After three weeks in the solo cups I transplanted to 1 gallon pots and three days later I noticed yellowing on one of the plants so in 16oz of water I mixed in 1/4 tsp of Epsom salt and gave it to both plants in fear of magnesium deficiency but the other plant is thriving and growing strong. 2/4/19 - I'm really pleasantly surprised by Tangie'matic. I expected stress and stunting after topping, but she's pushing back with vigor and growth! I'm relieved, as this is my first topping experiment, and I'm doing it with an autoflower. Naturally, learning something new comes with a certain degree of uncertainty, but I feel like Tangie has been more of a partner in this learning process. The growth has continued to explode using all organic ingredients. Been using an aerated compost tea with worm castings every other watering. Used coast of main soil with buildasoil dry amendments plus some coast of Maine bloom.

It’s been a long day potting these girls into there new home. All is looking well. Little bit of heat stress but ime sure they will cope 🤞

The colours are popping! I’ve started to taper off the nutrients, I don’t typically “flush” the plants, but rather taper nutrients down until I have been able to give straight phd water for the last 3-4 feeds, making sure to water until I get about 5-10% runoff. I’ve tried both methods , the other being that I pour like 10 gallons of water through the plant, and I can’t tell the difference with my smoke, still clean and very tasty. I did a small defoliation at the end of the week, and added a support pole for the 1 lady in the far back, she was already starting to lean… just a couple of weeks to go !

Maybe watered a little too much

Hey everyone 😊. A nice week is over, which I would like to tell you about here. Flowering day 8 Today the tent was cleaned, the humidifier filled and the plants checked for health. Flowering day 9 Today was watered with 1.2 L (see fertilizer table) and the plants were sprayed. Flowering day 10 Today there was nothing to do except for a check :-). Flowering day 11 The tent was cleaned, everything checked for health and the humidifier refilled. Flowering day 12 The electronics have been completely checked for functionality again. Flowering day 13 Today it was poured again, but this time with 1 l each. Flowering day 14 Today the tent was cleaned again and the health of the plants checked. Day 40 from Seed ( 3 in flower): Yet another good week for these rapidly changing ladies. I have kept them in Mega crop at 1g/L and they seem very happy at that. This Mega crop is the best nute I have used in decades of growing. so simple to use in all aspects and the results are amazing. I am also blown away by the ecothrive living soil. now it has kicked into gear it is killing the coco girls by a mile in size for every strain. I have backed off the silica and calmag now to see how they get on with just plain water and the nutes the spil makes itself on them. The coco girls are getting a .5g upping of MC next feed now they are in flowering and their stretch mode. My fears of too much N have been put to rest now and it was the light intensity causing issues across the crop and not nute strength. #1 has had to be staked down and tied back daily to keep her from taking off vertical. The 90° bend early on has not done her a bit of harm at all and even with the trunk split and spread , she is building on the support for it as she packs the size on. Her pot has a great mulch layer with some excellent greenery low down to die back and be the next layer of food below the soil. All my removed leaf and tips have been put into this layer now too so should be perfect for the "no-till" 2nd use of them ( fast buds fast flowering girls will fly in them !!) The coco girls are responding great to their training too. They have some thick stem growth so are planning some serious bud weight. I will be thinking them out a little in the next few days to get all those sites lit up for their push to buds. Brilliant strain from fast buds and cannot wait to sample their delights. Thats when the Los pots will prove even more viable . fully organic and no need to flush.. Catch you in your grows and a huge thankyou to Heather at Fast buds for being a top rep and so responsive. The High intensity was to strong (clearly my fault) in the beginning which stunted her overall stretch, she however still delivered super dense, terpene and trichome loaded buds.
