Steady as she goes 🎶 Week 5

Plants are just now reaching the scrog net. I’ve broken 2 branches from amateur lst but plants have remained solid and growing rapidly. Going to begin filling in the screen for another week.

These ladies are doing quite well and we have had no issues to mention for the week. They are all happy, healthy and strong. Kabul is the tallest of the three, White Widow is not far behind and the White Russian is a stout plant with a lot going on. So far they have been untouched and we do not have plans of manipulation for them, nature shall take her course.

I DID A PREVENTATIVE SPRAY OF BT THIS WEEK BUT I DON'T REMEMBER EXACTLY WHICH DAY. I THINK I MIXED AT 3 OR 4 TBSP GALLON WITH SOME DAWN. BONIDE BRAND THURACIDE. 8/30 Fed two gallons to the garden. Watered before and after the feed. Defoliated what was dead. Its scary seeing so many leaves go but energy is shifted to the buds. Buds are ripening but on one mislabeled mystery seed and the wedding cake they look far behind the rest. Wondering how they could possibly finish in the 6 to 8 weeks I have left. If needed I MAY be able to put something in the garage at night. I'd have to RIP the bag out of the ground though which wouldn't be good. I mean some of the plants are pushing ten feet but we use it for heavy equipment. So foggy this morning. Horrible weather. Still fighting PM, possible lockout and ear wigs. We will see how it goes. I'll continue weekly treatment for the pm and I'll find something for the earwigs. I'm hesitant to use the Spinosid in flower. 8/31 Rained last night. Surprise, surprise. Talked to a few other growers and consulted my last year's diary. I had a couple early pheno's last year but things seem on schedule. It's amazing the amount of growth that can happen in a day. Even my ice cream cake has small flowers. Time is running short. Probably six to eight weeks max growing time left. I hope everything finished up nicely. I need to continue monitoring PM and pests. Considering spraying preventative BT tonight. Yesterday I saw the biggest pile of powder mildew and leaf septoria on a tree an hour from my grow. It literally looked like snow flakes on leaves then someone dumped a bag of flour on it. This gives me some perspective and gratitude that the TINY spots I'm treating could be much worse. Weekly treatments until harvest. Hopefully BT or diy green cleaner tonight for earwigs and worms (if they are there). 9/1 Watered thoroughly. Leaves still yellowing. I hope it's senescence. Still need to continue treatments with BT and potassium bicarbonate. Sunny day but rain tonight. Need to add more supports for heavy branches. Will update as I go. 9/2 Rained all night and it's still raining. I'll update when the rain stops. Went back over and added a couple higher supports and defoliated a shit ton. Spent two hours in the garden last night. Too tired for pictures. 9/3 Fed two gallons to the garden and upped Kool bloom to a full tablespoon. I'm thinking about using beastie bloom then cha ching as I have them both. I'm a little hesitant. Wondering what others thoughts are on those products. I plan to spray either tonight or tomorrow with another helping of potassium bicarbonate to help with the WPM. To be honest it seems to work great. I just don't want to go overboard. I wish you guys could smell the pictures. Shits getting fun now. 9/4 Had a torrential rain storm with massive wind. No damage. Buds are getting huge. Had to add a few more supports this morning as branches were hanging. If I had room I'd do a second vertical trellis. Unfortunately I do not. I AM able to run string across the cage though which really helps things higher up. I need to put some pictures of my stalks. Legit bigger than soda cans. I wish you guys could smell my pictures. Re-checked all cameras and everything is working good. On high alert. I'd be very surprised if anyone even attempted to rob me but you never know. That's why it's 24/7 supervision until Croptober. 9/5 Lots of sun yesterday but if course it rained last night. Buds are progressing at a rapid rate. Leaves seem to be dropping to soon on the blueberries. I need to do another potassium bicarbonate treatment tonight. Branches are really getting heavy. I'm hoping all this rain doesn't cause bud rot but so far so good.

Branch Topping: Building a Strong Framework After recovering beautifully from her initial topping at node 7, it was time to refine her structure further by topping a few branches. For each branch, I left two nodes to ensure strong, healthy growth while encouraging a bushier canopy. Why Top Branches? Topping isn’t just for the main stem—it’s an essential technique for creating an even canopy and increasing yield potential: 1. Encourages Lateral Growth: By removing the top of a branch, the plant redirects its energy into the remaining nodes, encouraging side shoots to grow and fill out. 2. Maximizes Light Penetration: A bushier plant with more branches ensures that all parts of the plant get access to light, reducing shading and improving photosynthesis. 3. Improves Structure: A strong, evenly distributed framework sets the stage for a healthier plant that can support larger buds during flowering. The decision to leave two nodes per topped branch ensures a balance between promoting growth and avoiding unnecessary stress. Tent Conditions: Consistency is Key The room conditions this week have remained steady and perfect for her vegetative stage: • Temperature: Around 18°C—cool but manageable, keeping her growth steady. • Humidity: At 60%, maintaining just the right level to support her root zone and foliage. • Lighting: The Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD continues to provide optimal light for compact, strong growth. i will dim it up soon! These consistent conditions give her the environment she needs to recover quickly from topping and focus on building her structure. Nutrient Routine: Trusting the Pellets This week, I’ve continued with the Aptus Holland All-in-One Pellets as the primary nutrient source. They’re working their magic, providing a steady release of nutrients to support her vigorous growth. Left um 4 days over Christmas being a lazy bum and come back to half a tent off yellow a lot of fan leaves are looking sickly / fell off altogether most yellow leaves have been pulled off plants lost a lot of they fam leaves all in maybe abit too many , it’s hard because one person tells ya leave um all on and another person will tell ya take um all off so we just been seeing what works ourselfs and still ain’t got the foggiest , when ya rub the buds you get hints off lemon / pepper and fresh dog shit 🤣🤣 as I say we have um last feed of nutes this week and started to flush um they take about 6 litres of water through the pots untill any type of coloured run off and we only have 100l so 3 days at it we got through about 10 plants and we gave up 🤣🤣 so again intrested to see the finished prouduct if flushing does change the taste of the smoke , saying this the plants we have flushed seem to be looking alot more healthy than the ones we haven’t so deffo leaning towards a lockout or too high nutes for the girls , alot of rusting and alot of burnt frazzled tips one plant we chopped early and didn’t even get a gram of smoke able off it just alot of leaf n skinny buds , it being a first time go at this I’m not really too disappointed with the outcome but deffo kicking myself at how many I rammed in togther , some of the top Kolas are looking 10/10 but other than the top kolas the rest ain’t worth a wank to me , all in all learnt a lot though so excited to finish this one up and get cracking with number 2 I’m leaning towards bud Buddha seeds cheese puffs after smoking some zheez that’s going around the country at the minute cheese x zkittles , anyway happy growing people and don’t forget to drop a comment if you have anything to say or ask

Ztrawberriez auto in perlite is doing good. I been keeping her well flushed and wet the best I can. It us essentially a Hydro grow in a ice cream bucket. 😏 she us flowering nicely, and I am curious to how she turns out. Everything is looking great at the moment. 8.2.20 day 2 Rise a&b to 3.5 ml/l and new water mix. Some leaf getting burn on the side and purple color below ,probbly its in the genetics. 10.2.20 day 4 What a grate smell and color just wow. 11.2.20 day 5 No comment .

Time to start feeding her! She is doing ok but a little smaller compared to other diaries. I figure its because the heat. I’m hoping this is the week she starts to run. Wish me luck!!

crazy week found drain gnats which explains the green hue of some of my plants the larve are attacking the roots raising the p.h. and the diffecencies are showing in the leaves being lighter and or brown dots on the leaves. using mosquito dunks and spraying neem oil washing the roots to help these ladies out. also im doing things different with the soil vs dwc, i havent done much if any defoliating with potted plants just letting them grow only mainlined once and since in flower very light if any defoliating. any questions comments information feel free to ask or inform im open to critque
