Week 7 - Second Week of Flower The Donutz squad is deep into the stretch phase, and the tent is buzzing with energy. The plants are loving the Greenhouse Feeding Bloom nutrients, responding with healthy, vibrant growth and an impressive stretch. The SOG canopy is coming together beautifully, and adjustments are being made to keep everything dialed in for maximum light penetration and efficiency. Key Updates: Stretch in Full Swing: The plants are stretching aggressively, shooting upwards and making their presence known. The increased height is filling out the tent and setting the stage for a dense canopy of colas. Strategic Defoliation: Early in the week, I took a close look at the plants and spotted plenty of leaves and lower growth around the net level that would never get sufficient light. Those unnecessary leaves and weak shoots were removed, allowing for significantly better light penetration and airflow. The difference was immediate — the canopy now looks cleaner, and light is reaching the lower sections more effectively. Nutrients & Care: Flowering Nutrients: The Greenhouse Feeding Bloom continues to work its magic. The plants are showing no signs of deficiencies or stress, and their growth is vigorous and healthy. Watering: Still keeping it chill with reverse osmosis (RO) water, ensuring clean and balanced hydration. Observations: The canopy is filling out evenly, with strong, uniform growth across all plants. The lollipopping and defoliation have paid off, creating a clean and efficient canopy where every bud site is getting its share of light. Looking Ahead: As the stretch continues, I’ll keep monitoring the plants closely for any additional defoliation needs. The second net is on standby for when the nugs start stacking to provide support and maintain an even canopy. With the light intensity gradually increasing, the plants are poised for explosive bud production in the coming weeks. The Florida Gang vibes are strong — this tent is on its way to producing some serious heat!

4/9/25 This plant is beyond frosty. Stacking up super nicely. Seems like she will yeild quite a bit. My only gripe is that she has like no smell at all. Using the foil as a soil cover is working quite nicely. the top soil is getting filled with roots quite well. Top dressed 1tsp of Bloom 1tsp microbe charge 1tsp bloom

58 days of flowering: I started cutting the most mature apicals 42/57. I will wait for the remaining 7-14 days. first 42: 370.5g

This beautiful girl has started flowering, she is a real monster, she is feeling good, I will report the flowering fertilizer in a week

One more week to catch up on

Stopped feeding this week. I'm pretty sure they should be ready to chop in a week or 2. I hate looking at them with my microscope so I've gotten pretty good a judging when they are finished. I love ILGM. They always come thru with solid genetics!!

Week 7 was a fairly uneventful but stable week. The plant continues to look healthy and maintains a compact structure with tight internodal spacing. 🌿 Light intensity remained at around ~1000 PPFD, with stable environmental conditions at ~25°C and ~55% RH. Watering was done every 2–3 days depending on pot weight, using approx. 3L per watering with RO water + CalMag. During this week, the plant received BioTabs Bio PK and one application of Green House Bio Enhancer. 💧 Bud development progressed slightly, with the flowers beginning to swell a bit more, but overall changes compared to the previous week were still moderate. Stacking is slowly starting but not very pronounced yet. The plant remains fully green and shows no signs of deficiencies or stress. Trichome production is visible but still relatively light compared to other plants in the tent. Overall, this week marks a steady continuation into mid flower. Development is slower compared to the Apricots, but the plant remains healthy and stable, with potential for denser bud formation in the coming weeks. 🌱💪

Not long now looking great

Well week 3 started on Monday, I'm late to the party, lol. Everything is going pretty decent so far. One surprise though...they have a smell. They didn't at this stage last time. Weird, lol. I gave them a slight trim and will be done with that until flowering. They seem very happy! ✌️❤️😁🍀🎶 EB

Day 29: Beginning of week Problem: there are some flies in grow room and treatment will start from today to discover what they are and how to get rid of them. we will let soil on top get dry and hang a few yellow stick to catch them. Light will be changed to 600W next week. I caught one of bugs and I guess it's a fungus gnat. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 30: Fungus Gnats Update: there were no more adult one and plants are looking better. CCA1,CCA2,CCB1 had their Nutrient feed in big pot after transplanting stress with 6.3 PH and 1.2 EC. CCA1 had 2L Nutrients mixed with water with 100 ml Run off (7.3PH and 7.5EC). CCA2 had 2L Nutrients mixed with water with 100 ml Run off (7.8PH and 6.4EC). CCB1 had 2L Nutrients mixed with water with 250 ml Run off (7.6PH and 5.9EC). CCB2 had a dry day CCC1 had dry day so fungus gnats wont attack this pretty lady. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 31 All the plants were fed with Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra foliar feeding. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 32: Fungus Gnats Update: I made Cinnamon mixed with hot water, after 24 h this mixture been sprayed everywhere. CCA1 and CCA2 had a dry and normal day. CCB1 Had some defoliation CCB2 and CCC1 had their Nutrient feed (6.3PH and 1.7EC) CCB2 had only 1L CCC1 had 2.5 L Nutrients mixed with water with 150 ml Run off (8.0PH and 7.3EC). CCC1 had her last veg fed and she had more LST and Defoliation. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 33: it was a dry day for all the ladies. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Day 34: Dry tea had been mixed with top of the soil in pot. It was a dry day for CCA1,CCA2,CCB1 but some LST were performed on them. CCB1 had 1L of water with 6.1PH and 0.4 EC. CCC1 had more defoliation and LST. we wont perform any training on her for next week so she can get a full recovery with good flowering nutrients. CCC1 had 3.5L of water(6.1PH and 0.4 EC) with a 500ml Run off(9.3PH and 6.1 EC). I gave her more water so she can give more run off before starting flowering nutrients on her. I hung all the branches upside down in the closet. Thanks to the help of an air conditioner I keep the temperature at 23C and the humidity at 50%. When after a bending the branches will break (prematurely bend) then the drying will be complete and the tanning phase will begin. Initially I had problems with Ca and Mg deficiency, in fact the plant has grown less than the other, but I am still satisfied with the result. I usually don't weight buds when they are wet because it's just a waste of time. When they are dry I will update the diary with the precise weight. PS the same day I harvested my country rejected the decriminalization of cultivation of weed (referendum of popular origin). How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. RS11 is showing off now , she’s got mad sticky this week and starting to fill out very nicely, keeping up with the defol weekly and tying her down she’s stopped stretching for sure and wants to bulk up .
