Ultimately I want to go full organic but time is life's richest commodity, so it will probably be a few seasons before I get their. Also I don't have a drying setup which is a problem for this next run which is in week-1 rn (I go week one staring veg in my calendar). For drying / curing, I'm looking at fitting out a second hand wine fridge as I cant spend heavy on the Cure Puck or any of those auto fridge setups. Who knows maybe they come down in price. 44oz of plant food mix is given to 5 plants (3- Colombian Gold, 2- Grandaddy Purple). All 3 of the Alcapulco Gold plants are still receiving pH balanced water- no nutrients. They’re measuring 10” tall. Colombian Gold and Grandaddy Purple measurements range from: 12.5”-18.5”

La alegria que se palpita es mucha! Siempre soñe con tener cogollos oscuros y esta es la primera vez! Es notable la diferencia entre la planta fertilizada con namaste y la de feeding, aunque con este solo utilize el Grow y el Booster. Esta ultima tiene un aroma mas plano, sutil, pero gana en volumen. En cambio con la que utilize namaste destaca mas la precencia de ese aroma como a frutos del bosque, dulce y terroso. A comienzos de pre flora aparecieron unos gusanos verdes que se multiplican muy rápido. La mayoria la elimine a mano, pero lo ideal es utilizar jabon potasico + Aceite de neem para eliminarlos inmediatamente.

Craaazyyyy weeks Craaazyyyy growth Loving it AAALLLL Ok, so, this is the 5th week. Plants started flowering during 4th. They've had massive growth (from my perspective and experience 😅😅) and started to smellll I think I was consistent on that LST. Always trying to give all the heads as much light as possible. It was a lot of work, but I still loved it. Having 2 plants makes it more fun because I need to have a diferent point of view for each one. S has been toped, and with LST I was able to have lots of heads very well positioned B is responding marvelously to bending, wich makes it hard to bend because THERE IS NO MORE ROOM TO RUN TO 😂 she is growing a lot, and there's just to much leaves to tuck... As I was saying they're different, wich I am loving I decided to defoliate them as my last stress move towards the plants. Cutted the leaves that were on the bottom and covering the top heads, and the very small, tiny, thiny side branches. I am lowering the LST to minimum. Since the heads I chose, now have space and LIGHT to grow at will, I want to not disturb them as much as I can. You can see that when I defoliated them, there was light on the soil. And just in 1 day difference, even at this point, you almost can feel them grow! I was amased, because of the stress I had caused them. Yet, look with attention, you can spot the differece. (I hope you can see it too through the screen, because it's real 😅) Look at the S. She is doing just greaaaaat. Think it was a good decision to top her. Hope it keeps growing as it is! Smell is increasing Day 30 changed the light to 24h ON. Day 31 - Heads bigger - !QUESTION! -I always water the plants simultaneously. B's vase is noticeble heavier. Cant understand why... I'm going to start checking if they need to be watered at different times. I can only imagine that the root system is different, due to its "differences outside". But really! They have suffered different stress at different times... different root system = different drainage? Food for thought Day 32 Defoliated them because I thought they were too bushy. Felt like it maybe was a mystake, later, due to some recommendations i read... Nothing much to report, some tight buds are starting to form Week 4 day 4, the buds are definitely starting to take shape, and the trichomes are forming on the sugar leaves, pistils are still mostly light colored. I cant wait to watch these buds chunk up over the next few weeks.

2/19 Week 8 Controlling the stretch somewhat by keeping strong blue light in the spectrum. Wont start flower under HPS again, will wait till stretch has finished. The FFt-7 seem to respond most to this, the FFt-5 not as much but still slowed down. Major day coming Saturday everyone back into one tent and that undergrowth is getting trimmed! Driving me nuts Wont need to worry so much over height at that point. Adding that small amount of PK has really spurred a lot of bud growth, looks like the guys knew what he was talking about. 2/21 Could not wait so... Lower End Defoliation Day! Really starting to fatten up. Was originally going to harvest along with the StrawberryBanana but she's looking like shes going to need a few more weeks. Looking back to 2 weeks ago it's night and day. Going to wait until I see more red hairs develop. Still mostly long and white so I think it needs more time despite the 7 week flowering time they say. last week I decided to hold back flushing for a week now I think I'm going to hold back another week I don't want to cut this plant short.

This week has gone fine except for one thing which I’ll come to later on. Still stretching, canopy par level is 900 on average and I don’t have any way of getting the lights up further. Hoping the intense light will slow the stretch down a bit but we will have to wait and see. Worst case I’ll have to dim the lights down a bit. That leads me onto the mystery of this week. The nearly dead plant. I have no idea why it has gone so limp. You can kind of see on the photo lapse how quickly it collapses. Incase it’s some kind of disease I’ll give it another day in there. If it doesn’t recover I’ll have to pull her out and try to train the other plants over her empty spot so I don’t waste any light. EC is around 1.2-1.5 atm, the highest dose I’ll be giving them will be week 4 and 5 of flower when the buds seem to do the most weight gains (visually). Canopy is actually quite even if you overlook the hole in the canopy, maybe a couple inches between highest and lowest. Anyway, thanks for checking in guys, if anyone has any thoughts/comments about the dead plant let me know as I’m struggling to find answers online. 😊
