Watermelon 🍉 is maturing very well. Nice and dense, frosty buds! She's finished growing now, so concentrating next on just flower nutes. The plant is very small due to my terrible attempt at LST! 😅 27.2.25: Watermelon 🍉 and Purple Lemonade 💜🍋 are both far below the scrog net, they've definitely stopped stretching now. My LST on these was much worse than even just using the net. 😅 That was certainly a valuable takeaway. I'm sure Purple Lemonade 💜🍋 will be good. Watermelon 🍉 was so stunted. It's not a tall strain, usually either, but nevertheless, the buds there are looking very frosty and are very, very sticky! 😅 Should be a good smoke, eventually, 🤗 just won't be much to bag unfortunately.

I dont know how, but the same happened with the grow before this one, but to a Biscotti from a different seed bank. I never seen this before, so i am really surprised to see this happening back to back. Blütewoche 5 Mir läuft langsam das Wasser im Mund zusammen. Die Entwicklung der Blüten läuft auf Hochtouren! In dieser Woche war eigentlich wenig zu tun. Ein paar welke Blätter unterhalb des Blattwerks wurden entfernt. Alle zwei Tage bekommen die Damen 10l Wasser mit einem Ec von 2,5. Anzeichen für Überdüngung habe ich bisher keine gefunden. Der Calcium mangel ist danke Calmag im Rahmen geblieben. Ich bin sehr froh das Scrog Netz zu haben, die Blüten werden gegen Ende vermutlich zu schwer werden. Einige kleine untere Triebe die es nicht ganz durchs Netz geschafft haben wurden mit Kordel gesichert. Lasst gerne eure Gedanken dazu hier! Hallo Growmies, Welcome everyone to the third week of the trip to Japan. This week the adventures started and we still have a bumpy road ahead of us before we reach the final destination. After we changed the nutrient solution she definitely seemed more happier .💦 So decided to start with the trainings, on Day 25 topped her and right after started with LST. I expect her to recover quickly from the early stress and start growing strong in the next 2 weeks. 🌱 On day 27 took off 4 big fan leaves. Till day 29 we continued tying the branches and checked and corrected the PH daily. Let the branches up for 2 days to regenerate then we tied them again. PPFD is around 600. Will keep this until the end of the veg period. Everything is going well but there was something to worry about again. I started giving powder silicate to the mix and left a gap between the net pot and the water. In the second day checked the root and noticed that silicate deposited in clumps on the part of the root which is between the net pot and the water. Luckily could wash it off with a shower. End of Week 9 (Second week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1300ppm and the ladies have stopped stretching. The main top-sites are starting to form buds. I defoliated a few fan leaves again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites I also gave a cup of worm castings as a top-up to each pot to give the microbes a boost and it replenishes vital minerals to the soil. Pest Report: None

It was a pretty mixed week weather-wise. We had some beautiful sunshine, but also quite a few cloudy days—today, it's actually super cloudy. At the beginning of the week, I paused the Autopot system to give the lady two specific top feeds: First Feed: A fresh dose of nematodes to nipped any potential fungus gnat issues. Second Feed (2 days later): A light snack of 2.5ml Orgatrex to feed the microbials and give the soil some extra sugars. Yesterday, I finally restarted the Autopot system, so she is officially running on autopilot again! I also adjusted the LST a little bit further to keep her flat and wide, and now I’m just waiting for that explosive, bushy growth. I’ve also included a picture of the whole setup today! The greenhouse is completely open in the back, but I’ve installed a fine insect screen there. On the right side next to the GM, you can see a Orange Sherbet Auto, which is currently stretching and heading right into flower!

Day 14 she’s loving life. I learned our ph was coming out at ph 8.5 or over so we got that handled and since she’s exploded. I’ve very excited to have her in the arsenal again.

I currently have the ladies drying in my dry tent on day 3 now. I have my temperatures around 61-63 degrees stable, with 50-60% RH fluctuating. Will be updating the diary with weights once they finish drying and I get them all trimmed up! Thanks everyone for taking a look, super stoked with how my first run turned out and will be starting my second run in the next few days as well so super excited. I have learned a lot from this run and looking forward to implementing things into my next run to improve. Will also update more info about the strain once I have it for sure. I ended up with 18.3 ounces of nicely trimmed buds, and a ton of larf and trim (26 ounces) which is fine because I will be dry sifting and pressing on the nugsmasher! I did press out a little and have some work to do to figure that thing out and dial it in. I have learned a ton from this grow and look word to applying to my current grow. I see and have a much better understanding of feeding, training, and now I kinda see what is and is not going to developed that much. Going to give these girls time to cure. Will update. An interesting strain. From the very beginning, it handled everything really well, even though I managed to stunt it with nutrients at one point. Thankfully, it recovered and bounced back nicely. Unfortunately, because I was away, I wasn’t able to take any photos before harvest. For plants grown in 10L pots, they became genuinely huge trees, which you can tell from the size of the root system. One plant was harvested two weeks earlier than the other. I’ll add photos of the buds after drying and curing (if there’s anything left by then 😅). Overall, I can definitely recommend this strain. It grows like crazy and the final result is very satisfying. The potency is certainly higher than what the breeder claims on the website. Unfortunately, I have no way to verify that scientifically, so you’ll just have to take my word for it. 😅🌱🔥

Week 5 of Flower: HLG Diablo at 100% 15in from canopy. Watered in at 900ml top dressed 2tbs bloom, 2tbs bloom2, 3 tbs barley, 2 tbs worm castings, last recharge day and a silica day. Flower set, in bloom I feel like I should have thinned out the canopy more for better penetration but it’s the first run so let’s she how deep she gets in.
