Start of week 7, everything is going alright. Removed some leaves, done SCROG, increased amount of nutrients. Added Nirvana from AN. No more FloraBlend. 5 litres of water from now on. Also removed some LST points. Day 43 - 5L with nutrients, removed leaves, done SCROG. Nirvana added. Day 45 - As you can see on photos, buds are actually purple. I'm fckin happy. Day 47 - 5L water. Vegetation over end of week 8 I'm really happy with how these look I've ended up with 8 I'm happy to put into flower they are all different strains and range in size from 90cm to 120cm the strains are Barney's farm Wedding Cake Pink Kush Mimosa Evo Runtz Muffin Divine seeds Divine Indica Opium Anesia seeds Banana Kush Pink Starburst The feed I've used is great I really like this range and would recommend it to any grower and its all I will be using along with the Monkey Nutrients range these for me are the best European and UK Nutrients well worth anyone's money I will be defoliating and lollipopping them soon so I can get as much exposure as possible Also some of my cuttings have rooted so I can help my friend out I switched to Clonex rooting gel and have had some luck so I'm really happy (see pics) Thanks for the help along this journey and thanks always to my sponsors @HydroproWashington @anesiaseeds @Divineseeds @monkeynutrients See yous all next week with some better photos of each plant before and after some much needed defoliation Peace out

Update week 2 of Bloom

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. little bit of defoliation upped the ppms to around 500 ppm just fluvic acid and AB GT Coco. Coming along ok definitely a big difference in the strains. I think the GSC will be pretty tall after stretch limiting options on light power. Currently running the light at 50% and 1000ppm co2 Access to tent pretty tight and difficult to get to the GSC have been topping 2nd round and more LST stretching out a bit but the space will crowd up in stretch. Next time I’ll do 4 instead of 6 all same strain.

I haven’t kept track of the exact number of days since sprouting. But the two oldest plants are in their tenth week. In calendar this would probably be the last week of feeding before flushing. I’ll try to keep going with these ones until the younger two are more ready too, currently only in their eighth week. The last grow had a younger plant which I cut a little early. It was a nice, bright clear headed smoke. But i think we prefer the more mature end. The white widow buds are dense in white pistols. They are smaller, but there are a lot of them. They feel more dense than any I have grown so far. Interested to see if that density is still in the dry bud. I’m sick of fluffy buds. The gorilla glue buds are dark and bulbous, but way looser. They are thick with sticky trichomes. The trichomes in the older plants are about 3/4 clear 1/4 cloudy with no amber yet. The younger ones are still all clear.

It was a wonderful journey, I really had the honor of doing this girl many times, this time even close to the Monster Zkittlez with which they generated the Runtz who was also in the grow. Super modern family situation, I wanted to try to figure out which one I liked best, and I still haven't been able to. at least I'm still tasting Runtz's first flowers and it's heavenly but the freshly picked Gelato and the upcoming Zkittlez are scary just to see them. Super resin, it really looks fake, I also have some macro photos that will make you cry. The resin is everywhere the trichomes are even in the largest leaves the scent is of the garden of eden. wow. Show. Really nice. It was freshly cleaned I want to try to do the resin the first time and then I have freshly cleaned and hung the whole girl upside down under the crop data next week when I clean and can give the detail. Gorgeous. Before being collected, she did two music therapy days, one of which in the dark with frequencies for plants and together we listened: 1 - Paolo Conte - "Gelato" al Limon 2 - Raekwon - Ice Cream to stay on the "Geato" theme and then all the M83 discography to be collected with the very famous Outro of Interstellar really seems to pass to a better life listening to that stuff. 2018-03-13 Week 11 Day 1 As I mentioned last week, the girls are growing like crazy since I changed to 600W HPS,and even though they haven't grown so much higher, they are definetly wider because of LST. My growroom is only about 1.8m2, so now the girls are so wide that there's not enough space for them to get wider, so now I will let them stretch. Nr 1 is 43 cm Nr 2 is 44 cm 2018-03-14 Day 2 I LST'd the girls one last time and also defoliated them mildly so all the tops get as much light as possible, hopefully increasing the yield in the end. I also turn the girls 1/4 lap every day to ensure that all sides of them get as much exposure to light as possible, it would've been great to have some kind of turntable that turns the girls 1 lap in 12 hours,, but until I find out a device that does just that,I'll keep on doing it manually. Added some videos for you to enjoy. 2018-03-18 Day 6 Watering the girls with 2l of plain water (pH 5.8), the soil were dry after 3 days since they got water and nutes. I want to release the remaining dry nutes buried in the soil. Some of the girls got burnt leaves but not from nutes, but from the hps-lamp, they've stretched so much so I raised the lamp about 10 cm, but now I'll keep an eye on the distance between the lamp and canopy, don't want them to get burnt again. But lucky me, only leaves got burnt - no top got harmed 👍 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Strain information: The word synergy is a business term first quoted in the early eighties to describe mutual enhancement through interaction or cooperation, where the end result gained is greater than the sum of the parts used. Going to try to squeeze a tester meph plant into my inhouse genetics run. Things will be tight! Super excited, this strain sounds delicious! 1/4/22 at 4:20 put bean into paper towel. Checked it 20 hours later and it had cracked with a small tap root. Left it to grow a larger tap root for an additional 24 hours and not much had changed. So I transplanted to its final 2 gallon home. Praying she pokes through in the next day or so!

Now she is smelly!

Hello everyone! I promised to track this grow very closely this time and ufortunately life got in the way. Here is a quick sumup of the grow. First of all- One of the sour stomper plants unfortunately didn't make it. It died at about week 4. The main stem somehow had rubbed/broken down. That's why it was falling down. It was almost like a mini beaver had chewed it off at the point where the stem touches the riot rooter. At first I thought nothing much of it, maybe it hasn't been rooted in quite well yet or something. And I was constantly touiching it when watering, that made it worse. Soo the leaves were dropping and the plant looked very weak. Then I decided cut thr rapid rooters top layer and found out the severity of the problem. Tried to tape it up and other things, but it was too late. At the end it appeared all good as the remaing plants got so big the I had some space issue so I wouldn't have been able to fit another plant in anyway. At that time I finally made my self-draining saucers. I took me a while and a lot of effort, but finally they were ready and working well. I also installed the self watering system and flowering was starting. Pretty soon I started noticing weird leaf symtoms. Brown spots, different kind. Some plants had it more, some less. Sour Stomper looked pretty good throughout the grow. Mango smiles seemed sensitive and Strawberry Nuggs were pretty strong until the end. The grow was basically me experimenting with the setup- changing watering schedules , changing ppm, ph and all that stuff to keep the leaves looking healthy and it was very hard I have to admit. Probably my hardest grow in that regard. But somehow, the bud leaves remained healthy and the buds really fattened up good. I got away with an amzing 700G dry bud harvest which was def a new record from one grow. And the bud quality is very good too! Next time definetly no more than 4 plants as they got pretty big and I thought it was a little overcrowded. I was doing some good defoliation too. I should have defolited strawberry nugs more tho. Sour Stomper got some amazing bud development from top to bottom because it was was growing next to strawberry nuggets which were really small most of the grow. They actually took the most time to harvest even longer than Mango smile. Mango smiles were ready quite early. Sour Stomper was just in time! I topped sour stomper and both Mangoi smiles, left SNs both normal. Looking back at it, the way I grow them, Should have topped SNs too. Would probably have more space in the middle and longer side branches. Probably wouldn't have been as bushy! I followed the full Terra aquatica feed chart until the end. I was supplementing with CalMag a lot as I thought the symptoms could have been from a CalMag deficiency as this was my first grow with RO water. Overall a very challenging but good grow at the end. First time no mold problems. A record breaking yield for me. Basically surpassed the upper limit for all plant probable harvest sizes. Got good smelling quality bud. Very happy overall and will continue experimenting with Mephisto beans in the future for sure! I guess what I like the most about Mephisto is how close to description the plant is, very stable genes in that regard. Next time I will also have to start feeding plants higher PPM feed faster at the very start. and during flowering. But still not 100% sure what caused the leaf symptoms.

BlueCush (Seedsman) Day14 from sprout. Started a light nutrient feed this week. About quarter strength of what is recommended. Also added neem oil to soil drench as I noticed a couple of gnats in the air and don't want that to become an issue.
