the week started with a novelty for me: the appearance of nematodes in my tanks... strange little worms, which gather in the water and move in little spasms (see video 👆) When I started growing, I bought a whole range of products against infestations, paranoid as I was (I'm sure others have experienced this 😅); Among other things, I bought NeemAzal, neem oil in emulsion. So I took a chance. I emptied my tanks, cleaned and dried the bottom, without much conviction as the worms must have been in the coco already. I made a new soup with my fertilizer, adding 20ml of neem per 10 litres. Well, I don't know if it was really the right product, but for the last 5 days there has been no trace of nematodes! The water seems soapy, the grease film is more important than without the neem, but if it takes the small sacrifice of a conscientious cleaning once a week, I'll gladly do it! In any case, my plants are doing absolutely no worse : the first one got its leaves back in 2 days, already forcing me to a small pruning 4 days later, now showing well several colas; I also defoliated the 2nd one for the first time, which produced leaves already bigger than my hand in 2 weeks of life! happy with this hydroponic experience so far 😊

Segunda semana, las plantas crecen de forma correcta aunque de manera dispar, hay algunas que ya tienen 3 nudos (pequeños por cierto) pero hay otras que aun tiene su primer par de hojas. Esta semana comencé a darles los nutrientes según la tabla de Bio Bizz.

I decided to skip out on the 3gal and upgraded to a 4.97 or 5gal container. The plastic is cheep and looks like it was going to break but its all the grow store had in stock at the time. Was talking to them about going from a 2gal to 3gal and how it did not do much for the plant but stress it out. They also gave me a free sample of a bokashi fertilizer, I divided that in between the two plants. It looks identical to the regular non fertilizer branded bokashi, and I feel its the same but with a mist of NPK on it or something. Plants are doing well, Dynomyco had a slighter bigger root ball upon transplant and the plant its self is a tiny bit more robust. Given all the other soil boosters and microorganisms I have added into this, I don't feel I will see the true potential of just Dynomyco vs soil nothing else added. I just can't not add the others as it feel like a massive step backwards and end of day a big healthy plant is worth it. This diary may not have massive contrast in favour of Dynomyco but I will still use it none the less and I think its helps plus its not over just yet. Would love to hear what y'all think about this, hit me up in the comments and I'd try and get back to yea as fast as I can. I like how the dead Blue Cindy plant looks like a biophage, sifi like alien thing. Week 4 starts Sunday July 17, 2022 Plants seem really nice and healthy. I really like Flora Nova, its a great product. 300ppm and the plants love it, even though the Gaia Green is in the mix, it seems to just love this combo, ever since I repotted with the amendments in the soil, and watered with Flora Nova Bloom (mix it crazy well before using) the plants just look really happy and green. It's not an organic product, maybe like 30% organic -- just like me haha. I think by week's end we will be caught up and ready to intensify lights, threw the SF1000 in the tent finally for more light, but so far just keeping only the Phlizon white light full spectrum COBs on and the RB lights off, and not using the SF-1000 at all even though its mostly white. Despite what Phlizon says, the COBs are great during veg, the RB not so much. I like the COBs so much better than the smaller LEDs for veg. July 19, 2022 Turned on the SF-1000 to 60% and measured light, I'm happy with it. I have another strain growing next to these and the extra light will help during flower as a side light but it will most likely hit the canopy too. The growth is vigorous right now. Added pics, today is day 28 since they were dropped into water July 23, 2022 Tomorrow starts week 5, growth is super green, no funky yellow or leaf drama. Stalks are getting much thicker and stronger. Turned the lights up this week, added the 2nd COB, and temps are just fine! Who knew. Anyway, they look like they are very close to pre-flower. Added some tent mates for a future grow, check out the grow area vid. Maybe I forgot to mention added worm castings this week...

Strain is Lemon Pie x Gorilla Cookies Auto R2 Grow started on July 8th, 2022 I dropped these directly into another pot with some plants that I was pretty sure were not awesome. I was right and these germinated quickly and are growing well. Out of four, the two I kept were the best ones, so I named them 1 and 2 Direct to soil, same feed as my Green Gelato Auto grow, Flora Nova Bloom with all the good Gaia Green nutes and worm castings and myco in the soil already. Crimson Clover is cover/companion July 23, 2022 Day 15 My impression of these two autos so far: super fast growing, topped on day 15, 1st week of veg. I was NOT going to top them, but they are so fast, I need to buy some time, since the other plants are filling out now. I don't think she will slow down by much.

Weeks been chill, plants are not drinking as much as I thought they would be. Still annoying to water them separately with PH'd shit, some days I just give them tap and say fuck it. Can't say they are doing the best they could be doing. Been to busy with other things to give them the full attention they need for a first time liquid feed grow. Really should have done this indoors but I hate running a tent in the summer when the sun and heat are free. Granted the tomatoes are blocking some of their sun, have to move them aorund. been meaning to do that but no where to put them where they won't block out some other plants. Been having some fun making the little videos each week, been using open shot video editor to mash it all together and it works quite nice. Few crashes here and there as this laptop is garbage. It has so many features that I am not fully utilizing like cuts and effects but I've kept it stupid simple. Bugger one of the videos did not upload into the diary. Annoying AF these things take forever to "resize/convert" I like how the dead Blue Cindy plant looks like a biophage, sifi like alien thing.

Was out of town all week and came back to find the CBD Star in my space bucket not looking good. It looks like a phosphorus deficiency but not entirely sure. Yellow leaves with brown/black spots and dark red/purple stems. I flushed it with 2 gallons 6.5 pH water, re-fertilized, put it out in the sun and defoliated. I defoliated pretty heavily since many of the fan leaves were yellowed and blocking light from the lower bud sites. The center was also getting pretty dense so I carefully removed some of the leaves to help with airflow. Despite the stress, It seems to have bounced back reasonably well. There’s probably irreparable damage given the level of yellowing but the buds continue to grow and thicken. Cheese has absolutely exploded and looks great. It probably doubled in height last week with many bud sites on the 5 main stalks. Excited to see how it turns out.

Loving the sun and fresh air. So crazy compare to growing indoors with fake LED light. Looking forward to the size of flowers she will produce
