I removed a couple fan leaves and immature undergrowth. It's been a couple weeks in flower and no bud sites formed yet. I'm surprised. This strain must have a longer growth cycle over 9 weeks. Or she's just a late bloomer. Her pistils and first small bud sites are coming out after a bit over 2 weeks in flower. It is very bushy and thirsty so I trimmed it. This strain is showing less heat stress than the predecessor under the same light.

Week 8 is the final flush. They’ll get 1 tsp per gallon of ph’d water for the rest of their lives. They’ll get chopped whenever the trichomes appear mostly cloudy with a little bit of amber.

Sadly Zkittlez #2 will no longer be with us. I had to make an executive decision to remove her. I really wasn't sure what was going on. I noticed that her stem were extremely soft and really sticky with a strong chemical like smell. Being that her stem were extremely soft, I could see how any buds would be able to grow. Since the other three girls were in late bloom and doing extremely well I didn't want to jeopardize their progress in late bloom. She was only a week younger than her sisters. R.I.P. Zkittlez #2

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. going fine. that tip bleaching is here to stay :) i’m defoliating and lollipopping everyday. couple of leaves here couple of leaves there a growth tip here a side shoot there.. watered yesterday with 3.5l or something. distilled dehum water. caribe transitioned too fast. it didnt give me any stretch which was strange and cannalope as expected hasnt even started transitioning. i think caribe is gonna be overshadowed by the cannalope. dinachem looks lighter in the photos but its not really that light green in color. dinachem x peyote cookies gave me more stretch than i expected but seed runs are always full of surprises haha they both finished stretching atm so they will start filling up in the coming weeks. destroyers are fine too. yeah tip bleached a bit but leaves are very healthy otherwise. they feel soft and firm which is how they should feel. i’m plucking 10-20 leaves daily and it grows back the next day. they may give me a couple days of stretch but its not gonna grow much more than this. its not gonna double from here i mean and the 2nd destroyer is gonna be about 25% smaller than the 1st because as i mentioned not identical clones when transplanted but i’m still expecting exceptional yields and quality from both. ‘till next week!

The Permanent Markers are finally taking off! They've at least doubled in height since last week. Of course, they're still really small, but it's cool to see them finally getting going. They look healthy and are developing nicely. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025. We have a new girl with suggestive references: Lavender is in fact a fantastic plant, widely used in human history for various purposes, with a purple color that no one can escape. Creating a lavender-flavored plant is a great idea and we want to enjoy it soon. The plant grows well, the leaves are regular and very turned towards the light, it is very proportionate even I don't see stretching, bending and things that don't convince me. Soon we start with the grow. The girls have already been trashed in 11 lt jars because the biodegradable jars have started to decompose prematurely, no problem let's go to the ground, Power Roots for root fertilizing.
