8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along. EDIT: TOOK A QUICK VIDEO AND A COUPLE PICS. HOPEFULLY WE GET THIS RAIN. IF NOT IM GOING TO TREAT THE THRIPS THAT ARE ON TWO PLANTS NOW. I THINK IM GOING TO GO WITH BT-K FOR NY PILLARS AND HOPE THAT THE DISH SOAP IN THE MIX KILLS THE THRIPS. THANKS. 8/18 We got the rain we were expecting. It was sheet rain for a few hourscand rained during the night. Everything was drenched and it was cold (50°F). I shook off the special kush that's way further in flower. I decided to use the leafblowrr despite the risk of spreading anything. I did it so that it wasn't ever blowing TOWARDS another plant but still. I was hoping it might blast off some thrips that might have survived that torrential rain. We've never had a dry summer like this. I'll moniter things. My water day is tomorrow so I assume that's when the girls will get their plant doctor dose. It's a great time of year for cannabis growers. We get to watch all the hard work we've put in literally pay off. It's very peaceful in the garden. EDIT: Went over at about one to check things out and do some minor defoliation. I checked on the thrip situation and I dont know if I blasted them off with the leafblower or if the rain washed them away bit I doubt it. Ivecmade the decision to treat these little bastards. It's on one plant but it's started to spread to another branch on another plant. I probably just overlooked it but still. Seeing that it rained like he'll and I'm seeing like zero signs of septoria I'm going to treat everything. At least I think I am. I haven't decided what to use. I think I could just use bt and soap and I'd probably be alright. I'd feel better doing that as it's something I'm familiar with. Outdoor growing. It's always something. 8/19 In the 40's last night. Hopefully that will help with the thrips. I was hurried and since today tops at 72° I only watered the 10th planet big mk ultra and the chem dog with preventative plant doctor. I'm not seeing hardly any septoria and if I do itsca random leaf. I mixed up 3tsp of citric acid and some Dawn in a 2 quart hand sprayer and treated the 10th planet that I thought had heat stress and the Pink kush in the ten gal that has the damage. I also treated a branch on my good tenth planet. It was the only branch with markings so I think I've got it early enough. I'm just wondering the best way to tackle this. The pink kush I'm sure, could handle spinosad. That strain is much later flowering. I'll see how the citriccacid works and go from there. If the other girls need water they'll get it when I get home alongcwith plant doctor. I've got some work to do. I'll keep this updated. Opinions are always welcome. ITS TIME FOR THERE PLANT DOCTOR PREVENTATIVE. 8/20 I watered the two kush in the back WITH THE PREVENTATIVE DOSE OF PLANT DOCTOR as they were dry I assume due to the wind they get. The one in the 50 I found one sep leaf. Looking carefully arpund the garden I can tell that I have a thrip infestation. First time I've fought this and it seems most people don't really know what to do besides predators at the beginning of the season. I'm too far along for spinosad. At least thats what I've been told. My pro buddy said to try to spot treat it. It's not bad bit I'm afraid it might be worse than I think. The plants I treated with citric acid look MUCH better. I think I'll dial the dosage of citric acid down and start with that tonight and switch up treatments. I can get rid of them it's just going to take a ton of work. I think I've had them before and I attributed to something else. I so think that the very early pink kush plants could handle spinosad. I hope so. The plants I watered the other day look overwatered. The plants I didn't water look GREAT. The special kush in late flower looks happier than I've ever seen her. The difference being we went from 104° one day to 72 the next with 46° night Temps. This week is highs of 70's lows of high 40°'s. I've got a lot of work cut out for me. Didn't do a video as I didn't have time but I'll do one. EDIT: Nothing needed to be watered at noontime and I'm trying to not overwater so I left them. The two I watered this morning are fine. I'm glad I caught this thrip bullshit when I did bit it sounds like it's going to be a HUUUGE pain in the ass to beat. One thing right after another. I've found those suction marks and the silvery shit they leave behind on pretty much every plant now. I'm thinking me using the leafblower (away from the other plants I THOUGHT) must have blown a bunch of them around. I'm not seeing a lot of bugs. Mainly feces. I did find a couple adults. Honestly, I've probably had these before and not known it or attributed it to something else. Literature I'd all about spinosad which of course I have on hand. AI told me I could use spinosad in early flower so MAYBE I could treat the pink kush plants with it but ill have to figure something else out for the other girls. I'm planning to treat tonight depending on where the research takes me. Not sure exactly what I'll be using but I'll keep this updated.

Moby Dick XXL Overview- Growth ~ *Grown under a spider farmer sf2000 only in a 4x4 tent* Initial Veg period was 5 weeks. I did not top her and I performed very minimal LST/ defoliation. I started her right of the bat with the microbials (Mammoth P/ Recharge) and then later added my NFTG feed int week 4. She really started to explode in growth in week 4/5. I honestly did not notice one yellow leaf up until the very end when I started to flush her. This strain is very very tolerant I would say and grows HUGE. I started seeing signs of flowering in week 6 and it was history from there! She exploded with even more growth nearly doubling its size in flower (3.5 ft to be exact) and she grew many massive colas slammed with milky trichomes and dank smells! Buds grow long and slender as opposed to small/dense like golf balls. Nutrients ~ She was potted into a 6-gal fabric airpot w/ M3 soil. Like I do with most my plants I started her slowly with just microbial feeds (w/Mammoth P and Recharge) and I did not start using my main nutrient line (Nectar for The Gods) until week 4. I really like using a foliar spray to feed also. I kept a simple feed schedule with this one and it worked out really well. I try to follow this schedule (Shown below) as close to possible with some obvious interruptions to it here and there. Microbe tea /VEG ONLY*foliar spray No Water Feed /VEG ONLY*foliar spray Microbe tea No Water /VEG ONLY*foliar spray No Water or Flush (every two weeks) Aroma/Taste ~ One of my favorite parts about this plant was its aroma. Very pine like but sharp and unique . Its described an exotic wood smell and I definitely get that. Its so refreshing and earthy it’s a VERY nice change of pace from the fruitier strains. You do get a slight citrusy smell but the pine/ wood smell is really the overpowering smell. It is by far the smelliest auto I have ever grown so I really really respect how well of a job Dinafem did on these genetics. They obviously didn’t just focus on the size of the plant! She has a nice smooth flavor that is earthy and sharp . The wood flavors linger a bit which is very nice! Effects~ Almost instantly felt it in my head. Blessed with a euphoric feeling of calmness and almost a numbness to reality. I felt it for sure and it was very potent. 1 joint had me feeling it very hard and th high lasted what felt like an hour or so which is not the case for me usually! Its attributed to the sativa dominance this plant has. Im so used to growing hybrids or indica dom plants I almost forgot what sativa highs felt like! Thanks Moby Dick XXl for slapping me in the face and reminding me!! Overall thoughts~ This plant is really easy to grow, and she stays true to her name and grows massive. This strain should be tried by any auto lover 100% I think Dinafem nailed this strain all across the board. Was pleasantly surprised with how tolerant to nutrients/ light she is. I had the light closer than suggested most her flowering and she didn’t stress at all. I cant really come up with a negative thing to say about this plant, maybe the buds are airy but that’s because she is very sativa dominant it was a bastard to trim her for sure. Drying/ Curing method~ -Dried for 11 days in a low humidity environment/ completely dark area with good airflow. Hung her as an entire plant with all the leaves still on her. -Dry trimmed her (very hard strain to trim) -Put right into mason jars and sealed shut for 3 days then began burping her (I am not using boveda ***) -Burped twice a day for 2 weeks straight and maintained 60-62 humidity. -Slowed down burping to once a night the third week .

Nothing but colas on all 3 this is going to be a big harvest. Another 2 or 3 weeks max.

8/26 FED TODAY. 2 GALLONS TO THE GARDEN. THE WATERING CAN I USE IS ABOUT A HALF GALLON SO THAT'S WHAT A NORMAL PLANT HAS BEEN GETTING. Wow. What a week I had last week. I'm hoping things are going up from here. It's overcast but we have a 90% chance of rain. Thunderstorms. I'm wondering if I should put my back tarp up. The wind doesnt seem too bad so I'll play it by ear. The remaining plants seem to be doing good to me. I wanted to let the soil dry out but I NEEDED to feed. Buds are popping up everywhere and increasing in size. Earwigs still seemed to lollipop the interior branches (mostly larfy stuff but still). I attached a picture so people can see what I mean. I'm getting hit on all fronts but I'm still kicking! I'll update as I go. Some pictures won't upload. I'll have to do it later. Oh and my ph is on point for once. I tested all plants a bunch of different places and readings were 6.6 to 7.3 at the highest. 8/27 Rained last night but not as bad as I thought it would. We are supposed to have some good weather coming up so I'm hoping my medium will get a chance to dry put. Still liking the liquid kool bloom. I'll up the dose next feed. I'm going to need to do another application of plant doctor this week too. It's about time for a BT application as well. I see moths flying off when I check early in the morning and I've observed some pillar damage. I'm slightly worried about soul going anaerobic. The color of the gdps are too lime green for my liking but our weather has been horrid. I never remember having to deal with shit like this. The branch that was all drooped with fusarium wilt has one (the closest to the stalk) shoot that has repaired itself. That gives me hope but I really should just amputate that branch. I guess I'm just nervous because of the reaction I had last time. Granted I've cut tons and tons of branches off in the past and prune things they didn't have whatever pathogen these do. Septoria is still there on one of the GDPs but it seems to be doing okay. I'm SLIGHTLY worried about the change in color on my big NYCSA. It's lost some of its vibrancy. I think it's kinda normal. I'm sure it has some PM (which I'm hoping plant doctor and the silica will help repress) but I think it will be a heavy yielding plant. Sun's poking out. The little clones I took are exploding in growth. They might not yield much but I'm glad I didn't just chuck them like I was going too. 8/28 Things are still looking good! We got some sunshine yesterday and the sunshine out today. Buds are really starting to form and colas are taking their shape. I'm slightly concerned with the coloring of my NYCSA but it started flowering later than the others so senescence may be behind. I may have lost half this year but looking at other diaries and attitudes of soms others I'm pretty fucking lucky. I didn't have much time this morning so I'll update later. I need to keep up with my IPM and do BT treatment and follow up with a second dose of plant doctor. 8/29 Super rushed morning. Only had time to shake the dew off the plants and snap a couple quick pictures. I lowered the growbig this week. I think that was a mistake. Plants are flowering like crazy. My NYCSA doesn't seem as vibrant green as it was. I may up feeding to twice a week or at least give them a little growbig if I need to water. I want tge medium to stay dry for a while. I also needcto cut that dead branch. I'm just afraid of a situation line before where the whole plant died. My anxiety disorder really hampers my growing ability. I qorry far too much. I should just cut it off right now. I've also seen pillar damage so I'm going to need to do a BT spray. I have the other organocide that's the 3 in 1 but I can't use it in flower. I'll just have to stagger applications. Either that or do another root drench or "sprench" and a foliar with the BT on another day. I have WPM on the garden and I'm pretty sure septoria. This plant was perfect though. I'm afraid it might be getting sick. Either way it'd an extremely resilient strain. The little 9lb kush I have in a 3 gallon is flowering the fastest. It really fuckihgcsucks I lost those massive plants. Judging by this "clone" I took off the other clone (I know) this strain wouldve been the first to finish. EDIT: Went back over to check the medium and do some slight defoliation. I inspected the stalks and the dead branch. The dead branch has a small indent (from breakage, insects or rot) where the branch connects to the stalk. I've seen this before but had no problems. However THIS branch seems to he coming out of the stalk RIGHT where the rot is. I cut the other one off that ENORMOUS 9lb Kush and it was dead a few hours later. I talked to my father who has degrees in biology and forestry (among other things) and he said he couldn't really see the harm in leaving it. I am worried that a cutworm mightve gotten in bit I don't see any evidence of any borer insect. Under that stem there is more "bark" and other stuff but nothing like a borer makes. I'm going back over tonight to treat with either BT or Plant Doctor. Haven't decided which. Probably the plant doctor. 8/30 Didn't have time for pictures. Large NYCSA NOW has fusarium wilt. Either I'm the most unlucky grower in our area or my plants got dosed with fusarium. After the research I've done I've cone to the conclusion that this season will be a complete loss. Maybe the two small separate cuttings will make it through flower. The rest is just a waiting game to see if fusarium kills it before they finish flowering. Even if it doesn't then I don't know if I would want to smoke the flowers. I'm shopping online for grow equipment. I'm going to do some indoor this winter. Wow this feels like a kick in the nuts. I'm a good dude. Like I said I'm just either the unluckily grower around or my plants had a little help. Who knows. EDIT: I treated everything with Pkant Doctor again. I'll feed tomorrow and see if some miracle happens and I actually get something 8/31 I added a few pictures so folks can see what fusarium looks like and how it progresses. As you can see it killed a branch and is progressing to the next and so on until the plant is typically dead. No need to get too scientific on the mechanism of action. I FED 2 gallons today. Still kept growbig low dosing.

Pig. Pig. Pig🐷 Day 35 for this beautiful girl. She is just starting to stretch and looks so big and bushy. I started feeding her pretty heavily because she looks like she’s just about to go into flower and she’s eating it all up. Her structure is just beautiful pretty even canopy and I am defoliated so she had some even light penetration. I’m always just so impressed by Sweet seeds. there plants just get so big and beautiful and they’re always so potent and solid I always try to have a staple of their seeds in my tent.

Week 5 Day 29 We started this week feeding them with floranova bloom fed her 7.5ml/1gal to begin flowering season!!! Day 30 Spent the whole morning outdoors until 2.00pm then put them on CFL lights Day 31st She's looking awesome but I just noticed some scratches on her main stem, wondering if I did them accidentally while performing LST, NOT SURE What are your thoughts? BANANA PURPLE PUNCH - 420 FAST BUDS This plant started off stunted and looking all round unhealthy but I gave hear time lowered her nutrients and she’s come right back to life forming nice dense dark purple buds … The smell is amazing she smells of berries and lemony woody gassy smell. Nothing like banana if you ask me! Cannot wait to smoke this strain DRSHOTZUK

Getting so close to being done

03/15/2021 Reppoting of GSC done I used Bonide(4-10-3) Root&Grow with iba! to lessen shock of transplant and heavy defoliating. Flipping to 12-12 today (the first clones will be for outdoors) made before and after videos of defoliation, and reppot. Blue Dream is cruising along nicely with a little LST bending of branches & stems,so all in all not a bad week..

To update, just keeping photos up to date...

The plant was harvested and trimmed successfully. Final yield amounts to 105 grams. The buds are dense, pleasantly heavy, and visually appealing. Their surface has a velvety green shimmer, indicating strong trichome coverage and healthy development. Overall, the harvest reflects a well-managed flowering phase and consistent care throughout the cycle. Next steps include drying and curing to preserve quality and enhance aroma and potency.

8/10 - In prep for flower I've got some Compost Tea brewing with a little Terp Tea Bloom by Roots Organics. .Also did a little selective defoliation 8/11 - Flipped the ladies to flower today! And all is good in the 8x4. 8/12 - Watered all the ladies with the Compost/Terp Tea. Also did some more defoliation and added some mosquito bits for added pest prevention.
