This week, there started to be pistals forming on the largest plant, the medium plant and just starting on the smallest. I have added some nutrients from big buds, but I need some bloom first. ordered advanced nutrients. I trimmed off the lower leaves below the canopy to push them more into blooming. This is auto, so I have not adjusted lighting still 18/6

I was tempted to fertilize with mineral fertilizer to "improve growth")), but decided not to do it - I'll check the possibilities of the substrate to the end. What I see, I am quite satisfied.

Its hard to see the progress at this time but i had to remove a plant cause of space issues, so now there is only 7 under the 600w Dualspectrum

Day 58, 11th of November 2020: I set the lamp 15 minutes shorter to switch off earlier so they receive 11:45 of darkness. I would like to imitate the nature when longer nights come with time till the 4th week (when they will receive 13 hours darkness a day 15 minutes minus 4 times = 1hour) so every week 15 min longer darkness for 4 weeks and then back to 12/12 to have bigger buds from the 4th week.... Wao. Well, all good hopefully they will stop growing soon but the strech is not that much thanks for the trainings such as topping and LST.... Pistils are started appearing so they she the sex I think one more week to go and they will settle down concentrating on bud development. What to say every 2nd day is fertilization with the mix and ratio above now we are waiting. Anything else? Well just look atbthe pictures and decide what you think. I am pretty sure they look cool LOL. This Gleato Zamnesia is very promising I really like the smell already she is nice but all of them I mean I am in love with all so. Kalinia Asia is nice and I am so excited for the Sweed Seeds ones the red girls OMG :)

She seems happy. It’s been another good week of growth. I’m cutting out the bio-grow completely for next week. I might give her some later in the grow if she looks like she needs it. Also, I’m gonna dial back the bio-bloom back to 2ml/L. Her buds are increasing in size and the smell is getting stronger. I feel like I might be about a week behind in terms of flower due to the stress from such heavy defoliation and losing most of her fan leaves, but overall I’m happy with how she’s coming along. 2nd week of 12-12, last massive defoliations and LST before the bloom. I’ll attend about 10 days and pre flower for others stress. Let’s do it, let’s flowering!

September 25 > Harvest at dawn for the big girl. The usual routine... except I shot a time-lapse video this time to play with the camera I won last year. Clipped the top buds first - then the base. Took me 2 hours to wash all that -rinse - repeat. ---------------------------------------- Well this was an interesting summer with this pair of girls. I learned that I don't really need a container larger than 10 gallons in order to grow very large plants (in my neck of the woods anyway). Now when I say large I mean how much space they take up on my patio. I'm allowed to grow 6 legally but 4 eats up pretty much the whole patio. And the reality is I don't need to grow plants that large. The outdoor yield will last well into next year for me and everybody I know. So next summer I plan to do much more serious pruning to limit the scope and shape of the girls I grow outdoors. I also learned that I don't need an inverted tomato cage style support if my container is larger than 5 gallons. The Durban I grew last summer was in a 5 gallon container and there's not enough weight in there to keep her grounded. Once up to 10 gallons you won't want to lift the container much and there's enough weight in there to keep things stable. At the moment I've listed 450g as a dry weight for both plants (updated to 458g final). I haven't actually weighed the 2nd plant yet and won't even trim her for about a week or so (I'll be back to update diary). The first girl came in at 235 grams. I got pretty ruthless throwing away small budlets and trim this morning as it took me 4 hours to take this big girl down and wash her up. That's only because I spent half a day yesterday trimming Cream & Cheese and moving Northern Lights around... and it's been over 95 degrees both days... so I'm ready for a rest. Cannabis harvesting is not easy labor. Diary note > There was a software malfunction a week or so back and I was unable to add a new flowering week, whereupon it was determined there was a limit of 26 weeks at that time... so I didn't add any more weeks after that until the harvest week. When I added the harvest week, it appears the malfunction had been corrected because I COULD HAVE added a new flowering week at that time. I think there's only a week missing. Differences can be noted with dates on the photos. If I had a problem this summer it's because I was too anxious to get going after a long winter nursing shoulder surgery and I didn't pay proper attention to the lighting ramifications when the instructions were there for me, and subsequently started too early. Next year I plan for an early crop of auto flowers to keep me occupied until the proper time for a regular crop. --------------------------------------- September 30 > Trimming and processing complete. I really manhandled the big girl with the Trimbag, largely because I knew I was gonna have a pound of herb on my hands (way more than I will personally consume) and I wanted to minimize my hand trimming. So when I say manhandled here, I mean I ran it through the process TWICE, using about 40 rotations/spins each time. It probably would have helped to be a tad drier, but we're entering a cool spell now and we've run out of time. Mother Nature has decided to turn off the heater... which has turned my Purple Berry Kush a nice shade of purple... but that's tomorrow mornings's harvest... <sigh>... anyway... where was I... oh yeah... AMNESIA... <hehe> Trimbag generated trim on 1st pass = 217 g Trimbag generated trim on 2nd pass = 90 g Trim generated by hand after that = 186 g Final bud weight for big girl = 223 g Clearly, comparing weight of trim generated by hand vs by the Trimbag here you can see the result of my "manhandling". Little girl was in a 10 gallon pot and generated 235 g buds and 360 g trim. Big girl was in a 15 gallon pot and generated 223 g buds and 493 g trim. Final total bud weight 458 grams for both plants. Hope anybody following along learned something this summer. I did. 😎 The trick is to not make the same mistake twice. That's kinda why we're all here. Kinda. ✊

Hello everybody Welcome to the review week 😁 (Harvest pictures previous week) What can i say. Another very fun year doing this hobby. Grow number 5 since I'm here on growdiaries and ever year I improved because ofvall the knowledge here. Last year my NL'S started fantastic but it went horribly wrong during flowering. I was very motivated for this revenge round since NL is great strain and I knew where the mistakes were made in the previous grow. Made a well fed soil, added lots of RQS nutrients and made it extra airy by adding about 20 to 25 % extra perlite. Germination was made in a soil plug. Soaked the seed for 24h and then 12h in a moisted paper napkin . After the root came out a little bit i put her directly in the soil plug After 2 days she put her head out 🙏 Vegative phase was fun but she was stunted from the cold in the first weeks outside. With photoperiods that's not a problem but with autoflowers u end up with a small plant. Gave some neem oil spray too every week. No bugs have been seen on the plant. Fantastic product I did my first LST training and that was so fun to do. I fucked up here and there and should have spread the canopy more open but i give myself 6,5/10 for the first time 😁 Didn't break anything and she reacted well on my inexperienced hands. Will always do this from now on but with adjustments of course 😁 we grow to learn In flowering she did well but she stayed on the small side, wasn't very bushy and didn't completely filled up the space she had. But the plant was healthy and what she had did very well and delivered super nice buds. In the final 2 weeks she really bulked up a lot and gave me my first handsized buds ❤️🙏 I had Budrot because of high humidity in the morning and 2 small rains. It was extremely warm here during July and August but during the days we had 30° to 40° Celsius with low humidity and at night 15°Celsius with night and morning humidity of 80% to 100% 🤷‍♂️ 🙄 talk about a challenge Every plant will develop problems in such swinging climate conditions but the NL did pretty good. Lost about 20% of the plant unfortunately but that's life After 16 weeks she looked done for me. Chopped her and had to dry her in warm weather. The tent was around 23°Celsius, couldn't get it lower. After 5 days the smaller buds were on the verge of just a bit too wet but close to dry and i know it's better to put them in a little bit more wet instead of too dry because it's harder to add moisture than the other way around. Opened the jars 4 times daily the first week and it was okay. The handsized more wet buds were added after 7 days of drying and didn't have any problems. An overall very smooth grow untill the budrot problem. Will grow this one again since i have 10 seeds left of them 😁 (small note for RQS if they read this : mix up the free strains guys 😂 1 Royal Jack and 13 NL here) Thanks for the help and comments Another year were i learned a lot from everyone here 🙏 Happy growing 🙏

🚨 🚨 Week 9 update 🚨 🚨 🚨 🚨 week 6 flower 🚨 🚨 " Blue Dream" 420fastbuds grow. Plants total life is 63 days old. With these plants having only 3 weeks of veg before flowering I feel these plants are not producing like my last scrog grow. But I wanted to see 4 myself if the scrog made a difference. These 4 plants that are supposed to be heavy yielding are not even close to producing the results my last scrog grow produced. All this info I have gathered is helping to determine how my next grow will go. I will be growing a blue dream photo. I have already concluded that I will be topping and scrogging. I also will be vegging 4 longer than 3 weeks! Overall it is what it is and move on. Still learning everyday! I have to say I'm most impressed with Blue Dream #3 which was my last to go in 🌸. She is the shortest and is the heaviest producing. She's also the happiest!! Blue dream #4 was the first in 🌸 and is most likely going to be my first girl finished. Her pistols are already orange and her tricomes are starting to cloud with an amber here and there. Mar 24: Watering till runoff now... runoff ppm was 2500+... Will be using very mild nutes to flush over 1 - 3 feeds... or until I am near my input. Mar 26: Continuing to use 650ppm feed with bloom focus, 2L per plant gives 15% runoff... Runoff ppm is still very high... I wanted to check pH of runoff but the color is so vibrant i cant use the pH drops to view color, need to get a pH probe. Plants are thriving, no issues at all. the extra fan fixed the post-water droop. One plant is bushy and has the most bud sites, One is the smallest but has the most uniform structure, this one has the biggest buds and thickest stalk, One is about in the middle of the 2. Mar 29: one of these girls gets droopy early when its time for water, thought the canopy was too high so i tied down some more, no cigar... gonna try increasing calmag, if that doesent work im going to reposition in the grow box to a side instead of middle, may not need the upper end ppfd...

The ICE is almost done; the NL doesn’t even seem close. Interesting since ICE sprouted a day later than the NL.

I’ll start by saying I’m NOT using both bud blood and bud ignitor in one solution, I am using bud blood on the rear runt plant and bud ignitor on the front one to test the outcome of them individually to see the best results! I tied down and defoliated twice in the week and have switched to 12-12 yesterday so they’re transitioning now and should be in bloom by week 7! I made some extract them made some gummies successfully I might add and added the photos in the diary!
