Woche 8 fängt leider nicht ganz so gut an. Ein Bud hat angefangen zu schimmeln. Dieser musste entsorgt werden. Die restliche Pflanze sieht aber erstmal ganz gut aus. Hoffen dass es bei dem einen Bud bleibt. Die gute Nachricht ist, die ersten Trichome werden Bernsteinfarbend. Ich hoffe ich kann sie bald ernten, denn es steht viel Regen an und das tut den Buds nicht gut. Der Entfeuchter läuft jetzt 24/7. 😇 Nährstofflösung gibt es nicht mehr. nur noch Wasser mit einem EC von unter 0.2. Das Licht läuft auch nur noch mit 65%.

Well week 5 of bloom is complete, and this week brought a few challenges. Humidity in my area has been through the roof, close to 100%. My heavy-duty equipment was struggling to bring my tent to acceptable late flowering levels, sometimes reaching over 60% RH, especially at night when the plant was respirating more. Additionally, her pale yellow color, and leathery leaves didn't excite me too much. If you remember, we had a severe heat wave a couple of weeks ago, which contributed to that. But also, since I messed up the ScrOG training, and regrettably decided not to super-crop her, a fair share of the leaf problems were due to light stress as well, as I didn't want to sacrifice lower colas, so I let it go. My biggest mistake this grow, was not paying attention to her the one day she decided to stretch nearly a foot, and was unable to be weaved into the net the next day without being snapped in half. My second biggest mistake is NOT snapping it in half, and letting it repair itself. I wouldn't have had nearly as much bleaching of leaves I think. This week, and I'm assuming because nearly all chlorophyll was depleted from her fan leaves, I didn't notice much of any change from last week. Her buds seemed to be about the same mass, and the stigmas still had the same ratio of red to white coloration. I suspected she was dead, or dying, or just...done. Not all genetics will transform all of their stigmas from white, and not all genetics will have their trichomes turn amber. So, I did a few things to confirm that suspicion. First, I looked at her trichomes on various buds closely with a microscope. They were almost all cloudy, with very very few amber. That told me that she was at an acceptable level of ripeness, even if she could have went longer, assuming she was still alive. Next, I removed the pea gravel mulch I was using in the raised bed, so I could get a closer look at the soil she was growing in, and more specifically, her roots. The soil, although moist a few inches deep, was not at the level I expected, and I think I have not been watering her enough. I don't think I'll be using a gravel mulch again. On the plus side, it did help prevent fungus gnats, as there was zero the whole grow, apart from an early week when I placed some solo cups to germinate on top of the bed, but after removing them, the fungus gnats disappeared with them. Also while inspecting the soil, I carefully dug down to inspect some of her primary roots. They were actually dry, despite the surrounding soil being moist. This could explain why she wasn't drinking much if any for the better part of the week. So, given her dry foliage, dry roots, and ripe-enough trichomes, I decided it was time to harvest her, earlier than expected. Let's also not forget that I was frightened this week with some high humidity scares, so growing longer, and possibly for no reason if she was dead or barely alive, was not in the cards. I've dealt with my fair share of bud rot before, and I would rather try what I have of her now, than to wait the extra week or so for her to be fully ripe. So, that is what I did, on the last day of the week -- I chopped her down, cut off some larger fan leaves, and hung her upside down. This, of course, was after removing the raised bed. It took me a while to empty about 45 gallons of soil so I could move it, but in doing so, I noticed a lot of beneficial critters, and nothing bad. Such critters included small centipedes, which feed on other insects, and soil mites which eat dead organic matter. I set the tent to dry at around 72F and 55 RH. And now we wait for about a week before trimming. One thing is for sure -- I am very proud of this grow, despite all these flaws. She smells incredible -- like pure citrus emanating throughout my house. This is a very strong-smelling plant. (Update: 4/20/19) Please stand by while they dry. (Update Everything is going great though! The smell is very strong now; no more cut grass smell. From looking at all three today, I believe that some of the smaller branches will be done drying and ready for trimming and weighing in a day or two. I have one guess for dry weight of Big Lemon, any other guesses?? Remember, the picture of Big Lemon hang drying looks like its two plants, but its all Big Lemon; I had to cut it off to be able to hang it. The amputated branch left of the main plant is bigger than my other two plants alone! (Update 5/2/19) Woah...Okay. So after drying the whole for about nine days, and trimming for four days, Big Lemon's dry weight SO FAR is about 430ish grams of super dense and sticky nugs. Its amazing that I got more big bud than I got popcorn nugs from such a big plant. I have one more 1/2 gal Mason Jar of untrimmed tops to finish, then I'll post pics or a vid of the weigh up and glamour shots etc.. Oh, almost forgot, Little Lemon produced about 40 grams of very nice bud. This surpassed expectations because, although it was planted on the same day as Big Lemon, it was the runt of the bunch because it got pushed out of the main tent that had all the lights and Co2 environment and everything. It spent much of late veg under a very weak light. I remember how limp it was when I gambled on it and chose to switch her over to 12/12. But it was totally worth it in the end! Alight back to work for me. Check back later today for pics, vids! (Final Update: 5219 @11:09pm PT) Its done. Its finally done! I had to trim both plants with my own two hands! So Exhausting, yet so rewarding. So above are several videos of the weighing. Grand total for Big Lemon is 14oz of prime top shelf nugs, and about 3oz of nice popcorn/LARF (they are separated as shown above in a video. Forgive me for not throwing it all together to weigh it, I spent a long, long, very long time trimming and sorting and canning the buds according to their respective grade/quality. I may add one more update to show their respective weights. Oh and little lemon produced about an 1 1/2 oz of prime nuggets and quite a bit of popcorn/LARF, which I haven't gotten around to weighing yet. So, Grand Grand total of Both Lemon OG Candy (amazing job with this beast of a strain, Philosopher seeds) is about 18.5oz, or 1lb 2.5oz for two plants; 15.6oz of which is entirely made up of top-shelf buds 😎 Damn I love SoCal, I didnt even need to run carbon filters because no one be trippin about a lil stink weed. Thanks to those for following this grow! Tell me what yall think! Cant wait to see some comments from all you growers out there. (Update: smoke review after a week or two of cure) This Lemon OG Candy had an extended veg period, about 4 months maybe a little longer, and I harvested her on day 56 of flower (recommended harvest 60-70 days) because of the size/distance to light and her root-bound problems. The results so far, a very uplifting and stimulating quality.

Ending week 7 and the bringing week 8 , all I can say is never read the box or believe that your plants are going to be done in 60 days lol now I could pull one of the bbm x nf90 s1 but imma wait another week see if I can’t purple her all the way through , bad for the other one is wider than the other phone with bigger better bad appeal for my stand point. I also took some lower flower to redirect so of that energy to the main tops I did this to everybody. I love these testers they came out phenomenal and they impressed me on just the over all beating they they took in veg lol. But yeah I should get hopefully close to 250 to 300 grams .

Here we are, ready, after a week of truly fruitful germination we have 20 beautiful plants all marked with the Z of Zamnesia. We have moved on to autoflowering, unlike many growers I have no prejudice against this type of plant, it is true that they are the easiest to make but it is also true that they have improved a lot in terms of flower quality and if once ease meant lower quality now even the most presumptuous old school flower children growers struggle to understand if a flower is from an autoflowering or a normal photoperiod plant. There are people who claim to recognize it from the flavor but then never succeed, it's funny how it works. I enjoy making them strip their heads with these magnificent new autoflowering plants. She is the Black Orchid I have never grown her but I have seen some truly phenomenal photos of this plant. I really hope they come out black. Hello Fellow Growers, Sorry to be posting week 8 during week 9 but it is what it is. All these pics and the video were shot on Saturday the 6th, the last day of week 8. They have actually recovered fairly well once they got a good feeding. No dought I lost some critical grow time. But from where they were heading to where they are today, was a pretty big rebound. If you watch the video (3 minutes), I explain the error of my ways. But I did learn something. The shorter, bushier of the 2 is finishing fast. You can see the amber in some of the Thricomes. The taller is several days to a week behind. The Trichomes are pretty much all milky and I don't want this one to go quite as far. From here out is it flush time. Should have some hanging plants to show by Saturday. Best to all!! So Week 9 is going to be harvest week. A bit earlier than it should be but I am sure I caused them to speed up since they were stressed, to say the least. The buds are really sticky, smell great and pretty strong now and especially in the taller plant the buds have taken on the Zkittle colors.

I keep increasing the light and she seems to enjoy it, growing new bud sides and leaves everyday. Defoliation continues. I can’t go below 25-26 Celcius due to increased light though. She has also been moved to back middle.

What can I say rainbow melon still has my heart even though it permed on me the first go truly a vigorous plant grow and Resilience surely a fun plant to grow. Hopefully, I can keep her from her this time keeping the Dry backs to a minimum and low stress turning once a week🔥💯
