Heatwave is here:( Equipment is struggling. Hard to watch over grow room constantly. Surge protector tripping out as the equipment never cools down or has a break. A/C and dehumidifier running 24 hrs. Plus I had to hook up another a/c unit for the family. Got to keep them cool at night too. I’d feel bad if my ladies were cooler then my girls 😜 Got new lights but they were to intense even at the recommended distance. Just had to much light and to much overlapping made it to intense. I took out the 2 smaller 600’s and now just have the 2-2000’s in there but with the heatwave I had to dim them to 50% and now 25% incase I don’t get home in time from work and not able to open tent all the way as equipment is not doing the job in this heat:( also if the circuit trips out again then I don’t want the temps to sky rocket. Last few times it trip temps and humidity increased to 86F and 65% RH, mind you I corrected it within the hour of it happening each time, so not to bad and that’s at the top of the canopy and lower into it didn’t quite get that high as on the floor it only raised to 82F. And for my troubles I see what I believe is the start of burnt leaves:( I should have known better as the top growth seemed to be a bit lighter and stretchy:( I’ll have these lights better dialled in for next time! Our Do si Dos F1 Hybrid Autoflowering from Zamnesia are in great shape at the moment, they had a bit of a hesitant start but now they are in line or even better than others. They have done so well this last week (I love when they start like a rocket after having fueled up with fertilizers) that we have already reached the good internode for topping autoflowering plants which if you want to do it guys it should be anticipated as much as possible as I explain below. The other one will fly away straight to preserve the main cola which is the main dilemma of topping. The first question you have to ask yourself when topping is, Are you ready to give up the main cola? Applied Techniques - Given the numerous requests from growers, we decided to show you what happens when applying topping + Lst to autoflowering plants. It is very important to anticipate it as much as possible, autoflowering plants go into flowering at about the 5th intenod, you have to anticipate that moment to give the plant the chance to vegetate as much as possible. In general, when you see that there are two good lateral branches you can do topping, they will go into veg as much as possible and you will have a split plant, I have seen very beautiful results, especially in warm periods in which the plant tends to vegetate a lot, in winter we could have a bit of dwarfism but with a lot of resin for sure. So I cleaned everything and cut at the top leaving only the main growth line, called Main Lining, the florets will be lowered during growth and the plant will eventually be like "split" in the main line with the various branches. On photoperiodic plants, however, we will do topping repeatedly, which is not recommended with autoflowering plants so as not to lengthen the times of plants born to finish in 10 weeks too much. Great week, very fast plant to grow, will be ready in 9 weeks. Big plants , smell super strong. Smells exactly like turpentine and diesel. Really dark purple, Camara doesn't do justice, thanks everyone

Super CROPING

Erste Blühwoche und der Sticky Brokoli hat beschlossen, dass Kompaktheit zwar nett war, Höhe aber jetzt auch ganz charmant ist. Der Stretch ist deutlich, aber wohlerzogen, kein wildes Spargeln, eher ein kontrolliertes „Ich könnte noch“. Viele Triebe mussten trotzdem gehen; keine Tragödie, sondern klassische Personaloptimierung. Wer es nicht rechtzeitig Richtung Licht geschafft hat, wurde höflich, aber endgültig aussortiert. Nach der Entlaubung wirkt das Blätterdach wieder wie geplant und nicht wie ein schlecht gelüfteter Dschungel. Licht kommt durch, Luft zirkuliert, die verbliebenen Triebe stehen stabil und selbstbewusst da. Technisch bleibt alles angenehm unspektakulär: EC 1,8, pH 5,9 Bisher ein entspannter Grow, gute Struktur, Stretch unter Kontrolle. Der Brokoli wird langsam sticky, und man ahnt, dass das hier kein Snack, sondern ein Hauptgericht wird. 😎

Week 7 Flower - Notice that the tops of some of the Tops are pretty hard. Think they got a bit cooked by the LED... Hifi 4G & Blueberry Pics are missing from this week...I thought I had taken some footage, but seems that I got distracted. Work has been nuts so not surprising that I gapped on that. Hifi 4G is needed more support. Looks like a blue ribbon chaos around it. Blueberry looks fantastic.

I have observed substantial growth in my babies, unfortunately, I will not be able to complete the intended 9 weeks of vegetation before transitioning to the flowering stage. This is due to an upcoming relocation to a more suitable location that offers ample space for strain cycling and the maintenance of mother plants for cloning purposes. I am eagerly anticipating the flowering phase, particularly for the Gelato 41 strain, which is already emitting a pleasant aroma.

There's a blank week, sorry about that. There are detailed pictures and explanations of the current situation. At this point, the older plant seems to be doing fine. However, the younger plant's growth has definitely slowed down. Suspecting potassium deficiency, that's why I increased the nutrient amount. But K deficiency might not be the only thing that's wrong. My pH levels should be fine, got a new meter and did calibrations regularly.

Only running 1 Thin Mint x Cookies + Cream its front left in the tent, great internodal spacing came highly recommended. Switching to Bloom nutrients, two part Cropsalt. Irrigation frequency will be adjusted as flower development drastically increases over the next two weeks.

Bruce Banner watered/fed on 8/10/22 with 5ml cal mag, 7ml flora nova bloom, 3.5 ml amino acids, 6ml fish shit, 1/2 tsp great white. Mixed together it had a ph of 5.9, 939ppm and 1.9EC. Runoff had 6.3ph, 1.1 EC and 539 ppm. Also removed 52 fan leaves 8/13/22 Bruce Banner defoilated today and watered. Watering had 6.4ph, .8ec and 380ppm. Mixed 5ml cal mag, 6 ml fish shit, 1.5tsp flora nova bloom, 3.5ml amino acids and great white. Fed with 6.0ph, 936ppm and 1.9ec Runoff had 6.5ph, 569ppm and 1.2ec 8/15/22 Bruce Banner watered with 1 gallon distilled water ph'ed 5.9. The runoff had 6.5ph, 466ppm and .8ec. I fed with 5ml cal mag, 6ml fish shit, 1.5tsp flora nova bloom, 3.5ml amino acids, 1/2tsp great white, which had a 5.8ph, 966ppm and 1.9ec. The runoff was 6.4ph, 578ppm, 1.2ec. 8/17/22 Bruce Banner water with 5.2 ph water. Runoff was 6.5ph, .8ec and 399ppm. 5ml cal mag, 8ml flora nova bloom, 3.5ml amino acids, 6ml fish shit, 1/2 tsp great white. 2.0ec, 1011ppm and 4.9ph. Runoff had 6.3ph, 557ppm and 1.1ec
