Average stem height of the big ones are 36 inches, but the mishap past week with the lights might have stressed em a bit and caused some stretching. There was also a humidity issue for a few hours, which could be the culprit for the stretching. Two stems are pushing 40 inches. However, there are no signs of light or heat stress, despite the stems getting within inches of the leds. We shall see... I’m also battling a cold Canadian winter where it hit -42 Celsius today. Plants are in a cold basement in an old house. Had to bring out an extra space heater. Can’t get the temp in my tent above 20. Tent is too packed to introduce a stand up heater. Maybe I’ll convince the plants that fall is coming and they need to bud like crazy.

Dia 77: las plantas se ven normales pero ahora si se nota muchísimo mas olor al abrir la carpa pero no se nota crecimiento en las flores la planta como que ha para do el crecimiento de las flores y los pistilos empiezan a tomar un color amarillo que aunque suene normal me preocupa ya que el tamaño de las flores es muy pequeña aun. Dia 80: aun las mayoría de las plantas no se ven con un crecimiento significativo de sus flores, solo una de ellas el desarrollo de las flores a ido en aumente tanto que una de las ramas se empiezan a doblar por el peso (Tropicanna poison).

Si bien la semana pasada puse que iba a hacer solo riego con agua como lavado de raices, note que no iba a ser suficiente, asi que hice un lavado de raices completo. Planta en la bañera y agua + agua +agua. Semana próxima cosecha! Excelentes resultados

3 of the 4 plants didn't do much stretching at all. I'm excited to compare the harvest between all of them too see which yields more. The one plant that did stretch seems like it will take a little bit longer than the others to be ready, but I am not sure. Had I known they wouldn't have stretched much I would have considered some light defoliation to increase light pen but this will be a nice experiment. As of 11/23 the plants have stopped doing any vertical growing and I can tell the buds are starting to fatten up a bit and getting frosty. I am leaving the tent open now 24/7 to help control the humidity, trade-off is I can smell the plants from my office two stories up. The sent is very fresh and fruity so it's not so bad. We will see how my family feels when they visit for Thanksgiving 😆

Northern Lights (fem) ✨✨✨✨ 105 days from seed to harvest. Flowering week 9. Before she goes into 24hrs of darkness. Magnificent plant, very relaxing body high with calm head buzz. Love this strain, she is a special girl.

Flowering is on, two plants showed pistils a few days ago while third one showed today. I upped bloom nute dose to half strength preflowering. At the very end of day 27 rn. Got hold of some string and started LST around week 3, gently bending every few days and as it grows bigger, not touching any budsites. Tallest one is almost a foot high, curious as to how much they will stretch, they're supposed to reach a minimum of 3 feet so, yeah I guess we'll see :) Faint but distinct super sweet dreamy smell from the first one that started flowering

( DAY 48 AND IT SHOWS ZERO DEFICIENCIES ) IM ALSO DOING VERY LITTLE, SLIGHT DEFOLIATION ( DAY 48 AND YET ZERO RESIN PRODUCTION ) I am a little concerned due to the amount of bud developing but time will tell ??..... Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%.
