Liebe Leute, Woche 5 ist im vollen Gange! PK 13-14 schlägt gut an, die Buds werden dichter und wachsen so langsam zusammen! Harz Produktion ist heftig, die Finger kleben nach dem entlaufen für die kleineren Colas weiter unten. Manche Härchen werden langsam braun aber die Ladys haben noch viel Zeit um groß und stark zu werden. Momentan ist es für mich schwierig mit dem Wassermanagement, bei 29-30 Grad im Zelt und Stofftöpfen brauchen sie 5 Liter alle drei Tage! Ich bin gespannt wie die nächsten Wochen werden! Haven't posted in a bit been busy with life, I am harvesting the Grape God tonight, I am going to push my other plant another week. Have 2 going in the new Autopots system. New larger tent and new Mammoth light are going up after the holiday. Will be posting more soon as I will be running some more testers. Threw up the other plant as when I post video it rejects any pictures..?

Day 63 Flower (Day 105) I'm back! Iceland was breathtakingly beautiful as usual, and I even managed to see an active volcano. Amazing! I have good news and bad news regarding my girls. The good news is that they are both still alive and are overall looking pretty good. The bad news for the left girl is that the cheap irrigation system failed and only watered around 1 liter of water during the entire week. She was extremely thirsty, although still looking pretty good without any drooping. A couple of her leaves turned purple from the stress, though. I recorded a video just as I opened the tent for the first time after coming back a couple of hours ago. The news is worse for the right girl, though. The irrigation system worked flawlessly, so that wasn't the problem. Instead, I detected bud rot in three buds, and of course, it was in the three most significant colas. Fuuuuuuuu... I also shot a video as I opened the tent, and the affected buds are visible if you are paying attention. I have never had bud rot before, so I will need to do additional research on what to do next. I immediately cut off the affected buds and disposed of them outside. I hope I got all the affected areas, but I will inspect all the buds more closely tomorrow. Been traveling most of the day today and need some rest before scouting her buds. I looked at her trichomes quickly and still couldn't see much amber, but I will have a better look tomorrow. The worms have been busy while gone, though, and they were crawling all over when I lifted the old avocados. They aren't the only ones who have been busy as the fungus gnats are back, Sigh. Only a few so far, but yeah, another thing to sort out. The fun just never ends...

Dia 126, 5a semana de floración se ven muy sanas y estan empezando a formarse los cogollos, la floración va un poco lenta, se puede ver la 1051 y la Chocolate Wafflez ya estan llenas de resina , la Glow Starz y la White Noise siguen generando cogollo, hemos visto algunas orugas que nos han sorprendido ya que no han habido lluvias todavia y las plantas estaban protegidas, pero supongo que las bajas temperaturas generan las orugas

One more week I think, just flushed today and checked the run off the PH is at 6,4 and the PPM on 5 of the 6 plants was 330 the one with the burned tips had 665 not to my surprise, but that would explain the nutrient burn, the trichomes are cloudy and there are a lot of amber as well so want to flush this week and hope the fade starts so I can harvest with a fully flushed plant and a good ratio of cloudy to amber trichomes. I know now that I should not have given that last feeding a week ago and should of started the flush but live and learn, 1st time growing these, also the time lapse did not take a whole week not recorded I am super pissed, I will up load a real time video in a day or 2 under regular light, till then hope you all in the states get your Stimulus Check this week end, C ya

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Week 13 started Sunday June 19, 2022 PPFD is around 900-1000 umol/s/m2 and from 16" to 13" inches away (two massive colas on right side) its over 1200 at 13" so I am worried about bnding those down daily She's fully back from her flowering transition and now putting energy into the colas. She has greened up, cal mag FTW. I have been running a diluted combo of Mad Farmer MOAB, don't ask, I just do it by gut feel and I read the label EVERY time I apply this. Running a little of Tiger Bloom in there, super weak amount. Hygrozyme now that the res has been up and clear for over a week holding Ph well, and no drama. AutoPot is performing better than I had hoped given the lack of parts, now fixed thanks to AutoPot support. Great team over there BTW. The valve is pulling water in just when the roots have been "exposed" for a short while (this is inside the pot so obviously blacked out). IOW there is a pocket with air stones that I run 24/7 so the soggy soil is continuously aerated. It pulls in my solution that is about 6.5 Ph as of this AM (Recall WW likes it a little higher). Now that I have her in flowering mode, she is wanting more heat and light so I lowered the lights and adjusted the fan to get humidity down I am ONLY running the COB LED right now because she is performing well enough and environment is pretty good Lots of airflow and she is healthy. Routine 🐛🐝🐜🐞, easily killed in one organic treatment of Crop Control and another from Dr. Earth. Fungus gnats, and a couple of other unidentified bugs Temps are pretty stable and my CO2 is high, sometimes over 1100 naturally. I do have a new Black Pearl Oyster mushroom going in the room, probably belong CO2, all air inlets into my two small cannabis tents are filtered with small particle filters and I egress hot air out of a 15 ft 6" diameter vent through the ceiling. There is also a natural vent allowing lots of fresh air into my space. It a great area to grow in. Light defoliation here and there, lots of bending and checking things, but otherwise not much to do except look for issues and maintain the environment, we are locked in for the next two weeks, just dialing in the environment and trying to get humidity down without running too much energy. 6/21 Adjusted TDS to 269 from 315 and added some Big Bloom to the mix in a super diluted form. This is prime time flower and she is feeding fiercely. I need to stack those bud site and put on some weight, so this stuff is always good to add. But always mindful of the MOAB, its a lot and I could easily burn if I goof up. *** Found that week 10 should probably be a vegetative week, so I I adjusted to represent more accurate timing. So I backtracked and fix some dates, yep I am in week three of flower not four, and I am probably on day 15-17 of flower, easily have about 40 days left.
