Big big week. First part of the week popped off a few bud sites. Hate to see them go since this is going to be a low yielder anyway. But I have a vision for it. As you can see in the photos. She started flowering mid week which was expected due to the very high stress and her being an auto. Also ROOT REVEAL. Yep you get a sneak peek at to what is below. I'm also working the soil and the roots to help dry them out and hopefully be strong enough to hold her up. The roots for all the way down so we "should" be good to go. Fingers crossed 🤞 Still just feeding water since I added soil to the sided for her to feed on. I have been doing a foliar spray with calmag in it.

Update February 4, 2019 (Video and Pics actually taken Feb 1). I’m figuring I’m about mid-way into flower now with the 6 girls I have flowering. Overall, I’m very happy with how things are going. The buds are coming in strong on all plants, they are stinky and sticky and I’m not complaining about anything really. But, I still see more yellow than I like. Last week I fed Recharge, Mammoth P, MegaCrop, and CalMag+. I don’t feed all of those at once, Recharge & Mammoth P one time, MegaCrop & CalMag+ the next, then the 3rd is usually straight water. I also seem to be able to go at least a day between waterings/feedings. Anyway, yellowing leaves during flower seems to be most common with a Nitrogen deficiency as far as I can tell. I’m tempted to feed in a round or two of veg nutes to see how that goes. One more thing… I transplanted my clones and seedlings into larger nursery pots today. They were transplanted into pots with soil that has been composting/recharging for almost a month now based on some of the tips from the books I have been reading. I’m excited to see how they react to their new environment.

So fat banana finally got the chop. Started off well then had an influx of heat around mid flower, not a major problem as I dealt with it, just could have gone smoother. She flew through veg with no problems or complaints whatsoever. She was resilient and would grow her again. She smells so loud, covered in frost.. I have a few more pictures of the chop to upload but will do it in a little while. Such a unique scent from her, definitely tropical and banana peel type of aroma and taste(from test smoke). Been a pleasure to grow and can honestly say its some tasty smoke. Will do a proper smoke report after this batch has dried and then cured. Thanks for tuning in! Will be back -FlavoursUk

Since Lady Jealousy is still withering a bit, I keep the humidity just about at the reasonable limit of tolerability for both fully flowering Sweet Seeds ladies. I think temperature and humidity is a good but necessary compromise here. Different strains require different conditions. Especially when growth is so different. I also find the tribes of the three protagonists interesting... In my opinion, it tells us a lot about the selection of phenotypes in breeding. So my dears, the day takes its toll. Time to sleep. Die Pflanzen entwickeln sich sehr gut. Der Durst der Pflanzen variiert und wird täglich angepasst. Es wird immer früh morgens gegossen. bei der größten sehe ich abends bereits das die Erde trocken ist. ich hoffe die Blüten entwickeln sich so wie sich der ganze grow bis jetzt verlaufen ist. einfach überrascht was in der kurzen Zeit alles aus den Pflanzen kommt.

Bud sites are getting ready now. I did a bit more LST and removed a few side shoots which never gonna make it due to lack of light. I replaced the light, under the TS 1000 she was praying all day long. On the previous run I had problems with the FC3000, it was turning itself off at random times. Mars Hydro was kindly sent me a replacement controller, so far it seems like this problem has been solved. However, I tried to use the app again and it’s still shite. 💩😂 So I just use the light in manual mode. Such a shame for the extra features I cannot use. For DLI I will use the following chart: AUTO FLOWER LED LIGHT INTENSITY Recommended LED PPF/PAR Values / DLI Based on 20 hrs. of light. June 17: The garden area had just under 3 inches (75mm) of rain in the past week which was really needed. Temps have been mid teens to low 20s deg C. The wind has been relentless and the plants continue to take a beating. Overall pleased with the growth but some concern, because preflowers are showing, they may be stunted and flowering early (due to environmental stress).

Everything is looking good. I top dressed and got everything happy and healthy again. I switched to 12/12 last Wednesday. So we are coming up on 1 week since the flip. Soon we can start finding the males and females and then start inspecting them more closely to separate the best from the rest. Everything has been on pause up until this point.
