As every one says, less is more with nutrients! I think I got a bit excited as it was my first grow. Already leaves my lesson and my outdoor photoperiod girls are looking great ! Check out the diary:) can’t fault it really. Minimal effort and minimal cash spent! Got just under half an ounce of product and bearing in mind I had to throw some of the buds away due to bud rot! I think another week of flush would have been great for them to!

Cold week, not sunny weather and the damages from the spray I used is more visible. But we will see if not it will get back in good shape soon, that’s the hope atleast 😄

I finally got them in the garden! It was a trip getting out there, so they don't look the greatest because they're stressed. I made a video explaining almost everything except I forgot to mention that I added about 5-10% Biochar in with the Fox farm potting soil. Also, the row cover will protect against pests.

2nd Week of Flower! I think? Looking back on my calendar and pics on my phone that we’re never uploaded, my guess is, we are on second week. These pics and video are from August 11th, day 75 post germ. It’s also very possible the two big gurls began flowering at different ends of the week. The nutrients used this week were applied once during day 76. In addition with a thick top dressing comprised of the following: [insert composition here] [Mushroom Compost as base media, dolomite lime, gypsum, muriate of potash, triple super phosphate, kelp meal, bone meal, seabird guano, Texas Greensand, black soldier fly insect frass, Earthworm Castings!, neem cake, bat guano] Stuff like the triple super phosphate and muriate of potash were used in very small amounts. But I used them to increase the density of available phosphates and more importantly for the available potash. Keeping it small because I know the microbes don’t like stuff at those density levels. Will be compensating with a little extra molasses. The weather has improved to sunny most the day with afternoon clouds breaking the hotter section, opening back up for a bright evening and sunset. The average high has been 86F during the day, while dropping to 54F during the night. The coming week is forecasted an average refreshing high of only 78F with nights not much cooler, still averaging at 54F! The increase in afternoon moisture levels is playing a huge role in this grow. Helping to maintain a better VPD for these Ladies while shortening the range of temperature flux from day and night. I know 54F sounds cold, but this is the high desert at 7,000 feet elevation. Pure Indica x Blueberry measures an impressive 49” Tall while Planet of The Grapes x Blueberry measures in at 34” Tall

This week, i transplanted the girls to the final pots. I' ve just realized that autopot has 8,5l pots for my trays so I ordered some. I prefer smaller pots to my previous 15ls. So, they are in 8,5l autopots with air domes on the bottom. Around 5cm of aqua pebbles on the bottom too, prewashed and soaked in 5,8 ph water. Then coco mixed with aqua pebbles around 66:33. I watered them thoroughly with my aptus line. The lights are changed from 2 led t5's to my single 320w led bar for now. I ' let them veg for at least two weeks and we will see how it goes. Cheers!

Week 9 and doing fine!

OVERALL: ~ Very happy with the grow, I really dialled everything in well this run. ~ She grew super fast, I put it down to the constant oxygenation of the rootzone along with consistent and constantly optimized light DLI and leaf to air temp variance. The extra Co2 helped push the plant to its limit in terms of heat, allowing it to push its hardest. ~ The lack of HST and Defoliation I feel let it finish faster due to lack of stress and stunting. The faster finishing time along with the big yield and efficient MarsHydro light, it hugely reduced my electricity costs per gram and freed up space much sooner for the next plant. ~ Turned into a very dense bush of buds, there is even smokable dense buds at the base of the plant due to the under canopy lighting (Not as dense as top canopy buds but still decent) ~ Ran a thin line between stressing the plant and letting it flourish. The buds came out big and very dense, also it's hard to see on camera but they're very frosty too (Prob from UVB) YIELD: ~ 145g (dry) in just 9 weeks from seed. ~ 753g (Wet) ~ 0.91g/watt GENETICS: ~ MSNL - Gorilla Glue Auto ~ my favorite strain, as you can tell by my username! STRAIN REVIEW: ~ Heavy hitter, like an indica but has some of that "feel it in your face" sensation of a strong sativa. Not as heavy or as strong as other GG#4's I have smoked, which would make me question the genetics used to produce the auto version. I will wait till after a cure and judge it again. TRAINING: ~ No defoliation or HST (Bar last week for pics) ~ A little LST and leaf tucking but largely just left the plant alone to do its thing. I felt chopping healthy parts off the plant would slow the plant down and leave it with less chlorophyll to photosynthesize the light. ~ I did prune by lightly plucking dead leaves away, when the plant was ready to let them go easily. DRYING ~ 20/21'C 50% RH with air circulation. ~ Homemade Drybox made using: 2 x Bankers Boxes ~ 2 x USB Desk Fans ~ 1 x Carbon Filter ~ 6 x Clothes Hangers UPDATE: Day 5 after Harvest: ~ Fast dried some small batches, as we couldn't wait to sample. ~ Chopped off branches as some are down to 12% moisture whilst bigger buds are up at 18%. Moving to paper bag for couple of days to even moisture out then transferring to jars CURING: ~Curing in jars 3/4 full. ~ Dark closet/18'C/50% RH ~ Jars burped once Hygro passes 65% and sealed when it drops to 58%. ~ Stabilised it at 62% and after 2 weeks I'll drop it some more and stabilise it at 58% to bring out more of the flavour. ~Sitting in jars with Boveda 62% at this stage. ~ Already tastes and feels great. Growing good. Trying to get fungus gnats under control. They are really loving this plant in particular. Giving mammoth p this week.

6 1/2 weeks into flower and they are packing on weight big time now. Giving them bloom booster and molasses and water. Will stop the bloom booster this weekend since I want them to have plenty of time to flush out. The girls are drinking a phenomenal amount at the moment, they are drinking every drop I'm giving them. Getting a bit of yellowing on the lower leaves BUT that is to be expected this close to harvest. Other than that they are very healthy. Uploaded a short video showing some of the ladies. This has been without a doubt the EASIEST grow I have ever done and it looks like the yield will be quite respectable.

11/12 start of week 3 of flower hoping she is done stretching cus I'm out of room when it comes to height. Gave all the goodies plus added Fulpower and molasses 11/14 stretching seems to have stopped. Dropped humidity and raised vpd to stay around 1.5 and raised light intensity so it's 1000 ppfd at top of plant

Entering pre-flowering. Calix and pistils appear, beginning of alternating growth, very stretchy. RG has grown a lot and well, the training made her very bushy, as I wanted it to be. Lots of beautiful branches now have space to form beautiful buds. From now on I will let the main cola grow and stop to bend the main stem. Still no need 4 feed. 🤙👋

At the end of the day, she's overall healthy and strong Day 42 Time to feed the babies, so we added 900PPM (300ml) floranova grow Followed by 1590ppm (300ml) flora nova bloom to make sure she's got all nutrients balanced well, also added 400ml of plain water after that so they could get a nice run off. I think they're happy and we gonna check on them in a couple days to see how they go, Ph is around 6.2 which is great Temp outdoors from 7-@ 1pm around 25C to 36C Then back indoors Temp is 28C and drop to 22 at night and dawn so they're good and comfortable Keeping humidity lvls around 40/65% top Nice AC and Fan for air circulation Thank you all for your support

Very healthy looking seedling, starting to grow very fast, she's got a great size for 14 days only and I think I'll transplant her in a couple of days more when she is 17 days or so like the other ones in this run, they grow extremely fast under the tsl2000 by mars hydro, very happy with the results I'm achieving in terms of growth, I hope the same in flower! I have Transplanted this lady into her definitive 11l pot on February 6th which is her day 17 since she was planted, she's 4 days younger than the rest of the plants in this 2x4 run, she's looking very healthy and strong, let's see how she keeps developing herself!

Dieser Durchgang ist nicht mein schönster ( besonders die Special Kush) aber ich denke das ich trotzdem eine schöne hochwertige Ernte haben werde und verzichte jetzt auch auf großes entgegensteuern mit irgendwelchen Nährstoffen. Ich denke wenn ich jetzt einfach so weiter fahre wie zuvor bring ich beide easy ans Ziel. :)

I just love opening the tent to this lady each morning! This grow will definitely sit high on my list of favorites! I am still on the transition feed recipe and slowly lowering the Grow Big while increasing the Tiger Bloom. I love to sit and watch the soil move and breath and take notice of all of the tiny creatures within it making my plant so happy and healthy! At this point, I am pulling a leaf or two here and there as they shadow buds or block airflow, but she really has grown a great structure and has a nice spread so not much defol is needed!

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day.
