Kinda disappointed but given the circumstances with reveg and having to move the grow think I have to accept what the yields were. It’s all a learning experience that I can apply to my next grow, probably let them go a little longer for more amber and keep her a bit longer in veg and keep an eye on the light cycle 😂 Also think i need to upgrade from this blurple led if i want to expect anything decent off my plants, it has been okay to use to test out and understand growing methods but I think I'll wait till ive upgraded that for my next grow.

Hi again! Franky has been stretching a lot. I did a "big" defoil on day 20 to stop the stretching. I didn't do too much I think. Tried to take out a lot of big leafs and did a bit of lollipopping from beneath. It was the biggest and most exhausting defoil I did so far. Took hours and eventually sometime I got tired. :D Today is day 24 of flowering btw. I started adding Epsom salt in a very small dose and also started adding green sensation from plagron to fight the red leaf stems and discolorings on some leafs that were indicating a lack of magnesium & phosphor. It seems to have taken the first dose very well. I'm extremely pleased with the looks so far. I will try to send into flowering earlier tho next time cuz this sht is growing wild. :D

Runtz layer cake was a blast to grow. I really enjoy Runtz flavor and taste. The girl was big and wide. We love that always.no mold and no bug damage. She also had to problem with the cold.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Esta semana hubo un crecimiento muy acelerado. Estoy manejando la altura de las plantas con HST y corte, esperando a una nueva que agregué, para que empiece a estirarse. Cuando tenga la altura de las otras plantas, paso todo a floración. Estuve cortando los bajos de algunas plantas. Otras las estoy dejando crecer un poco para hacer nuevos esquejes. La solución se mantienen las mismas proporciones. Voy a ir actualizando la semana con fotos diarias, para tener una referencia del crecimiento. Día 16. El crecimiento es increíblemente rápido. Estoy aplicando cortes y super cropping porque quiero lograr plantas bien fuertes y bajas. Además quiero aprovechar la superficie de cultivo lo mejor posible. Por lo que voy a hacer varias cabezas por planta, y voy a intentar darles bastante crecimiento para que den más producción. Iré actualizando. Día 19. Se aplica bioestimulante Aux ym foliar. 2ml/l. Ya preparando para pasar a flora en 10 días. Prendí una de las luces laterales par darle más luz a la pequeña Jamaican Dream de prueba que hay en la punta. Día 20. Mañana se cambia la solución. Las plantas estan creciendo mucho. Voy guiando algunas ramas para que queden todas a la misma altura. La pequeña tiene toda esta semana para pegar el estirón final antes de pasar a flora. Confío en que va a llegar porque es sativa 90% a diferencia de sus vecinas 80% indicas. De todos modos me voy a concentrar en las Green Tiger, ya que este diario está dedicado a ellas principalmente.

18cm vertical growth this week. She's not very tall.... Not sure what I've done wrong. 😐 Slowing down now we are entering flowering. She is VERY bushy!!!!!! Very short internode length. I've cut the big fan leaves off the main stem to allow light to penetrate her lower leaves!!! I never usually do this, but she is so bushy they had to go.

Today is 11/17/18. This is the final day before the SWITCH to 12/12 lighting schedule. I watered with nutes of 832 ppm, ph. 6.1, temp 78. I pray I have 4 females, if not, at least 2 of the 4. Today is 11/18/18 and WOW, when i opened the tent when the lights came on, my plants had grown an entire inch over that 12 hour darkness period. I wish I had been told to leave them in the dark for 1-3 days then do the 12/12 but oh well still a great 1st time learning experience to see all this step-by-step. Today 11/23/18,watered with cal-mag only. 11/25/18, Bagseed #1 is a male, he has went to cannabis heaven, R.I.P.

Meanwhile, our flowering cycle continues. In just one week, the plants have changed noticeably and are developing exactly as expected.

Guys Shes looking very good but I am noticing that she is kinda short and I believe she got stressed out after all the techniques we applied on her, I think I will only go with LST/HST and defoliation for next time with the auto flowers, I think they don't have enough time to recover and I think we get to see it here because otherwise she would have grown like the cream Mandarine, she is an XL but not looking like that tho. Everything else is good, either that or too many nutes and she got locked out with nutes which I don't think so since she is giving nice smells and flowers and the main trunk got many compact buds forming sites, I just think I need to let them be since auto genetics are too delicates to fuck with, specially this strain not all the strains responds equally, in my experience amnesia, grapefruit and even cream Mandarine XL are warriors, they will resist and recover fats but this lady os very delicate and need to be trates carefully, we did a lot of experiments on this one and I bet the high is wicked bomb just the fact that will produce ultra high quality bud but not as much as you would expect im guessing 15g dry bud top and probably 40 wet but I will let you know at the end, I think I am going to harvest this girl in about 4-5 weeks from now what do you think? Been another smooth week. A few of the plants are starting to show signs that they are moving towards the finish line. Seeing some swelling, pistils starting to brown, and some beautiful purples coming out in some of the buds. Been debating on giving them a dose of dry koolbloom, but I will probably just keep them running on the maxibloom until flush since they look pretty happy. This grape doesn't have much of a fruity aroma like you would expect. Shes straight greasy gas. And shes building up pretty big.

From my previous experience with the outdoor grow. I decided to put her to the test in an indoor grow setup. I must say she is looking absolutely plush and green with strong leafs .. I'm already super excited to see what this grow can produce with the correct training and feeding schedules.

Lady Blueberry ist zur Number 1 im Höhenwachstum avanciert. Sie hat eindeutig alle Anderen hinter sich gelassen und es sieht nicht so aus, als würde sie diesen Vorsprung wieder aufgeben wollen. Leider ist ein kleineres Malheur passiert; als ich sie wegen eines bevorstehenden Gewitters, das dann doch nicht so stark wie angekündigt wurde, sichern wollte, ist einer der Hauptzweige im unteren Bereich angebrochen. Er wurde sorgfältig verschnürt an der Rißstelle und weiter oben, damit er sich nicht seitlich wegdrehen kann und doch noch abbricht. 😩😱😅 Ist auf einem Bild deutlich zu erkennen. Um mineralischen Defiziten vorzubeugen bekam sie eine Blattdüngung mit verdünntem Seetangextrakt. Sie ist mittlerweile so hoch mit Topf, dass ein Stuhl oder Leiter notwendig ist, um sie von oben zu fotografieren. Von mir aus kann sie nun das Höhenwachstum beenden, damit ich die Blüten später besser kontrollieren kann, aber sie wird mir den Gefallen nicht tun. Es macht wenig Sinn, sich über tolle, große Pflanzen zu freuen, die später verschimmeln, weil man in der Höhe nicht mehr kontrollieren kann und ein großer Teil der Ernte verloren geht. Alles schon gesehen und miterlebt. Nächste Woche kommt die Ausrüstung zur Erstellung von Komposttee (eine kleine Druckluftpumpe und das passende Rohr zur Umwälzung). Das soll viele, viele Mikroben aus meinem Wurmkompost vermehren und sich fleissig am Pflanzenwachstum und deren Gesundheit beteiligen. Es ist eine Neuheit für mich, wenigstens wird der Wurmkompost hier sinnvoll verbraucht. Etwas Humus vom Boden der Benjeshecke kommt auch noch rein. Alle 2-3 Wochen möchte ich mit Komposttee gießen. Und es wird Zeit für ein Top Layer in den Töpfen mit Hornmehl, Rinderdungpellets, Wurmkompost und etwas Erde. Es wird Bilder und Blubbervideos geben. Sunday, May 15. 2022 Plants really looking good and happy to me 😁. The roots are sucking much more water out of the pots than my previous grow and I am giving them a gallon every two days now. They wilted slightly a couple days this week because I didn't realise how much water they were using. Supplemented feed yesterday with Recharge and Cytokin, and foliar spray of same solution this morning. Both plants started showing pistils a couple weeks back but now both are full furred out. Plant #2, the one with whorled phyllotaxy, has red and white pistils; I am not sure of the significance of that, if any.
