Week 6 is in the books! This plant has beautiful bud structure. Tons of trichomes pushing out. I have smells amazing. Overall great plant in every aspect. Easy to grow. Took nutrients very well. From here on out it's coasting.

Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. She's also showing light green around the leafs maybe slight magnesium deficiency. 10/11/2019 - Yellow leafs showing up really fast so I 'flushed' the medium with 1l of 6.4 PH plain water, watered until some run off start to showing, change the watering plan again, now I only water when the pot feels light and dry at the bottom. 13/11/2019 - Pot was really light and dry at the bottom so I gave her 1.5l of water with 0,75ml of Grow, 1,5ml of Bloom and 0.75ml of Max BioBizz PH 6.5 until some runoff started to appear I think was too much again : also added a work-supplement led strip light. 14/11/2019 - Leaves looking pale raise the light to 45cm instead of the recommended by manufacture 25-40cm.

We're into the start of September and they've only just begin flowering. Hopefully they get to finish. It's looking to be mid to late October!

Its my first time I grew anything. It went very smooth even with a broken ankle. Strain took any and all abuse extremely well. SCROG, LST, Topping all went really well but i didn't have a great shape or structure in the SCROG. just tucked any open space without much planning. getting around the hard to reach places was super rough and neck/back/knee breaking. I struggled to get the proper wind on the leaves, or at least I could have lessened the wind burn. The clip on fans were good but annoying to place, and unreliable at holding their position because of tent negative pressure, their poor design and the space confinements. I left a lot of genetic potential as it was my first grow and I was not smooth. Overall very very happy with the 210+g at harvest, very happy with the flush results, and very happy with the harvest window I chose (2 weeks past guidelines but 1 week away from end of window (week 10 of flower). I tried smoking the wet bud, it was disgusting and pointless. I tried basically every day the worst quality popcorn buds that had yet to dry, they were moving from disgusting to just flat out terrible, to not the worst, to just bad, and then finally after 2 weeks they didnt taste good but were just low quality bush. After week 1 of the cure the bud was neutral. and after 2 weeks of cure the bud was very smooth. Now into a full month of cure the bud tastes smooth and is nice. As far as smell goes, when I harvested it was pure jet fuel. It reeeeeeeaked like cleaning product, really diesel and extremely pungent. It would tickle inside your noise and feel like punch in the face. Now that its cured properly it lost a lot of that almsot burning pungent feel inside the noise and just smells like good weed aka gas.

Day 28-35 (May 28th - June 4th) (Day 29) My rooted blackberry #3 clone looks like it’s finally starting to reveg. It’s starting to stretch it’s internodes but no new growth yet. Nearly all 9 are pushing roots now. What a waste of time taking clones in flower! Won’t ever do that again. Grapefruit #1 has a twin! I thought it was just an odd formation on the taproot but two seedlings are pushing out. I wonder if it will be genetically identical. It’s definitely slower growing than the other one so who knows. I will try to train them apart when the time comes. (Day 30) I think the EC/PPMs are too high on nearly every plant including my veggies. The promix is actually really hot for a “blank” medium coming in at 1800. Adding compost and amendments to that is probably raising it to 2500+ at least. It should self balance the more I water it but I know for a fact I can get better growth by leaching the soil around each plant. Next time I use promix for anything, I’m going to prewash it like coco coir and add a dash of oyster shell flour for pH and calcium. (Day 32) Purple tuna is now big enough to start lst on now. I’m going to wait a little while for the slurricanes. (Day 33) One of the grapefruits has a twin that actually popped... I’m going to leave it and see how she turns out (Day 35) I’m going to prune off the lower leaves on each plant. I was going to lst Purple tuna but it’s so vigorous I may as well just top/mainline it. Autoflowers are looking established and should be taking off this week. I wonder if this will give them enough time to veg into decent sized plants before they flower. I won’t be topping or even doing lst. My goal is 22 big spear colas from each plant. I’m going to get all my rooted clones into 1.7 gallon pots over the next week or so.

Day 33-40 (May 24th-May 31st) (Day 34) I just found a herm branch on the tight blueberry pheno. It looks like a random pollen sack opened right above a lower branch. I removed the sack but I saw a small amount of dust fall onto one of the lower branches. I’m going to leave it to see if it will pollinate that small branch at all. I spent a good 5 minutes looking closely for bananas or claws but couldn’t find anymore. The main bud is clearly unaffected so I will just leave it unless it is visibly seeding itself. Too bad because I’m really excited for this plant. (Day 36) Not a lot has happened since I flushed them. Growth actually looks healthy and I don’t see any deficiencies on anything yet. (Day 37) Both of these badazz cheese phenos are picture perfect and easily hold up against Canadian and California quad grade. I might try to reveg them at the end and take some clones. They have this unique pungent, grassy, sour milk smell that is just wonderful. The density and bud structure is looking great too. This whole plant will probably take 3 minutes to trim if that. (Day 38) Just found a banana on the shitty blueberry pheno. This pheno is trash and I would honestly throw it away if it didn’t mess up the 3 perfect rows. It has almost no frost, no smell, is airy and has bad structure. I’ve actually never seen a plant with such little frost. Even outdoors. (Day 39) I think most of this tent will be done by day 60 but I will probably ride it out until day 70+. I don’t think the blueberries or the jacks will fill out very much either way but taking it too day 70 will ensure maximum production from each plant.

Ich musste mich etwas nach dem Wetter richten. Der Sommer hat sich etwas Zeit gelassen. Wir hatten hier noch einige kalte Nächte wo man die Damen dann zu viel hin und her räumen müsste. Dazu auch nicht so viel Sonne wie man sich wünscht. Das soll sich aber in der nächsten Zeit ändern. Um den werdenden Ladys bestmögliche Bedingungen im Outdoor-Bereich zu bieten muss man sich leider etwas nach dem Wetter richten. Daher werden die Seeds kommenden Mittwoch in ein Glas Wasser mit Seedbooster Plus von Plagron für 15/16 Stunden eingelegt bevor es zum keimen in die Anzuchttöpfe geht. Wenn alles nach Plan läuft, erblicken die Ladys spätestens Sonntag das Licht der Welt. Dann werden sie für die erste Woche kontrolliert im kleinen Anzuchtzelt angezogen. Spätestens den Sonntag darauf an Tag 7 kommen die jungen Damen in jeweils 11L Stofftöpfe. Die drei Ladys werden dann bis zu den ersten Blüteanzeichen in einem kleinen Gewächshaus Platz finden. 3 Seeds Auto Candy Bubatz XL von DutchPassion wurden in ein Glas mit Wasser und 2 Tropfen Seedbooster von Plagron für ca 15 Stunden eingelegt. Danach ging es für die Seeds in kleine Anzuchttöpfe. Mit einer kleinen Heizmatte unter den Anzuchttöpfen und den Kuppeln auf den Töpfen wird für das warm/feuchte Klima gesorgt, das die Seeds anfangs benötigen um zu keimen. Am Tag an dem die Ladys das Licht der Welt erblicken, kommen die Kuppeln ab und die Ladys spüren dann auch ihre ersten Luftzüge. Nach 3 Tagen in den Anzuchttöpfen hat eine Lady und nach 4 Tagen haben auch die beiden anderen Ladys das Licht der Welt erblickt. Das Substratgemisch besteht aus ca 75% BioBizz Lightmix und ca 25% Cocos mit Perliten. Auf das fertige Substratgemisch kommen dann noch ca 5% Megaworm von Plagron. Angegossen wurde mit 1g/L BioEnhancer und 1ml/L PowerRoots. Der ph-Wert wurde vor dem gießen auf 6.0 korrigiert. Jede Lady bekam für den Anfang ca 30ml in die Anzuchttöpfe. Möge der Grow beginnen.

one week to go! Thats going to be a lot of work

9/22/2024 Added 80W LED lights below the canopy. Tilted the other 200W fixture to point into the canopy. Relocated circulation fans to keep air moving through the bush! Great flower development is continuing. The stretch is almost complete, but it is still stretching. Super cropping may be right around the corner. With one bucket removed from the system, the new system volume is right around 7-8 gallons. 9/23/2024 Forced to do a water change after a massive spike in PPM up to 2400. Cycled the system with about 5 gallons of pH water and pumped off about 4 gallons. Replaced 3 gallons containing appropriate nutrient concentration to get PPM back to 800 -900 range. Increased lights to 85%. Super cropped some of the lanky main stems that were growing right at the lights. Light directly over the plant is pretty much maxed out on height at this point. Looking to increase intensity by the end of this week to 90% and then to 100% by the end of week 5. Continuing to defoliate larger fan leaves a few per day. 9/24/2024 Plant is looking incredibly healthy even after the water issues. Some trichomes starting to develop on sugar leaves and flowers. There are tons of flower sights, I am excited to see how they continue to develop!!! 9/25/2024 Moved the light up to its last hanging position. There are only a few more inches of adjustment left. Trying to avoid late supercropping if I can. 9/26/2024 Pruning large fan leaves and fan leaf overgrowth. Looking to leave a lot of the smaller leaves for sugar trim collection if possible. Humidity is not an issue yet, but working to maintain 50-60% is getting close to maxing out my setup. Continuing with light defoliation will hopefully help in managing humidity. 9/27/2024 Have been adding pH-adjusted water as well as reduced nutrient concentration to keep PPM 800-900. Prioritizing bloom nutrients and keeping small amounts of micro and grow in the mix, diamond nectar at around 4mL/gallon.

Nov. 6 - Week 5 begins. I am seeing calyx in a few spots so I expect pistils at any moment. Her smell is also starting to develop and I suspect she'll be a real stinker in the near future. Nov. 11 - It is not doing good but is still growing. Nov. 12 - I moved her to the 3'x3' I considered putting King Tut in, with some better light. I also removed 6 or 8 fan leaves from the main stalk and almost took off some lower branches but decided against doing so.
