Added a top layer of soil with added nutes so that only needed to water normally and let the top mix do the work down below. Will mix in more compost tea every other day and towards the end of the week, hit it with my normal organic nutes mix. The plant is looking healthy and continues to flower out and each cola is starting to thicken nicely. I have a few leaves here and there showing some discoloration so will watch closely to ensure I don’t have a light or nute issue. Will move the light intensity to 80% on the LED panels after this next week and as long as the leaves still look good. The grow room is fairly warm (80F) and rH is high (75 – 80rH) but my CO2 levels are fairly high as well so the plants should be fine. Running 2 x HO Solarcure UVBs for 2 hours about an hour after the LED lights turn on at the beginning of the 12 hour set and for 2 hours about an hour before the LEDs turn off at the end of the set.

It's done...another one chopped. What a challenge this one. If you follow my grows, you know I love Royal Queen Seeds. I consistently have the best result with RQS strains, plus their services are always great. That being said I had much expectation for this Strain. What can I say... for the good point, it smells very sweet, fruity and yields giant long cola, fuuuulll of flower, very sticky and faty faty. . So densily packed that comes with some issues. First its always demanding for more K, a lot of top leaves yellowing that was hard to control. A long flower period for an auto and it suffered a lot with bud rot ( white mold, not the black one) It was a first to me. Tried everything from cutting parts to h202 direct on top of the damaged areas but with no success. That being said I've lost a lot of flower because of it and had to cut at least a week sooner than I wanted.. I will face this challenge again in a near future. The plant without the root ball weighed 1.2kg. It's drying know, so let's wait to see what we got... Overall one of the most productive plants I've tried, as one of the biggest buds I've seen in these colas. Thank you James and RQS for all the support. You guys are great and a major contribution for the cannabis world.

This girl is out of control with the growth. She has grown 12 inches and is not stopping. Seriously unbelievable. I think you can actually see it grow just watching it. She is going to be huge.

Week 20 8/11-17 For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They and with the trichomes just starting to form and 2 more moths to go. They continue lovin life outside. These ladies are maturing as many fans are yellowing and falling off. Temps are comfortable following Storm Debby, in the 80s with low humidity. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. These ladies had a long vegetation phase. They germinated April 1 so I could get them hardened off before I went on vacay. The colas are large, trichomes forming and with 2 more months to go, my expectations for these are heavy yields and sticky dense buds. Hey Guys, so I have ran into some difficulties regarding our power supplier. Due to the current situation we are facing in South Africa the power company "Eskom" does not have ample supply to provide constant electricity to our country anymore. This is very sad. So they implement a system called "loadshedding" where the cut off power supply in certain suburbs at certain times. This has got me in a complete and utter flat spin as I'm not always at home when this happens. The past 2 weeks have been immensely rough as we we're scheduled for outages 3 times a day for 2,5 hour intervals. Between 02:00AM - 06:30 my tent's power went off (depending on scheduled time). This has in fact caused some VPD problems ( I tried getting up every night, but I still have to get enough sleep for work ). As you can imagine, it sucks BIG TIME. I've done my best to keep at par & doctored where I could. *Decreased Light Intensity (600W) *Decreased Wind Velocity on canopy Almost approaching the start of week 3. Feeding schedule from 3 day interval - 2 day interval ( 2L per feed ) Selective defoliation to get light on lower tops. Used some garden wire to support 2 main colas which we're too high. Note: Pest/Mould check done. Foliar sprayed with H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) @ coolest part of day - Next day applied high alkalinity ph'd water to kill mildew spores - Fan heater running from 03:30AM - 06:00AM, pulsing/regulating temp at 19-21°C [ until light comes on ] Grow Logging Light Distance From Canopy = 65cm Substrate Temp = 16 C Substrate PH = 6.0 Normal - Moist Level 79cm = Scrog Net Height 95cm = Tree Height PPFD = 20.1 C = Tent 45% RH
