Ms Mia Wallace went to town and blew the f up. Lots of leaf growth but no sign of bud spots- I know it’s early days tho. Watered with half serving of bloom nutes. Not the ideal nute mix I think, but served me well last grow. Also, as I turned up the light to max power, I noticed heat stress so i turned it down and successfully installed the worlds most eco friendly trellis - one minute- hockey net - next minute - weed trellis. It’s called upcycling boys and girls. I know it’s shit, I’m gonna reinstall it one more 1/4 ass so it’s a full half-ass scrog. Point is, the canopy is flat, pushed that puppy down so there’s more distance. Light back to 100%. Humidity was a little higher under the canopy, even with the dehumidifier, so I put my inline fan back in (was just a booster in-line fan before) and the temp and humidity is dropping. Saw a little bug. Hit the top & bottom canopy layer with light neem oil spray then incecticidle soap. I saw a small critter so I put Diatomaceous Earth on a upside down Tupperware lid. Don’t know if that works. Last time I did a top coat of the stuff on top of the soil - something happened and bad nute burn. Anyone know anything about this? Finally, also tied down a bunch of branches to let the light hit the lower areas. Also, i removed some lower buds to improve light penetration and distruibution, she seems to answer well to that! close to harvest have milky trichromes all over the place but only 4th week of flower some ambers too. buds getting thicker by the day . can she be ready after the fourth week? gonna try for better trichromes shots i know spelling is off but its ok

I don’t know if it’s the rapid stack pots combined with the rain science grow bags, or the green planet nutrients but these autoflowers are huge at 54” tall. The largest I’ve ever grown indoors. I’ve always wanted to grow a purple pheno and now that moment has come. These autos are going to be show stoppers!!! I’ve very excited to share with you all.

This little lady is a little slow growing but thats fine by me she’s doing a great job and looking very nice I’m splitting the main arms very nice and her under nodes are starting to really get the light and flourish how they should be :) 🌱 💜💜

This is week 9, and I’ve started dialing things down as we approach the final stage. I reduced the light intensity to around 600–650 PPFD to keep things a bit softer towards the end of flowering. From here on, it’s just a matter of maintaining stable conditions until harvest time 🌸✂️💪

1/8/2024: so far the grow is not off to a great start. The browning that started on the cotyledon has spread to the other leaves and her growth has definitely slowed a bit. I used some water that sat out for a few days, so that may have been the issue, but I'm not sure why that would cause a problem. The ph was at 6.2. I also foiler fed them with some Tweetmint, which i think is the issue. I may hav3 not diluted it enough, causing the buring. I'm laying off anymore IPM until the olants bounce back. I also turned the lights down until i can get the plants back on track. It may just be the soil is too hot, but I have other plants in different soil that are showing the same symptoms, so it makes me think it's not the soil. I'm not giving up yet, but if things don't improve soon, I may just pop a new seed. This is my biggest issue with auto flowers. If the grow isn't perfect I could end up stunting the plant too much. I guess we will find out. 1/10/2024: Day 10 - the new growth is coming in healthy. I'm pretty sure the foiler spay I used last week is what caused the issue. I went back and realized I used way more of the concentrate than I should have, which likely burned the leaves. Let's hope that is the only mistake I make on this grow and it doesn't stunt the plant too much. 1/14/2024 - Day 14: she is looking so much better. All the new growth is as healthy as can be. I added a new light today. Replaced the Spider Farmer SF2000 with the AC Infinity Ionboard S44. I originally had the S44 in my 4x4, but recently bought a light with more Watts and better coverage for the 4x4. The S44 is probably overkill for the 2x4, but it fit, so I figured I'd give it a try. Only have it on at 60% at the moment and I'm getting about 500 ppfd, with a DLI of 30. Dropped the light cycle down to 18 on and 6 off as well. I have some photo period plants in the 2x4 as well, and I wanted to shift them to 18/6, so the auto is going along for the ride.
