When you don't get what you want you get experience, This was a lack luster grow in that I was really expecting a huge yield with the scrog. but the facts are, it was my first time with this strain and sativa dominate as well, the light died the over feeding in late flower and not letting the plant tell me when it was done and in my opinion chopping to early made the perfect storm 3 LBS. wet they dried for 10 days at 70F and 50% RF and all that water weight went with it, SI#1 1lbs 4 oz wet SI#1 56gm buds 50gm larffy trim SI#2 1lbs 2 oz wet SI#2 26gm buds 41gm larffy trim SI#3 1lbs 3oz wet SI#3 20gm buds 42gm larffy trim TOTAL 3 lbs 9oz wet TOTAL 102 gm buds 133gm larffy buds

Day 49 The plant is now 49 days old and showing strong, healthy growth. The canopy is filling out nicely with wide, vibrant green fan leaves. The larger fan leaves are a deep healthy green, while the newer growth in the center shows a slightly lighter shade, indicating fresh development. The plant structure looks bushy with multiple tops forming, suggesting that training (possibly LST or topping) has been applied earlier to encourage a more even canopy and multiple bud sites. The side branches are stretching upwards, and the plant appears to be responding well to the training. No major signs of deficiencies or stress are visible. The leaves are well-shaped and the color looks balanced, with no obvious spotting or yellowing. The growth is compact, suggesting the internodal spacing is fairly tight, which is good for building a strong structure for flowering. At this stage, the plant is likely close to transitioning fully into the flowering phase, if not already showing early signs. The canopy is well spread and light penetration looks decent, but a bit more defoliation might help later to open up airflow and light access to lower bud sites. Overall, the plant looks vigorous, healthy, and ready for the next stage of development.

Day 42

Day 77 i turned off the lights at 10 pm Friday and started my ice water flush and 48 hrs of darkness. i have not done ice water flush before, the theory is that the harsh cold forces the plant to build more trichomes to better prepare for pollination its an easy thing to do and takes no extra time so why not try it the water ppm is 435 and the first round run off was 1139 ppm second round of flush 789 ppm. the reason for 2 rounds of flush is in the first flush round the nute's latch onto the water and the second washes them away. i wait 15-20 min between flushes. that's it for today's update keep your stick on the ice Day 78 not much to say really water ppm is at 435 and runoff of round one for the day is 621 i will update with round 2 in an hr. UPDATE: ok so round 2 leaves it at 521 ppm Day 79 ok ppl this is the last day before harvest no water just ice ( i know it melts but its not much water lol ) oddly after over 48 hrs in the dark i have seen no change in the color of the plant it does not matter but i was hoping lol i took some pics for your viewing pleasure

Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. 11/3/ 2021 I checked the Trichomes still Crystal

12/15: Some plants are taking too long to transition and stretching beyond my space constraints, so I dialed the photoperiod back to 12/12. 12/16: Fed today and rotated edge plants. Added another 150w of 3000k below the canopy. 12/17: Worked on ventilation...no A/C necessary now, as I'm using another AC Infinity 6" fan to intake outdoor air into the closet whenever temps reach 75f..and it's been cold as hell outside.👍 The final trick will be to replace the 6" exhaust fan with an 8" so as to be able to fully exchange the closet air faster ...but that's gonna have to wait til next season.

Day 36 I guess I can call it bloom. Nice strong pistils shooting all over. She is the tallest so far making me raise my lights a little more. Day 38 Now Californian Snow is the tallest :) Ztrawberry stopped at a perfect height, it looks like she's gonna develop into a beautiful lady. Fat white pistils all over 😻 Day 39 Happy girl got 2500ml cm bg bb bh 6.3ph ~1EC She is perfect, symmetrical, stopped stretching at about 50cm, flowers are mostly leveled, branches are strong, leaves point up unless I water. I think she's also turning purple. Beaut 😻 Day 42 I think I saw some burnt tips but she still looks super happy and healthy. The most vigorous plant I've had.

Feb 14, 2018: Seems my fears were unfounded, I'm not seeing any spots of mildew and I think in 4 days I would see something if it was there. Water with plain water, just ph'd nothing else added. staked up a couple of the buds, all the other palnts are managing to hold each other up, the fan leaves seem to grow into each other so the canopy is a solid moving mass. When the oscillating fan hits the colas the whole canopy sways slightly. For future grow I plan to have more space between plants, and will need a screen/net to hold everything up. Feb 12,13 2018: Watered with 10ml/Gal Tiger Bloom, 10ml/Gal Big Bloom, 2tsp blackstrap molasses, 1ml Cal-Mag per gallon. Ph'd to 6.5 ish. Lost my SD card so didn't get any photos 2/12, but took some with my phone on day 73, and then found my SD card. High quality photos are back tomorrow mourning. Feb 11, 2018: Had a bit of a freak out, thought i had spotted a couple PM spots forming, think it was just the leaves resinous sticky. After the scare decided to do some major cleanup of old leaves and ALL dead leaves, i know it wont help fight PM, but added a small 6" fan circulating air below canopy. Humidity has been constant due to running a dehumidifier so it stays between 45-50 lights on and off.

The plants seem to have recovered from nute lockout in week 6-7. The sour looks to be finishing soon waiting on mircoscope to look at trichomes. The sour is getting frosty with a strong lemon/ pin/citrus smell! Thumbs up to @Dinafem 👍 great genetics. The BCN Critical is a beast very resistant! The plant is about 4ft tall, healthy, growing slower then the sour probably because of the size. Exactly what was advertised👌 @seedstockers, can't wait to see how these girl smoke.

Day 40 from seed ( 3 in flower). To sat they had a slow start these BlackBerry are surging ahead now. Only # 2 seems to be smaller now. The pale # 3 is still gaining size with no signs of stopping at all, she has a lot of sites around her that need a pin down now they are long enough to reach pot edge.
