~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 2/2- Here we go Week Nine! These ladies are past the 60 day mark since breaking ground and are in the home stretch! The 2 phenotypes are about equal in flower development. Their flowers are densely stacked and have a beautiful purple and pink hue contrasted by numerous bright orange pistils that are showing. The #2 is a beast with wide spread branching and plentiful bud sites! The #1 has had her issues and is a markedly different phenotype, but she's LOADED with some absolutely phenomenal flowers! It never fails that all the plants I've grown that experienced some sort of major issue have all turned out to be stellar! I'll keep rubbing my rabbits foot! 😎 Daily watering with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which is ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ continues as these girls stay thirsty! 2/4- Yesterday I watered today with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. I also removed some shade leaves that had begun to yellow and checked trichomes on the #2... not yet. 🔎 2/6- This evening I put the #1 phenotype in the dark after checking her trichomes which were right where I want them at this point. She'll spend 48-72hrs in the dark with a fan on her and I'll also maintain the moisture in her pot so it doesn't dry out. I watered today, removed some shade leaves from the #2's canopy and turned her pot. The 2202 testers really look absolutely AMAZING and I can't wait to see them when they finish up! 🤩💚 2/8- Well, the #1 is hanging peacefully drying slowly at 64℉ @ 60% RH and should be ready to trim in 6-8 days +/-. The #2 is absolutely beautiful with her purple coloration getting more pronounced as she fades! I'll be putting her in the dark in the next 2-3 days to spend 48-72hrs before she gets cut and hung! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! day 73 I was not ready for all this! 🤣🤣 they literally exploded, even though the buds of El Patron are much thinner than the purple queen I have in my tent, I had to tie them up so that the weight of the flowers didn't break the branches. I raised the EC to ~2000, lowered ORP to ~100 and didn't see any tip burn yet, will observe the plant and might increase it even more, haven't grown this strain yet. No smell yet. Roots are looking good, maybe a little stained due to Universol Yellow which has a strong yellow color. Did more LST and defoliation, with the stretch I might reach the frame for Scrog next week? So I noticed a mutation that has been there for a while but I only noticed it this week, this plant is giving me a little headache with the slow growths on top and mutations but mid week it started to grow more, maybe it is coming back right now since the roots are doing good from start and the plant laid a good foundation before it takes off now? I had worse starts with great results. Since stretch definitely started mid week and flowering is starting I will count it as flower mid week but will mark is as flower on GD starting next week. Also added predator mite pouches as precaution, better safe than sorry. Values are average of the day. 2020-08-17 Beginning of Week 9 of flowering! Wow! The buds in the middle are getting super frosty now and I noticed that I had some colas that had dipped below the light canopy. They're now back up on top! I am still giving nutrients as I don't see many amber trichomes yet but I am going into the tent without the LEDs on to take some more updated pics. Don't wanna miss my window as I prefer to be stimulated instead of sedated by cannabis. Hoping this strain delivers. IF anyone wants to comment on the 'readiness' of my buds for flushing (or not flushing) please leave a comment or message me! 2020-08-23 Updated with this week's entire set of pics! Trying to take more with the lights off and just the flash to capture the trichomes. Looks like the sugar leaves have more amber trichomes. I've been advised by at least one person that it's time to harvest. Still looking for more opinions! Cheers.

Day 28: Welcome to week 5 start , the ladies are killing it in the house !!!!. These strains are amazing growers all round. While building the framework for their flowering period they responded well and agreed to stay put with a bit of tying down and supercropping. Since that point and flipping to flower , they set off sending every possible budlet to the canopy top. I felt bad stripping so many hopefuls out and reduced their numbers quite a bit all round. The remaining buds are the most stacked and lonely to be worthy of drying. FFT#1 Looked a little sparse after her strip with not too many mains to show for her age but the last few days have changed my concerns as she has put it all into the others rapidly. Bud stacking is nice and close but I have left some of the skinny stacks on the outer edge to fill out too.She needs the help !. FFT#5 is showing #1 how to force your way into the best position !!!. It is a nice sized plant for a limited height grow room. The training of these is a must if your per plant yield is to be achieved in my opinion. She has responded perfectly to the lst and bending and her lower framework has produced a lot of very workable mains. FFT#7 Still continues to be the biggest in the house and is looking very tightly stacked. Like #5 , she has some chunky little buds to create baseball bat colas. The main stem at the soil is so thick and bulbous now that I will need a chainsaw for harvesting. They are all producing frost and oil when rubbed a little and there are distinctive smells between them that are familiar and range from fruity to sour ish diesels. Seeing their size now with another possible 4weeks to go at least , 2 of which will be bud swelling weeks , fills me with hope of a great harvest from these winning genetics . I will be a buyer of these strains when released without a doubt. Roll on the other 9 to try out. Until next week , stay safe and sane , enjoy the family/Home time.

The bigger plant is pumping well although it could do better given its indica genetics but that's okay... I think they do not give their best because of the lighting that does not reflect well D:, next cycle I will gear up a little bit better

Fattys are growing and seem to be thirstier.Used foliar spray to help the leaves and also started tucking. When the plant was topped pistils were seen for first time.
