08/23/2023 Starting week 2 flowering AK #1 is now 17" tall AK #2 is now 12.5" tall Bruce Banner is 16" tall All going well no more bug issues fed a little bit of nitrogen this week in the form of (901 C release) 1/4 strength trying to push some Carbon on her, no more Nitrogen will be used after week 2 of flowering, only P-K will be from Fox Farms Big Bloom 0-0.5-0.7 mixed with Bio-Remedy Hope that they have more stretch in them but time will tell. Either way flower are exploding all over her! Going to give them some Fresh Aloe Vera water, there loaded with Amino acids other good stuff. 08/27/2022 Not sure if auto flower goes through different flowering stages, if they do phase one is fleeting first flush of pistils fading and fresh ones popping up everywhere . Bruce Banner is a resin monster even some bigger leaves getting resin rails.

βš—οΈ FERMAKOR – Neutralisation & Filtering (Final Stage) 🧠 β€œFrom reactor to bottle β€” the first real batch.” --- 18.10.25 β€” Pulled about 1L of the finished FERMAKOR extract into a 5L bucket and added roughly 2L of clean water. Let it sit for a bit to calm down and cool off before touching the pH. Sample came back around pH 6.8–7, totally non-caustic β€” exactly what I wanted before acidifying for storage. Started adding phosphoric acid (59%) slow and steady, stirring between each pour. Ended up using about 50ml total before the colour flipped red on the GHE drops, landing the mix right around pH 3–3.5. No foam, no violent reaction, just smooth. Smell turned clean and metallic-sweet. --- Filtering setup Used a pillowcase and cheesecloth layered together as the filter stack. The pillowcase handled all the heavy junk, the cheesecloth grabbed the fine silt. It came out thick, dark amber, glossy β€” zero grit. I’ll leave it to rest overnight, open, just to let any tiny bubbles or gases clear out before bottling. --- Final note This batch is officially FERMAKOR B Concentrate V1.0 (1:4). Storage pH locked between 3.3–3.8, ready to bottle and shake before use. This one’s rich in P, K, Mg, and micros, while Calcium Nitrate will handle the N and Ca on the A-part side. --- 🌱 Closing the diary That’s it for this round β€” extraction phase complete. I’ll be closing this diary here and opening a new one called β€œFERMAKOR A+B Test Grow – V1.” Testing starts tomorrow on a single plant. Time to see if this brew actually works in the tent. πŸ“Έ All images videos to be added later β€” filter setup, pH colour, and final concentrate. Targona: 57 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 Eighth week of growing my Apple Fritter Automatic 🍎🍏🍎 Nutrients: As I mentioned last time, I switched to mostly organic nutrients from Plagron and BiobizzπŸ’“ - Plagron Alga Bloom - is a complete fertilizer designed exclusively for the flowering phase. It contains all the important substances that the plant easily absorbs 🌸🌾 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Plagron Sugar Royal - Sugar Royal is a supporting enzymatic fertilizer designed exclusively for the flowering phase. It contains hormones, enzymes, vitamins and trace elements necessary for proper flower development🍭🍭🍭 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Plagron Green Sensation - Green Sensation is a professional flower stimulator and activator. It contains all the necessary ingredients to support flowering and also the formation of sugars, and thus the overall yield 🌊🌿 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JUNGLE X Environ is a highly effective complex preparation for stimulating flower formation. 🌸🏡️ ---------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------- BioBizz Bio pH - is an organic pH regulator. An aqueous solution of citric acid, which is naturally found in citrus fruits πŸ‹πŸ‹ - I didn't use it this time, because the pH of the dressing was 6.5 + ---------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------- BioBizz Calmag - 100% vegan and certified product Calmag is made from calcium carbonate and magnesium sulfate, supplemented with humic acid. Unlike other products, the all-natural Biobizz CalMag does not contain any nitric acid and therefore does not affect the NPK values or EC of the solution πŸ’©πŸ’© ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Terra Aquatica pH test kit - Very reliable, easy to use and inexpensive. The pH Test Kit conveniently replaces expensive pH meters. It includes a wide range from 4.0 to 8.5. 🌈 General: Apple Fritter Automatic 🍎🍏🍎 - The plant is getting more and more beautiful, its buds are getting thicker, they are really all white, as if they are covered in sticky resin. The stem, leaves and buds have turned a little pink. I wondered if it was a lack of phosphorus, but based on the nutrients I give them and the overall pH, which is 6.5, I assume that this is the classic coloration of the plant during maturation. πŸŒ±πŸ΅οΈπŸ’šNevertheless, I preferred to add Calmag to the watering yesterday and also feed it with Alga Bloom in case it lacks important elements. Training: The plant is very tall. Sometimes I turn it all over so that the light also shines on the side branches on the side of the tent. Otherwise, I don't do any training, I just cut off some excess leaves in the classic way. Plus, this girl doesn't have many leaves, she's a beautiful genetics as usual with strains by Zamnesia πŸ’šπŸŒžπŸŒž Light: Mars Hydro TS1000 The plants respond effectively and the light is technically very well managed - I try to have 18 cm between the light and the plants, so I move it up regularly πŸ’‘πŸ’‘πŸ’‘ Thanks for the likes :) See you soon 😍😍

I'll be updating the comment with the daily log shortly, but figured I'd get the photos and weekly overview up. I started off this week with a topping at about the 4th node, leaving the larger fan leaves on for now. I then left then alone for a bit while I waited for the new branches at the nodes to grow out, rotating as needed. By the end of the week, they had all bushed back up with new foliage and growth. I also included photos pf the flowering mother plant to keep up with that sneak peak. She still wasn't showing signs of flowering, so I gave her an extra 24 hours of darkness to hopefully kick start the process. As I went to go shut unplug the light source, I noticed that there was a smaller light leak from one of the vent ports, so I also made sure to close that up. At the end of the week when she started to show signs of flowering, I defoliated her to help with light penetration, as she's got massive fan leaves. You'll see in the photos that I took that opportunity to decarb the trim as well. I'm sure there's little to no THC-A, but whatever other compounds are present should make for a nice addition to some butter later on down the road. I just won't factor it in when approximating the potency of the final product.

Hello Growers and Tokers! πŸ‘‹ πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎ πŸ§‘β€πŸŒΎ.πŸ”₯πŸ’¨ THE MOST PHOTOGENIC Thinking about changing the title of the diary to that.. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I swear the camera loves this one.. And it's not the placement because I've tried moving them to that same spot and the pictures just don't come out the same. I guess the others just need to mature a bit more and they'll be more appealing in pictures because in person they really are.. 😍 Green sensation is really bringing it to the table. Buds are getting fat, stinky and sticky! I'll have to add a bit of support for sure because some are starting to bend a bit. Smell is just grrreat! She's definetly not ready yet so those 40-45 days of flower aren't that correct.. No problem with me though, i'm glad they've got more time to rippen up. Not much difference in nutrients.. I do use 2ml/L of enzymes every 10 days or so in flower.. Noticed it does great work in the roots during flower. Hope you enjoy the pics and vids. Taken on day 42 of flower. Check out the other strains i've got going as well. Take care out there! One love!

Here are the comments. Continuing on with the sexy ultra awesome General Hydroponics EXPERT LEVEL NUTRIENTS which are making the trichomes and the smell go insane! Can I prove it's the new nutrient? Not at all because this isn't a rigorously conducted scientific experiment but anecdotally, it's making a difference. I have two new white widows that are growing using the expert schedule and they are the healthiest plants I have ever grown. Too bad I didn't start this autoflower with the full nutrients from the beginning. I've never had a prettier plant though, good genetics from Sweet Seeds.

So this week I have had to split the plants, one is really some way behind so I've managed to sweet talk the wife into letting me get another tent πŸ˜‰ this plant may be behind but it's fucking massive compared to the others, plenty of decent bud sites so now she has all the space she needs. I have to feed her by hand now rather than the wilma but that's no real problem. Can't wait to see what next week brings already. If your running something similar or even if your not give me a follow and I'll follow you back ✌️🏻

What a journey it has been from seed! I made a lot of mistakes in the first few weeks of this growing journey. I feel like I had a mini-crash after finishing the first year of grad school, and although I am growing cannabis as part of my research project, I haven't been the greatest at paying attention to it. This is not an excuse. It has actually been a learning opportunity. I realized that my body needs proper schedules to function and grow, just like a plant. The problems with the plant have really been my own problems. Let's just say that a plant may be the reflection of the grower. First, the light cycles were wrong and inconsistent. I thought that I could manually control the light schedule for the plants and be alright. However, I was wrong. My sleep schedule has been very inconsistent for the past few months. Mainly because we are living through a pandemic, and secondly because I am a graduate student πŸ˜‚. How naive was it of me to think that a plant could follow my own rhythms? I guess it highlights my 'plant blindness.' Second, the light intensity was low and PH levels high. In the last five days, I have learned that plants are living organisms (I knew this, but my plant blindness is quick to dismiss it, I need to stop fighting these "plant voices" (signals)) that require a proper environment to grow, similar to humans. Of course, a plant is not human, but it is alive and living. It needs water, a regular schedule (light (active) /darkness (rest), oxygen, nutrients, and an overall good environment to grow. Concern about the size of my plant at five weeks, I decided to conduct a few experiments at home. Here are my notes: Friday, July 23, 2021, I took the plant out of the tent at 6:00 AM and placed it in front of my backyard window that faces the Eastside, perfect for sunrise. On that day, I had a few errands to run, and when I arrived home, it was 2:30 PM. The sun was now hitting the West side of my house, and I had to move the plant in front of my bedroom window. At around 7:00 PM, I went to look at the plant and noticed that its leaves were looking plumpy. So, I decided to take a timelapse to see what I would be able to record. During "magic hour" (sunset), I recorded and witnessed the plant moving with the rhythms of the sun. Plant, like humans, function at their best when they are synchronized with their circadian rhythm. The pandemic has definitely disoriented us to the point that it has disrupted all of our schedules. To this day, I feel tired from everything we have all been through; how could I possibly think that a plant would thrive with such a messed-up schedule? The time lapse made me realize that the plant needs some structure to thrive, and so do I. So, as much as I like to think that I can be disciplined and follow a plant's schedule, I cannot. So, I went to the store and bought the Globe Suite smart plug to automate and schedule the light cycle to 12hrs of light and 6 hours of darkness. Saturday, July 24, 2021, the plant woke up to the set schedule of the lights. I checked on the plant first thing in the morning, around 9:30 AM. The leaves look much greener and thicker than they did the day before. Sunday, July 25, 2021. I was away overnight and did not arrive home until 2 PM. The plant looks twice the size it was on Friday! Today, I will water the plant. I got a PH test kit and realized that the way that I measured the PH level, the first few weeks was wrong πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ½. I measured the PH correctly, to 5.9, and added some Reefertilizer grow nutrients to the water. I watered from the top, distributing the water evenly around the stem. My partner pointed to me that the lights seemed dim for the stage of the plant's life. So I had my lights set at 100 watts running at 20 % πŸ˜…. I realized that I had not increased the light intensity since the first few weeks of vegetation πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ½. So I increased the intensity to 100 watts running at 60%. Monday, July 26, 2021. First check-in 7:00 AM: The plant looks like it loves all of the new changes that I have made! It is finally growing πŸ€— The sun is out, but it is not as intense as it should be because tiny particles of smoke are present in our air due to the wildfires, and they create a filter that makes the human eye see the sun blood red. It is quite apocalyptic. Regardless, I decided to take the plant out from the tent and record a time-lapse. It is fascinating how much movement plants have despite showing no noticeable signs of movement (to the human eye). Tuesday, July 27, 2021. It has been five days since I have made big changes to the plant's schedule and environment. The plant is finally showing good signs of growth, and its leaves colours have changed to a deep green. I am not watering the plant today, but I am spritzing it with water. I decided to take another time-lapse of the plant, but this time inside the tent. As I was setting up the tripod for my camera, I accidentally increased the humidifier πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ½. Luckily, I noticed within a reasonable timeframe and reduced the humidity and made the environment better. I increased the light intensity to 100 watts at 100%. The plant will stay in the tent all day today because it is raining β˜”οΈ.
