Well I said I was leaving her untrained but on day 56 I gently tied back a few branches to open up the canopy. This is looking like it's going to be my best grow yet.

Well looked at the trics and I seen about 40% ambers so I put her in dark for 2 days before I harvested her pulled her out or the dark checked the trics. again and seen zero ambers while I was confused I knew she was not ready so I had a space in my veg. Tent so I threw her in there for her last week or 2. She looks so bad as I let her dry out big time and with the ph issues I had earlier in the grow there's not a leaf on her that's not got part of it dying off. Hopefully this is last week of flower as it's week start of week 10 and I really wanna try her out although most will go to concentrates as this grow was not ideal and the frost is minimal compared to other gg4 I got flowering right now.

The grow is going on well,doubled the bloom nuts , plants have a different but nice smell of skunk and wild berries. The tall one is growing crazy in the cell, i want to harvest first the highest one branches, to let the lowest grow round the cell for a higher yield. I had to train a lot the plant, because the autoflower was getting too tall about 120cm, so i tied it up around the cell doing scrog a like.

Overall this week was very steady! They drank a lot, between Sat-Sat I had to fill res twice. I think my res is 50L, so they went thru 100 L (or so) in a week. Or about 2L per plant per day! Probably on Tuesday, I might defoliate again. It's a pretty solid sea of green, but there is a lot below canopy and these are Autoflowers, So I will promote the Larf growth, to use in edibles etc. Generally I try to avoid defoliating into flower, but desperate times! Haha The interesting thing is, when I look at my week to week data, I can see as the canopy thickened, the overall temperature of the Tent went down, then stabilized at about 24c. So to me, that indicates the canopy is absorbing much more energy than previously (avg was 27.5c). So what use to raise the tent by 3c, is now going right into the Plants. I'm very hopeful about this run! :)

Week 3 and there all looking heAlthy, topped all of them at 3rd and 4th node today at day22. Will think about transplanting depending on wether the roots are coming through so I can start some training on them in this next week or so. Thanks for looking👍🏼

Hello Diary, White Widow has completed the third week of vegetation and is entering the flowering stage. This week the White Widow grew 15 cm, got a bunch of new leaves and started to form flowers. The leaves are a nice green color and generally White Widow looks healthy. It is really developing very nicely, which makes me super happy. The summer heat is still present which affects the temperature in the grow box, this week the average was 29 degrees although sometimes the temperature rises to over 31 degrees. But I don't notice that it is harming them, I make sure to water them regularly, so that the soil does not remain too dry although that sometimes happens. Every week, as the plants grow, I increase the amount of water when watering. I continue to add Bio Grow Fertilizer and CalMg with each watering. pH I drop to 6.0 with Plagron's Lemon Kick. At the end of the week, more precisely after taking photos for day 21, I increased the power of the led lights to 80%. Here is a quick overview of the week: 10/08/2024 - Day 17. Watering. I prepared 8 liters of water, added Bio Grow Fertilizer and CalMg. With that amount I evenly watered all three plants on the farm. 13/08/2024 - Day 20. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as the three days before. 14/08/2024 - Day 21. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. Official end of the vegetation phase. Strain was easy to grow. Had some herms but since I only have 2 plants I was able to pinch the balls off. Buds have no seeds and are a strong smoke. Really hits the lungs.

This lady is certainly a a dark horse, the smell is amazing.. an old school smell that reminds me of my times in Amsterdam many years back. She is showing no signs of nutrition issues, and the buds are swelling at rapid rate. They are dense and pungent with a fruity hint.

Budz are getting fatter and fatter every day.

This grow was fun.. I did 12/12 from seed and grew it in a 32oz McD cup.. Wow.. These are some super fat, super dank, and super citrusy colas! ETHOS FTW! Will be updating!!! 24 Hours Drying... Relative humidity in the dry area is between 68% - 72%.. I have been running the little computer fan off and on within the last 24 hours.. About 8 hours constant then off for another 8 hours then kinda blah not knowing whether I wanted it on or off the last 8 hours lol.. But hours 24-48 I'm going to leave it off and the hours 48-72 I havent got that far into the process in my head yet.. Lolol I'm sure I am WAAAY over thinking this.. But I dont want my first mold experience to be with ETHOS.. and I dont want my 3rd too dry too fast either with this strain.. The dankness is so incredible with this one.. My mind is blown by how epic ETHOS is.. If anybody knows of any other breeders that are as good as or better.. Please let me know in the comments!.. Anyways.. ZzZzZz... 72 hours of drying... Leaves are a bit crispy.. Buds are still moist a bit.. Small branches are still pretty bendy.. There was an 8 hour period that I did run the fan... The smell is a little hay like.. But this bud is so dank I'm sure the dank smell will come back.. Starting to notice that some strains smell like hay, but come back.. Some never smell like hay ever.. Idk.. Just something I've noticed.. It could just be my shitty environment tho.. Ugh.. So far so good with this one tho! Should be at least another 2 days.. But I'm shooting for a week at least.. Then into jars!!! Dried and beginning of cure... Took 5 days.. Not bad I suppose. Trimming only took about 45 minutes. It was almost difficult to WANT to trim alot of these sugar leaves because they were so incredibly covered in trichomes! But I can make a nice little bit of bubble hash with the trim so I trimmed her nice and close.. Gonna let her cure for a week or so then I'll get the weight.. I try to get them into the jars a little early.. Its easier to just burp them alot if they are too moist.. But impossible to get the up to 62% if they are too low.. I'd rather them be about 68% - 70% RH because thats technically just adding more "drying" time if you really think about it.. Then once they get to about 65% RH I slow the burping quite a bit.. Like only once or twice a week.. I've found this really helps terps and whatnot.. But anyhoo.. They have been in jars for about 24 hours.. They are already reading jar (2) 68% RH and jar (3) 64% RH.. Oh.. Let me explain the weird numbering. Lol.. My jars were already numbered.. Jar (1) is currently unavailable lol.. So jar (2) has all the nice, big, top shelf nugs and jar (3) has all the smaller, but still nice and dank as fuck nugs lol.. So excited for this! And normally I would have already started smoking what I've dried.. But since I cannot smoke, this will be perfect to actually give them plenty of time to cure nicely! So happy with ETHOS Genetics.. Fucking EPIC!!! Lol... Beginning of cure.. I tried a nug lol.. So smooth.. So fucking tasty too.. You can literally taste the citrus.. I love this strain! I can't wait to see some other ETHOS strains and see what they are about... Week one of curing.. Ive been burping daily.. Sometimes twice daily. I went ahead and put both jars into one.. Fuck it lol.. But 37 grams dried.. After 1 week of burping jars it is now reading 62% - 63%.. So now Ill stop burping daily.. Im gonna try to just go weekly.. If I can resist getting wiffs of it.. Lol.. It smells so fucking amazing

This was a very pleasant strain to grow!. It kept short, bushy and controllable. It would of yielded more if it wasn't taken over by the sativa dominant love potion, which I'm fine with because I enjoy the variety. I also made a couple newbie mistakes which effected yield and I'm hoping to avoid them next round. It was exactly what I was looking for flavour wise, which I'm very happy about, and they were completely loaded in trichomes and the smell is amazing. The flavour in my vape is exactly how they smell accompanied with earthy taste and a potentcy shutter. This will definitely keep me satisfied until next variety is ready.

Days 35-42 (Day 36) Some minor problems starting to arise here. A few times this week it got up to 90+ degrees which I think may have caused a bit of heat stress in some of the plants. I’m seeing a bit of cupping/crinkles on some of the fan leaves and some of the new growth is looking pretty gnarled and twisted. I hear windburn can cause this too so I’m turning my fans down to low speed. This could also be a problem with humidity so I’m going to turn off my humidifier, dim the lights and raise them. During my last feeding I mulched in some worm castings but it seems like they’re keeping the soil/coco from drying out. Pots are still decently heavy and even the surface is still quite moist but they aren’t showing any major signs of overwatering. I figure it will only be a few weeks before the castings break down so I will just leave it. A few of the plants are starting to show yellowing leaf tips which is probably some kind of micro nutrient lockout from my PH being slightly too high. It could also be from nute burn so I will water in 6.0 until I see some runoff. Although the most likely culprit is potassium excess. I’ve been feeding potassium almost as much as nitrogen so far. I know that can cause the yellowing of leaf tips by locking out trace minerals. It can also cause leaf problems like crinkling. Excess K can even cause water retention! Will water at 6.0 until run off next watering. The lst is coming along nicely. It was a good idea to remove the first two sets of branches (not leaves). Now I have 4-6 perfectly even stems coming from each plant that I plan to top one more time each. (Day 37) Today I’m going to vacuum, clean, wipe down and spray all my equipment in the tent. I’ve been letting the floor get quite dirty and I haven’t had the chance for a thorough clean since last round. I’m kind of surprised I haven’t seen any powdery mildew yet. I guess the prevention spray is working because the room has to be infected from my last crop. (Day 40) I was reading that you can foliar spray whatever you are deficient in for an immediate uptake. I‘m going to try that with my current potassium excess since it locks out trace minerals. I’m going to foliar feed a bit of phytoplankton at 15ml/L and some MagnifiCal + VeloKelp from Remo nutrients both at 5ml/L. The cal mag is not organic but as long as it’s not going into the soil and doesn’t contain chlorine I’m fine with it. I’m also going to be changing the light cycle to 18/6 for the remainder of veg. This will be their first dark cycle so they can properly foliar feed. Edit: humidity shot up to 85% a few hours after foliar spray. I went to top dress everything today and I mixed up the plants while doing so! So the ones I was unsure about I gave 1 extra tablespoon. I won’t top dress again for at least 10 days. Might give a light tea sometime next week. I also tilled the shit out of the top of each pot. It had a hard crusty layer on top that was keeping the medium from drying out properly. I’m not going to water again until everything is bone dry. Then I will water until slight runoff at 6.0 ph with some Dr. Marijane bacteria/root probiotic. I’m starting too see a lot more of these abrasions on some of the bigger fan leaves. It almost looks like thrip damage but I’m 100% sure it’s not a pest above ground. It could be bulb mites, which I found in my worm castings but I can’t check until the roots are more established in their pots. The leaves themselves are cold and feel damp to the touch. I haven’t even seen a fungus gnat since I last fed. I’m hoping it’s related to the K excess and clears up with the troubleshooting. (Day 41) Just ordered a wire cube rack to prop my plants up with and help evaporation/root warmth. Each cube is 11.8”x11.8”x11.8” and it comes with 16 cubes. So it will fit just perfectly in my 4x4. Depending on the size, I might order another one for the flower room where I would need 25 cubes.

Harvesting An ELEPHANT !!! And after 118 day from seed and 101 from wen she started her mix veg/flowering process, i cant say for sure but i am starting to believe that this auto world do veg, then veg and flower in conjunction for a wile and only after they a wile they move to a flowering stage completely but thats another post another day lol today was harvest day for this Auto Elephant from SSSC , and let me tel you she is a delight with huge fruits, so big that i normally cut and hang the all plant and for this i did not take the risk of doing that and getting bud rot , better safe than sorry, so what i broke her in smaller peaces and put it all in the rack. Now not much to do than waiting for it to get around 10/15% humidity and jar with it all. Sakura season has begun, I hope everything goes fine. Strawberry Pie is going to have a tough time this week, let's hope it survives, meanwhile there are signs of heat shock and sunlight, it's developing 3 point leaves and strange ramifications but maybe I'm wrong. D38 Defoliation, I hope I haven't overdone the pruning D41 First week of flowering, I think it couldn't have gone better, it's growing visibly, let's hope it's like this until the end, maybe shortening the timing, we'll see. on the contrary strawberry pie has stopped growing, I have to thank that she survived, who knows what will come out of her, I wish her a sweeter climate... D42 Defoliation is limited for what I did last night, I literally deforested, I did it because the humidity was sky high and the vegetation was too thick covering so many peaks,,, the fascinating thing is that they recovered within the night, if I may say that 6 hours of darkness relax the plants just as if they were on vacation.
