Weekly update for these girls. They got a defoliated and lollipopped this week. Also went full on into preflower showing pistols and flower sites everywhere. Over all they're growing like champs. Happy Growing.

Pleased with the progress! Had a few leaves curling up but seems to have been sorted with and extra fan and lifting the lights slightly. The pots seem very heavy and mosit so im not sure if im overwatering them

Day 99 09/10/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with Plagron PK13-14 today to give her the extra boost they need. I will continue flush at end of week and next week. Update on strains: DS- Auto Kabul is a robust, hardy little plant. Not many lateral sides bud it has bid sites climbing throughout main colar and it has a heavy top 🙌💚 Light green in colour and smelling like a zesty gas. DG/GF- Auto XXL Ammo - She is such a tall, stretchy plant, with alot of leaf to bud ratio! I won't do this one again as she requires alot of height space I don't have. She has a garlic, ammonia pungent smell to her. DG/GF- Auto lemon zkittles 🍋- This is A typical Christmas 🎄 tree shape plant, beautiful strong structure, resilient to pest. And has nice lateral sides with a bit of LST it would Unlock her true potential. She has a heavy main colar. Light green in colour dripping in trichomes, and smells like candy/ Z terps.

one plant is way smaller than the other, probably a bad seed, startet with some first time LST on the small one too se if it gives some result, looks like the smalles one is about to go into flower pretty soon, hope they flower in a bout the same time as i only have one tent and need to switch to flowering lights when they start flowering. looks like they are happy in there though, another week done! Utdatert: they both started flowering during week 5, switched to flower lights now and just waiting for the good stuff

21 days of flower.. getting some frosting on the upper fan leaves.. happy that the stretch was minimal and the canopy is pretty flat.. I think the super soil is a little hot but there’s a way to go yet 🤞😉👊

Ok so I've moved these babies into flower already noticed the flowers forming and starting to bud this strain is just full of surprises so keep posted to see how these progress through the next 7 weeks of flower let's see if we can out do the last harvest of Barnys farm lsd been a good strain to grow however this will be last crop has have alot more new genetics I wanna give ago

Buds are really fattening up. Now comes the difficult part, deciding when to start the flush and then when to harvest. With likely warming days, quite likely an early harvest is on the cards so I can avoid curing in a hot tin shed. Closely monitoring the extended forecast to hopefully harvest at the perfect time as all will be wasted if curing in a 30c tent. At the moment due to a changing forecast its possible I will only achieve a 5 day flush, and have 3 days to cure in mild temps. Unfortunately from then it looks.like things seriously heat up, if extended curing is required then likely I'll bring in side the house in mason jars during the heat of the day then cure further on the drying rack in my tin shed till during the cooler evenings until ready. No. I know this isn't ideal but I've done this previously and always ended up with good.buds just way more effort that's for sure. This being a secret grow has additional challenges that's for sure. My wife, and 2 teenage kids have no idea what goes on in this shed as to their knowledge only garden tools are stored here, if anyone in my house did gardening apart from me then this grow would be impossible that's for sure

📆 Week 4, 12-18 May 2024 12 May - Upgraded light to ViparSpectra XS1500Pro. 13-14 May - Observed the plant. 15 May - Plant shows first pistils. 16-18 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 It was time to upgrade my light and it was an easy choice to stay with ViparSpectra. In my opinion, for small tents and the home grower they are the brightest lights available on the market. The only problem with the *2024 new versions are the dimmer switches. They limit how you can adjust the power: 5, 25, 50, 75 and 100% are the only settings, nothing in between. If you are trying to “dial” in your DLI/PPFD it makes it impossible without adjusting light height, which is quite cumbersome comparatively. Your forced to work around an issue which should have never been one! The plant is showing its first pistils this week. This doesn’t mean its in flower. There is no bud formation yet, she is just letting you know she is female. It could be another 2-3 weeks or longer before buds start developing. Right now she is still in a veg state so no changes will be to a nutrient schedule that reflect a flowering stage. 🍶 12 May nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 12 May feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 1.7 at 70 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 50%, DLI 28 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. 19/07/20 (Sunday) 7AM - Set 4 seeds to germinate in cups of water (Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Jamaica, Columbia) 7PM - St. Vincent and the Grenadines seed shows taproot 9PM - Trinidad and Tobago seed shows taproot 10PM - Seed from Jamaica shows taproot 11PM - Set the 3 germinated seeds into individual half gallon pots filled with promix. 20/07/20 11AM - SVG seed rises to the soil level 8PM - Jamaican follows suit 11PM - TT also exposes itself 21/07/20 The weather and forecast for the week show scattered showers and the seedlings are showing early signs of stretching so I decide to build a makeshift grow tent to supplement their light cycle while bringing them outside for a minimum of 4 hours every day to acclimate them. I decided on a 75W output LED bulb with a temperature of 6500K and 1055 lumens while using my room fan to simulate wind for healthy stem growth. 22/07/20 The plants show slowed stretch symptoms but still not to the level I want, so I revamp the 'grow tent' with reflective material (crumpled aluminium foil for more reflective surfaces) and upgraded the bulb to a 100W output LED with the same temperature and a higher luminousity of 1350. One cotyledon on the SVG strain was broken but not completely sheared off, but I'll leave it to its own devices. 23/07/20 Columbian seed has yet to germinate so I added another from my backups. 24/07/20 Seedlings have shown normal rates of growth so I think the current grow tent is sufficient. When I took them outside they endured light gusts and rainfall for a half hour during their sun bask. I decided to add foil to the door of the tent to trap more light in. 25/07/20 Tropical Storm Gonzalo may make landfall today and the skies are set up for thunderstorms so I decided to keep the plants in their indoor setup for the full 18hrs of their light cycle. Since both Columbian seeds still show no signs of germination, I decide to go collect another strain. I got my hands on a 21 day old Dominican Republic strain that was grown in a seedling tray and left there; It was fed once with 20-20-20 and calmag. The cotyledons were white, the stem red between the top nodes and yellow the rest of the way down, the leaves a light green, and it was no taller than 2 inches excluding it's 1 inch sq root cube. I immediately transplanted it into my remaining half gallon pot upon returning home, dampened the soil with my spray bottle and left it to sit with the others and finish the light cycle.

Been a good week explosive growth first signs off early stages of flower few plants come out with spotting and few yellow leafs tent is starting to get cramped tried to spread um out as even as possible with the space we have , first dose of nutrients solo soil nutes we’ve gone with as recommended by the local grow shop

Will be back to update diary with dry weight amounts. Simply so I put only weight of buds and separately a dry trim weight. The smell is absolutely stinking and she looks stunning I cannot wait til she is dry enough to be cured in jars and smoked... I finally got to the end of my 1st photoperiod run. Yay lol man it's stressed me out at times wondering am I doing things right etc but thank grace we at the end of the tunnel . Peace and love growmies

Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺
