Wednesday Watered this morning both are doing well except for a heat/humidity stress visible on the edges of the leaves that are curling up . The shapes of the plants seems to be the final shapes so I guess that they will focus on the buds BUT I am starting to understand that the MarsHydro is promoting the stretch so they could continue to stretch a bit. I have made a video to show you my low stems cleaning so I hope you'll enjoy it 🙈🙉🙊 Thursday Same stems cleaning on the second grapefruit and a watering for both . The girls are drinking a lot and pretty often for a hand watering run.

Sooo I added a scrog net a few days ago to get the branches more outward beacuse they were growing way to bushy. Seems to be a good solution! Did a nother update for this week because of the trichome beauty that they have. They both smell really really fruity and somewhat gassy, if you ever grew a Cherry Cola from FastBuds and you loved the smell then this strain is specially for you. The smell reminds me so hard of the Cherry Cola and I fcking love it

The smell is insane now for only being 28 days. She's extremely frosty as well. Really easy gro.

The flowers grew a little smaller than expected due to my radiator breaking down. The temperature rose to 20°C max during the day and 13°C at night. Obviously this slowed down growth. Fortunately I had a plan B, but I was only able to put it in place once I returned from vacation :/ On the other hand, I actually noticed that as soon as they found the ideal temperature, the fattening resumed as if nothing had happened. This variety is definitely very resistant, it's amazing... Thank you Royal Queen Seeds!!! There you go, this is the home stretch. We are entering week 8 and I have done my last watering with nutrient. From now on, I will water them exclusively with clear water, controlling only the chlorine and Ph. The countdown is on. This is truly the last phase of maturation. Harvesting can now occur anytime between now and 10 days from now! Chuss guys, we'll talk again next week!

Initial germination Xmas, 96 days was veg until flower.

The leaves have started shifting to a lighter shade of green, while some are showing beautiful pinkish-purple hues. The buds are still on the lean side, but I’m hoping for a bit more bulk and density over the next few days. 😀🤞 The flowering progresses smoothly and peacefully. Moin Leute, hab vor paar Tagen mit der Ernte der beiden Pflanzen begonnen, war etwa 3 Stunden mit dem Trimmen der beiden Pflanzen beschäftigt. Von der Farbe sind keine großen Auffälligkeiten erkennbar, Standard orange, hell bis dunkelgrüne Buds dabei. Die Größe der Buds variiert von den beiden Pflanzen, die eine eher mit sehr langen aber eher dünneren Headbuds, die andere eher mit breiten und kürzeren Headbuds. Insgesamt kam jetzt circa 640g Nass auf die Waage zusammen (gewogen am darauffolgenden Tag), denke das wird schon eine ganz gute Ausbeute. Im Nachhinein hätte ich schon eine Woche früher ernten können: Die trichome sind schon an manchen Stellen sehr bernsteinfarben gewesen (siehe Bilder). Auch musste ich ein paar Stellen aufgrund von Schimmel wegschneiden (denke das lag daran, dass manche Triebe zu nah an der Zeltwand lagen und aufgrund des wechselhaften Klimas insgesamt). Insgesamt bin ich natürlich sehr zufrieden mit dem Grow, ich konnte einiges an Erfahrung sammeln und werde diese auch für weitere Grows nutzen. Zurzeit trocknen die beiden im Zelt mit aufgehängtem Trockennetz bei etwa 23 grad und zwischen 55-60 RH. Denke in einer Woche werden diese schon bereit für die Gläser sein, und dann kann man schon mal ein wenig naschen ;) Ich danke nochmals dem Sponsor Dutch Passion für die Gelegenheit, bei diesem Contest dabei gewesen zu sein. Ich bin mit dem Strain sehr zufrieden - es gab kaum Komplikationen, die Pflanzen waren relativ resistent und das Wachstum ziemlich schnell. Ein endgültiges Review werde ich erst nach dem Tasting machen können (um ehrlich zu sein hatte ich mir schon vor ner Woche mal einen Trieb abgeknapst und schon probiert, ist aber natürlich nicht ganz repräsentativ für den Grow - war aber mega :P). Weiter gehts für mich erst mal mit den zwei Stecklingen von den Pflanzen und der dritten Pflanze, die anfangs im Zelt war - diese ist draußen in die reveg gegangen und wird - nachdem die Pflanzen im Zelt trocken sind - zusammen mit den Stecklingen in die Blüte geschickt. Northern lights has been growing good. I did some lst and defoliation on her today. One of her branches started to split, so I bandaged it back, and went to the cheap lst clips. Hopefully that heals up nice and fast. Beside that she has been growing like a champion. Every is going good. In about 2 to 3 weeks she will go to her tent and flower. Here comes the first Preflower Update

Day 85: The plants 3&4 on the left side won't Bloom. Day 87: Plant 1&2 have already formed very beautiful flowers. The plants 3&4 are in the early stages of flowering. I don't know why they're later then her sisters. But they'are all still beautiful. The watering is every third day about 2 liters each plant. Once time this week with fertilizer. Day 91: By stretching the little plant has almost caught up with the others. Let's see how the four will develop over the next few weeks. Grow on!

Inicio de la sexta semana y así sigue el avance de la floración. Ésta plata ha crecido a un ritmo impresionante y apesar de ser más pequeña en un inicio que su compañera de tienda, ha superado su tamaño notoriamente. Todo sigue bien y sano como se esperaba. Buenos humos! 👽

✋Wk12:Trichome Hunting and Changes in diet. 👉The week has shown to be not just the usual fun of having cannabis in the flowerings stage, but also the frustration of having cannabis in the flowering stage. The fun is the funky stank that hits me in the face as I open the tent each time, then gazing at the magical flowers as they get plumper and fuzzier. The frustration comes from the seemingly slow motion pace the plants are taking as I dream of harvest day. 👉The 3 gallon plant has reduced its volume of liquid it consumes. However, I have only slightly reduced the total volume of solution given each time. I have kept the EC around 1.3. The run-off has climbed quickly between fertigations, and I have done a couple of H2Only irrigations. The runoff EC spiked on the last day of this week. I did another H2Only irrigation followed by regular nutrients. I have seen issues on the upper leaves that could be nutrient related, or maybe light stress, perhaps its moody and hates me for not spending more time with it. I have been keeping the lights at around 17” from the top of the main cola. The lights driver is turned fully on (light is rated at 150W). Its counter intuitive to me that the light would be causing light stress since its only 150w. I would think a much more intense light would cause that or one kept a lot closer. So I have pulled the light to its max height. I may dial back the driver a tad. The buds are getting very bulky and are very dense. I hope they stay that way and not foxtail like its tent mate is doing. 👉The one gallon plant is starting to fade. Its larger leaves are mostly yellow. I take the yellow leaves when they begin to dry up. Some just fall off when touched. I’ve done some extensive trichome hunting and have only spotted only scant few ambers. Most are still clear, but there are lots of cloudy ones too. Very hard to differentiate if they are in the direct light of one of the grow lights (or any led light). The led light makes them all look cloudy, but indirect light shows most are still clear. I will continue checking each day for the status of the trichomes. I will harvest when almost all are cloudy with only a few clears remain. I have kept its solution volume at 1.5l at the low range EC of nutrient solution. I have also given a couple of H2Only irrigations to lower the EC runoff. The buds are sort of fox tailing but look very much like the breeders picture on the product page. The cola are long and getting bulky, but probably not very dense. They are super frosty and the calix’s are getting very large, much like the gorilla glue I grew was. The aroma of the funky stank is strong enough to be smelled outside (I vent outside). The up close smell is different than the tent smell…still creamy sweet caramel…so weird to me…I can’t wait to try it…in like 8 more weeks…sigh. I will harvest the plant when it says its ready. Almost there.😷

Looking into Eco-oil and need oil treatments for thrips and aphids noticing more and more damage and starting to appear in colonies of about 10-20 under certain leaves Happy with overall flower development although wishing the Plant really expanded and stretched her arms a bit more

Wet weight=609g Dry weight=50g 📋 Smoke report I started trimming after she had been hanging for 14 days. Had time to trim 30g and did the remainder the night after. The buds went into groove bags on 6/5/25. The trim is frosty so I'll do a hash run, there was only 4g of larfy buds which will go into my hash run. 25/6/25 Had a sample, by far the strongest runtz i have grown. Highly impressed, 📋Grow stats for GDG 23 #1 Runtz=50g #2 Fat Bastard=86g Total=136g Lights on. 20hrs×7days=140hrs 18hrs×21days=378hrs 12hrs×77days=924hrs Total hours=1442hrs Light power=147.73Kw Rad power=105.69Kw Extractor=34.12Kw 4 gang=47.02Kw Top fan=17.72Kw Total electricity=352.28KW Electricity cost @£0.25/Kw=£88.07 Average light power a day=1.4Kw Average watt per hour=102w g/watt=(136÷102)=1.33g/w £/g=£0.64/g 📋Final word. I should have been more proactive then reactive with this plant, if I had raised her a lot sooner she would have produced a bit more and fought for more space. I'm happy with with my results from the grow. Runtz is always a good strain to have. I'm also loving the green sensation, and the Plagon tera nutes, last 2 grows have had lots of frost since switching to them. Unfortunately I didn't win the Eternity Cup or place in the top 10. I have looked through loads of the diaries that entered and damn there was some 🔥 diaries, what a great competition to have been apart off.
