 10, Day 61 VPD - 1.2 3L Feed - Overdrive, Rezin. 485ppm and 4.5pH Just some supplements and feed tomorrow. Her side branches are reaching up more and increasing the nodal spacing. Now she needs to fill that gap in😃👍 Noticing a pattern with Massive and nodal spacing????? June 11, Day 62 VPD - 1.2 Dry out day....... June 12, Day 63 VPD - 1.2 4L Feed - Terpinator, Overdrive, Rezin, Vitathrive, Sensyzime, Liquid Weight, Dual Fuel. 1380ppm and 4.5pH Hitting her and Sweet n Sour harder as they get closer to the end. She is 19” tall now and 24” wide Leaf strip to increase light penetration......lots of small leaves. Tricomb production getting going now. Nice little Cannabis plant😋😋😋

Low maintenance. Just watered this week with cal-mag'd water. Trichomes still nice and cloudy. Harvest is close.

Stipped giving them seaweed. Spraying with baking soda and liquid soap mix once more. Theres little bit of powdery mildew but I defoliated those parts. They probably have stopped strenching. Now the flowers have began growing alot.
