Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. My pictures seem to have re organized themselves, just give me a few here and I'll get the full rundown . So this week ( day 21-23) was MAJOR defoliating. What my first step is to start taking the largest fan leaves . My next step is about halfway through the canopy I'll stop and then I'll start working on the very bottom of the plant now at this stage in the game anything that doesn't even have a nice Bud site so a nice white hair sticking bud at the very bottom like shoots I'll just cut them right off. This is the first steps of a main line but I don't complete the actual full main line I probably will try it sometime soon just not this time. So you take off anything that is a small shoot coming off the main stems and then your next step is . STOP. It might be a minute it might be 10 minutes, 20 min , it might be an hour or more ( my tip is don't wait a full day I try and do it within the first 12 hours of starting it) but I always stop just to look at what I've done sometimes if you get going too quickly you can end up doing way too much. Stand to talk to canopy and look what sites are getting hit by light what places are these families beneficial to use for photosynthesis. Anything that is not doing as much good will be taken off and at that point I'll probably do another you know 5-10 minutes of defoliation maybe take one or two more shoots at the bottom to ensure what's left there is a huge fat cola that's going to give you those huge buds . After this you're going to want to do your best to support those stems that are going to hold a lot more weight as if the plant would have been with all the shoots so you're going to want to just make sure that you have staking in place or some sort of support system to keep them from flopping over a breaking them in the future because that's one thing yeah it's great but then it'll get to a point where oh no stuff falling over and then it's just more hassle than it is helpful. Day 51 omg the smells she stinks so sweet straight like bubblegum. I’m stoked for her. She really started off slower and it just goes to show you even the turtle can win the race. Just a beautiful spread of leaves and buds and nice dense frosty goodness. Really happy with her.

Yeah it’s not anything like I had planned, but like I said last week, there is always next year. I’m just giving her molasses here and there. I don’t know the pH or ppm of the feed water. It’s just molasses and my 8 pH well water. Then back to just plain water if I’m not feeding. There are obviously a lot of soil amendments that I’m leaning on. I suppose the picture of her trunk isn’t that impressive because it lacks a reference of scale. But those are some big roots on the top there.

5.3. Tag 116 sie bekommt noch 1-2 Wochen und dann geht’s in die Blüte. Die Triebe werden in der Zeit weiterhin auseinander gehalten. Und versucht die aktuelle Form bei zu behalten. June 8: really cold here the last few days. Likely due to the heat dome now in SW states and Mexico. Overnight low of only 1 C tonight so the plants are indoors until conditions improve which should be soon. June 9: it wasn’t as cold as forecast last night and stayed above 5 C with lowest being two nights ago at 3.3 C. Watered with 26 C water this evening to keep it warm a bit longer but overnight temps should be fine again now and she’s outdoors full time now. June 10: watered this morning with first compost tea. Pic is from the evening and she’s looking really good. A few days ago I forgot to lower the pH of the city tap water and the biggest fan leaves show some of that pH swing damage. Oops. Looks good now though after the lazy compost tea. Lazy compost tea is compost, molasses, some coco coir and some Monster Maxx. Let sit overnight but not so long that it goes anaerobic. It should smell fresh not sulphurous. June 11: looks good after the compost tea. June 13: to get the stems growing apart in preparation for another round of topping, I supercropped both stems, taped with floral tape, and then tied down using pipe cleaners and paper clips on the edge of the grow bag. Very ple4ased with this plant so much so that she will migrate into the other tent where she will have more space to flourish, I am growing in a mixture of biobizz allmix plus coco and its going well . She is only 34 days old from seed and the growth has been fantastic. I must be doing something right for a change !!!

📆 Semana 3: Esta variedad sera un cultivo mixto, interior y exterior para ver todo su poderio em ambos lugares. Ha sido una buena semana en la que han dado un gran cambio en sus lugares definitivo 😎. Se le ha aplicado un tratamiento insecticida con agua + tierra de diatomeas ( 1 cucharadita por litro de agua), también se le aplica un tratamiento fungicida con una infusión de cola de caballo para evitar futuro moho. A partir de ahora se aplica riego por goteo, 1/3 de la dosis recomendada por el fabricante ya que al estar en exterior y en buena tierra tiene bastante comida. En interior seguira el mismo plan nutricional que el resto, ajustando sus dosis de nutrientes segun sean requeridos. Potencia de la lámpara: 60% , se conecta el Marshydro TS-1000 para dar apoyo en la carpa de 1.50 x 1.50 x 1.50

Got few presents from Mars Hydro New lights TS1000, was very happy, that she has dimmer and current price make her a good grab New Mars tent, they a great and last few years easy, tested not once. Great AMS strain, always wanted to grow few more Chocolope after my first diary here. Day 1. Girls is out and looks happy ;) Happy Growing !
