They needed a big watering so did that before light off and this morning they look beautiful again 😍💚 Update: Day 9 of flower I've stripped loads off and took a lot of lowers off and I'm hoping for some nice juicey buds now

Did a defoliation taking off almost all the fan leafs and let them swell up and rippen before giving them the chop this week. Seeing 70/30 clear to amber trichs. They smell super super pungent and sticky as all get out. Excited to get the trimmed,hung to dry and start this curing process. All in all Happy Growing

Gave them their 3rd and final heavy defoliation this week. Had lots of useless side branching that will just shadow out the good stuff and cause them to not ripen properly, a lot of this growth was due to the unintended extra 10 days they had in VEG before I noticed the timer wasn't doing what I asked it to do, just one of those things. Always a surprise in the grow room no matter how much you try to prepare and problem solve. I also had an air line manifold blow out this week which was very strange to see. Caught it early so girls didn't go without air for to long and I have 2 air pumps running so 1 going down is only a minor issue but still a great example of the random mishaps that occur when growing. If its one thing that experience has taught me its that less is more when it comes to how many colas you try to fit into a space. Do to many and you'll just end up with a load of mids, battling humidity problems and stress of keeping tons of half ripe colas falling all over onto each other come week 6 or 7. Everything is going great so far, no issues, although I have noticed some of the white hairs on the budlets have slight ginger tops (only a very small few) I have read in the past that this can be a sign of stress and potentially they might flip the hermie but I've done nothing to stress them so I am hoping this is just a abnormality from growing under LED. Boosted the nutrients up to 1000PPM now to let them feed heavy and pump those buds up. So everything took off in flower, I was super harsh with the defoliating which initially I regretted, but was surprised with how they packed out during the following weeks. In general it's impressive how hardy these plants are. Even the outdoor grows yielded some quality. Add some more nuets (overdrive and carbo load), before flushing about 14 days before harvest, next time I'll do this earlier and really the Runtz could have gone another week but my drying needs to happen in the same space as my growing for now. Apologies for the quality of image, I'm just using my phone and some bits I have to document, I collect records too, so expect weird noises lol. Build a rotating plat from a lazt susan I found, has been the best piece of kit added this season.

Blue Shark is looking fab! Still a darker green than everyone else. There are 2 videos this week, one where I explain how my plan for a tomato roof using materials I already had didn't work out, and the 2nd being about the rogue who grew in my pea bed (whom I affectionately call "Rogue One") who has been raised almost exclusively on my homemade compost. I had people who were concerned last year when I made my own compost tea from the compost in my pile. People were concerned about bacteria, nutrient profile, etc. I feel like a lot of people get really regimented in their feeding, and they sort of forget that these are plants and they can adapt. They take what they need if it's available. I moved away from using mineral salts this year because you have to be careful with so many of these fertilizers so that you don't burn the plant, you have to flush it so you don't get a harsh smoke, mineral salts causing lockout, etc. If you stick with products that are natural you don't really have to worry about nute burn. You don't have to flush for an extended period of time before harvest. You don't have salts building up in the soil that are detrimental that you have to periodically flush and then add beneficial microbes back in. There is another way.

9/14 Week 9 and she is doing fine Little vid she is front left Nuets not changing for now 9/16 Doing well but some white tips are saying we gotta reduce the salts so will be dropping CT nuets 10% and upping PK to 2.5 Extra space is really doing them well Defoliation again tonight the war on stemmed leaves has begun 9/17 Held a meeting of the minds and decided the best course of action is to flip the light schedule so I can feed them more appropriately, twice a day. Leaving nuets as they are as this will drop pot EC. Setting the alarm for the AM before lights out at 7:30 and changing the sched to 6AM-6PM summer is done no need for current schedule. 18 plants, 5 strains. Each plant has 3 main buds. By means of LST I tried to make them all the same height. Because the plants have now stopped growing, leading is no longer necessary. The plants are still attached to the plant sticks with tie strips to support the buds when they get heavy later on. Lots and large leaves, and therefore a weekly large defoliation every week. The trichomes begin to appear. I have 4 Marilla Fruit plants and they are all very different. The scent of each plant is very strong and very special. MF # 2 - 79cm - has a very compact Indica growth pattern with wide and large leaves. I had to defoliate a lot. Trichomes production is well underway. MF # 3 - 99cm - is more of the sativa type. Very slender leaves with purple stem. Trichomes production is also well underway at this plant. MF # 4 - 81cm - Indica plant with thick clusters of leaves that are packed very close together. Lots of defoliation work. MF # 6 - 96cm - rather sativa type. Open structure, relatively few large leaves, many side branches, buds spread over the entire plant. Less positive are the many small leaves between the flowers.

Shes filling out my Grow Cabinet. with a size of 70x50cm in week 7 shes definitely the biggest autoflower ive grown so far. cant wait to see them buds appear. 😁 reduced daytime by 1 hour. leafs started drooping about 2 hours before the lights went out. also raised the lamp a lil bit. running the p600 at 75%. DLI 30 to 42. PPFD ~600 (center) Filled up the Solution with 5l EC 1.3. mixed with the solution that was left in the tank i end up at EC 1.0. no claws or burned tips. no leafs been yellowing so far. so i think it should be fine for now. see ya next week. ✌️🌱

Cultera - Vermiculite 25g After removing the 10L bag, I use my spray bottle to moisten the sides of the coir slightly. I then sprinkle Mycorrhiza to assist in a speedily transplant recovery. I also sprinkled some at the bottom of the 22L bag as well Transplanting Done! 🤙t2: Note: The same method, amendments, quantity used to transplant (Jet Fuel) too. About 2 weeks after this one.
