Sorry I couldn't get better pictures but I'll try again tomorrow. This strain certainly deserves it. Very low leaf to bud ratio on this plant. Dark pink or orange stigmas retracted into the buds as they finished and one pheno had the densest nugs I've ever grown. This year realky showed me the difference of quality seeds compared to "local" clones. After a rainstorm on the large fluffier pheno I found a "trapped" bumblebee inside one of the massive colas. I had to help it out. It was literally "stuck" due to the resin. This strain had the most pleasant aroma that stuck with the finished product. Due to the small amount of leaf to bud ratio this plant was a breeze to trim. That being said I still don't have it ALL manicured up but I'm working on it. All plants seemed fairly pest resistant as well. If you enjoy indica strains (90/10) with short flowering times than this should certainly be on your "to grow list." Having these plants totally finish before October was very helpful. According to many local growers (both patients and commercial growers) this was "the worst year for growing cannabis in memory." I've had the best year I've had in decades (probably ever) both quality and quantity wise.

D42 Defoliation is limited for what I did last night, I literally deforested, I did it because the humidity was sky high and the vegetation was too thick covering so many peaks,,, the fascinating thing is that they recovered within the night, if I may say that 6 hours of darkness relax the plants just as if they were on vacation.

this week is a bit frustrating im having some small issue with root rot im off to the store to buy some drip clean from house and garden and ill be doing a water change today i will also topped them after fourth set of leaves day 7 system flush and cleaned. adjusted ppm to 750 i will be using sterile rez from now on as i dont want to battle with pythium. added drip clean and peroxide 30% as suggested by my local hydro store now water looks pristine onto week 5 tomorow.

The Tropicana Cookie is an awesome strain with a great sweet and woody aroma. I had some issues in the beginning with the development and the grow of the plant but she bounced back. She got cut today and put to dry.

11.12: realized i overwatered them so they get a dry treatment 13.12: happy ACAB Day! The consequences of overwatering are showing :/ i will still wait 2 days until the soil has really dried put before i water them again. Looking, beside some yellow leaves, very good tho imo! Also i LST‘ed them for the first time myself 😎 14.12: more LST and fertilizer 8). My grow guru came over and i learned alot. More updates soon!

10.06.2023 RACCOLTO_RED HOT COOKIES Sweet Seeds 🌱 142 giorni dal seme 🌼 70 giorni fioritura ⚖️ 2895 grammi non secchi totale di 4 piante Tutto è andato per il meglio in questa corsa. Le 4 piante di Red hot cookies si sono dimostrate veramente forti. Colori stupendi a fine fioritura, non rossi come speravo, profumo di terra, dolcezza e aspro mescolati con note di gas, un profilo terpenico molto interessante. Lo scrog effettuato da me, non credo abbia dato il massimo potenziale di queste piante, con il tempo migliorerò anche questo aspetto, ma spero di stare su 1 hg a pianta di media. Aggiornamento a breve con peso a secco, foto dei fiori ripuliti e rapporto sulla potenza di questa varietà. Ringrazio tutti quelli che sono passati a vedere il mio diario, a tutti i like i commenti e ai consigli.. un grande love a tutta la community di growdiaries 💚🙏

Day 71 from seed the plant seems to be coming along nicely and flowering stretch has come to a end . I cut some of the lower branches that were carrying some flower because there was no way they were going to develop on time with the higher branches because of lack of light penetration at that lower level and since nothing well happened to those lower branches she can start concentrating her effort and energy on to the higher buds. Interesting note with this girl has been that she has stretch constantly up to this point therefore not putting a lot of effort on building up those flowers that makes me hope that when she starts putting Wight in those flowers they are going to be beautiful. This plant was healthy and strong from the get go! She quickly grew in height surpassing all other plants around her. Left me scratching my head a bit considering she was only in a one gallon tester pot. She formed a main cola early on and fat buds on the end of each branch. She didn’t really have the classic cheese smell I love and remember, but it was still nice, more on the flowery side. BOHOLD…. The cheese smell has really started to shine through now that she’s been drying almost a week. It’s a deep cheesy/sour mix of funky goodness. Can’t understand where it’s come from as she smelt nothing like this while growing. She was harvested in day 79 and her buds where rock solid and covered in sticky goodness. Easy to grow, would recommend to anyone who has the space and time. Il do an update once she’s dried and had a few weeks curing. 🌱💚
