🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

Preparation is key so I’m getting ready to start laying down my trellis net to SCROG from here out. In preparation for a flip 12-12. Still feeding full flower nutes at around 850ppm. Everything is looking great and the SMELL!!! 😍 2 plants are further along than the other 3, but I think I can still carry them along until I can harvest all 5 at the same time. I will watch trichomes closely. Plants are heavy feeding monsters! Requiring alot of water! They are eating it up!! Dialed the ballast up from 750 watts, to 1000 watts for finish! Looking forward to this harvest, as the buds seem super dense, and the terpene profile is amazing! Very sweet, almost resembling the smell of a box of fruity pebbles! Welcome I was wrong to defoliate in the fifth week, the same week I sent them to bloom Finally begin to bloom, after a week at 12/12 where unfortunately they have vegetated again 😅

Day 23 of Veg: after watching the video I fully soaked my fabric pot for the first time too little to no run off. Since I am running organic I want to make sure not to lose those precious nutes. I had to place a space heater because the cold kinda snuck up on myself. With adjustment to the lights output the tent was at a cooler temp. So I had to substitute with a oscillation heater. So right now 59% humidity and 78 degree temp is set in the tent with 300ppfd. 2 oscillating fans and a 6 in exhaust fan. The LST on the 2 plants recovered great so far and adjusting the temp and light has shown a more deeper green the base of the main trunk is pretty solid. Thicker than my first grow for sure. I feel I was able to get the LST on the main trunk almost to a 90 to get that even canopy. Day-24 New A/C infinity controller and fan installed, removed some components in the tent to clean it up. Wiped down the floor. The sock had so much dust in the filter from not having an air filter on the inlet. It’s crazy how much dust can be in a tent. The controller is set and seems so seem less. Tested ppfd again sitting right 310. Day 25 New A/C infinity setup is working like a champ. So impressed. No watering today the medium is still moist to the touch. The LST has really stretched the bud sites out. My only other grow being Girl Scout cookies and Northern Lights the plants were a lot taller or maybe I just LST them later in their grow cycle. Also could’ve been the strain. Feeling good about this grow. Hopefully the timed amendments get me to the end. I am 90% positive I am suppose to feed and top dress 30 days into flower. Day 26LST again today. I feel like this strain is short and bush and I am LSTing them too much. The plants are green and I hooked them up with 6.4ph water.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Day 63 : These girls are continuing their quest for glory and still popping pistils. #1 In her organic soil looks the most potent up close and her main stem is so fat now. I tried to reposition it a little and lost the battle as it could arm wrestle a Gorilla !!. I amended her pot today with some charge(200ml/10L) in her water along with the other LOS girls and a top dress with "life cycle" (30ml) . I think another week at least for her so she could use the boosts. #2 Is also looking potent and smells amazing like her sister up close. she is a very thirsty girl and uses all her nutes within a day to a lighter pot slightly every feed. She has been fed with just the shogun sumo boost (20ml) , dragon force (40ml) to 10L water to compare with her MC fed sister. her height is held down with lst but if I grew this strain again , I would not train it flat but manage it as natural as possible. #3 is the reason I say this. As she had looked a little different in size and colour , I allowed her to grow untrained. She is still completely different to the others but from talking to a member here , there are about 9 different ones. wow. She smells identical but her buds look so different to her sisters from different Misters. She is being fed with Mc (10g) , sumo boost (10ml), pk warrior (6ml) , calmag(10ml) and silica (10ml) to 10L water. She is loving life and packing her weight on now. i think she may finish a bit after her step-sisters but I expect a few more weeks possibly. Keep it green Growmies

Esta noche se ven creciendo con gran vigorosidad estas cepas Chilenas Pure Inferno y Bloodnana, actualmente estas mitad de la semana 6, desde sus 2 hojas reales. las nenas se alimentas bien y se ven felices actualmente se da alimenta con fertilizante Advance nutrients. comenzando la floracion estan bastante grandes. en riego, se da una ves por semana advance nutriens y 2 solo agua sola. PH:6.3 EC:1200
