Day 79 - Another week passes, not much to post, normal feeding, 1000 ppm 6.2 PH, normal lights, the girls are fattening up nicely...... 😎 Day 84 - some pics/vids.... pics of a Test Bud (ready for curing)......doing some experimentation..... read up about drying and curing, but i don't have a set method, so test abit..... never grown bud before..... 👍 my tent is really small, i think 50x120x160 or something... and it's tight in there, i have no other source of herb, so i'm going to start getting into the smaller one, and focus the light on the larger one..... i've been trimming and drying all during the grow.... there's really only enough room for the big one, and it's really squishy in the tent........ 😎

🌸 Week 6 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week is in the books and the differences between the phenos are becoming impossible to ignore now 👀🔥 Stretch has been very different across the plants and some phenos are clearly showing completely different growth patterns despite running under the same conditions. It’s getting easier every week to identify which phenos stay compact and bushy and which ones want to reach for the sky. 📈 Current observations: Pheno #3 and #4 have stretched aggressively and are now above 70 cm Pheno #5 took the lead and is currently sitting at around 101 cm 👀🔥 Pheno #1 and #6 are still in early flower / preflower and developing noticeably slower Plant architecture is becoming very clear now — some phenos are growing dense and bushy while others are showing strong vertical growth At this stage I already have clear favorites: ⭐ Pheno #4 and #5 are currently standing out the most for me in terms of structure, vigor, and overall development. But the real decision will come once the flowers fully build up. 🍃 Maintenance & development: Canopy management continues and I’m still removing leaves only where necessary to improve light penetration and keep flower sites exposed. 📊 Current environment: Temperature stable around 26°C Relative humidity sitting around 67–70% VPD target remains unchanged and is being monitored continuously Light intensity continues to increase gradually as flowering progresses The next weeks should become really exciting — structure is one thing, but now the buds will decide who becomes the real winner of this pheno hunt 🌸🔥 💬 Which pheno would you bet on at this point?

My permanent marker plants are looking really interesting! The short and stocky one with the purple leaves is super vibrant. I love that pop of color against the green of the other plants. It's a little different from the taller plant, which has this really cool stacked-up look to it. I'm curious to see if those stacked-up leaves will change color too. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

Week 5 and looking alive! Lol added a few things this week. Two infared heat lamps for warming up the cool start to their day. I also added a deep red light for evening and morning simulation.

What stands out most is how effortless her growth appears. Despite her height, the stem remains thick and sturdy, the branches are well positioned, and every part of the plant feels balanced. She has responded beautifully to gentle LST, opening naturally without ever showing signs of stress. One thing has become increasingly clear throughout this project: Zamnesia's Black Diamond genetics are proving remarkably stable. July 27: still growing fast. The new growth is a bit yellow and I haven’t decided what that’s due to. Lack of sulphate or excess Phosphorus are the two options I think. Anyway, she’s doing fine and is startling to preflower. 👍 Started using a 730 nm far red light for a few seconds at dusk. This is called phyto-forcing apparently because it promotes flowering. I really love science when it figures out random shit like how photosynthesis and light wavelength (or colour) interact. Outdoor plants naturally see a flash of far red light just before darkness and this light kind of ‘puts it to sleep’ or into dark mode two hours faster. So, two extra hours darkness or a 26 hour day. Sounds bogus but is totally legit. July 28: foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate. July 30: plant is looking great. The yellow on the new growth has faded and is now a better looking shade of green. I think it might have been excess P because the other plants kind of had it too and the timing was a couple days after adding barley and Power Bloom. This is right at the start of flowering when plants need lot of P, and the yellow is fading, so I’ll just let it go without doing anything about it. She’ll get over it.

This week I added 9 ml of nutrient per gal of water to prepare for switching to flowering. Grow 5 inches this week getting ready to start flowering. I lowered the light to eight inches which really had these plants growing faster and thicker.
