For the Grow section on my page: Throughout the germination stage, I explored three distinct seed germination techniques: the direct soil implantation, immersion in a hydroponic medium, and the classic paper towel method. My tests involved the Gods Gift autoflower from Premium Cultivators, Northern Lights from Royal Queen Seed Bank, and the F1 Epsilon strain, also from Royal. My primary focus, however, has been on the F1 Epsilon strain. As part of my shift towards commercial operations, I'm currently pushing the potential of these seeds to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity. I'm in the midst of identifying the optimal strains for my commercial venture. My objective, quite simply, is to strike an optimal balance between quality and yield for my future cannabis crops. With astute business planning and leveraging emerging laws, I plan to provide these products at a significantly lower price than my competitors. End of Germination Stage - Staring Vegetation Stage Day 9 - I inadvertently oversaturated my plants with nutrients, which led to the immediate demise of two plants. A key lesson learned was that utilizing old woolite medium is not advisable. Instead, using dirt plugs proves to be a more effective method. Moreover, it's crucial to ensure that nutrients are introduced directly into the water supply to avoid any potential harm to the plants. Additional Note: For enhanced root stability and quicker access to the water supply, it's important to situate the dirt plugs deeply within the pebbles. Also ensure germination process as follows: 12 hour soak, drop into soil plug deep into hydroponics pebble medium.

Day 43. Change the dose of nutes to medium flowering, I consider that the stretch period is no longer so remarkable. I also add 10 ml of Plagron's Green Sensation. I raise the ppm to 700, I think I will keep this level until the flush. pH at 5.9 She is full of trichomes, is very sticky and every day increases her smell. Not much to say about this week. I realized that using Green Sensation and increasing the water level of the reservoir maintains a more stable pH, I only dedicate myself to pouring 0.75 liters with water pH 7 each time it drops from 5.8 You can see that the buds start to get fatter little by little ... I hope that it forms some tight ones 😁

Dealing with very strong winds this week. Also morning temperatures are below 15°C causing quite a bit of morning dew. Clear tarps are a big help as long as the strong wind doesn’t blow it away ha ha

Ok guys so for this grow I'm using 7 dwcr 20l pots with a 20l reservoir water temp is 20c air temp is 24.5c humidity is 64% I'm using canna coco a&b nutrients 200ppm led lights 2x1000w. Now for the plants I'm using cuttings from two plants I've got the sunset sherbet and the gelato 41 as you can see in my pictures I've also tried a coco mix 70/30 for 2 of my plants (one of each) just as an experiment as I've not grown in coco before let's see what we get Day 2 All clones are now starting to have a nice light green colour to the fan leaves and are now standing correctly. I've added one scoop of great white root enhancer to my nutrients to give the roots a better ability to take in the stuff it needs. All in all not looking bad but still early days Day 3 Now the clones are starting to thrive in their environment I've added some mycorrhizac for root growth,liquid silicone for added growth to overall plant,cal mag strengthens stems,and some fulvic acid to give them that extra boost. All clones are looking well however I can notice a big difference between the ones in the dwc and the ones in coco. I'm watering the coco whenever it feels dry roughly about 2l a day with run off. Still early days but I'm impressed at how well the clones are bouncing back after being shipped overnight Day 4 New pictures uploaded. Just general garden management at the moment Day 7 Changed the water in my reservoir cleaned the filter and outlet pipe. Added nutrients to same scale as previously used and ph is now 6.5 backed the lights off and turned on both veg and bloom functions. While changing the water I noticed a few roots starting to show out of the net pots will upload some pictures soon didn't have my camera on me at the time. Coco experiment is going well been feeding g once a day roughly 2 l with run off. They are noticeably smaller than the ones in the DWC but are still growing nice

From day 28 to 35 it slowed down a lot on gaining height, going from 24in to 26. It went from a little bit of signs of flowering to boom out of no where a lot more. I started bloom boost for the first time on morning of day 34, day 35 today I realized the bottle I bought says Orchid bloom boost 😂 🤦‍♀️🏼 🤷‍♀️🏼 I have to look for something else probably 😂 It’s fun to watch it change. I sprayed for the fungus knats twice now, just the soil. I recently noticed a lot of shadows as well, so we bought a bigger light and changed our system around a little. I figure if it’s flowering then more light can’t hurt? This is my first grow, although I am familiar with regular plants this Auto flower is all new to me! Any tips and suggestions are welcome! I did not top it or LST it, it seems to be doing so good I wish I would have 🤷‍♀️🏼 Not sure if I should tie it off now? The top is getting heavy anyway and if I could lean it a little the light would get in there more? The smell is amazing! Back on track today is Day 35. In the past I have fed lightly I dont like burnt tips but with the variety of strains in this grow with the co2 I bumped it up a little. Some strains like the Polar Vortex 6 are much more sensitive than some others so it was unavoidable. Other than the tips they are all doing pretty well. The Cherry kush mints in the 4x8 in my eyes is clearly a beast it had the shortest veg time and caught up to most of the big girls. Also its development has been impressive with a unique terp profile at this stage. The sleeper is the garlicane 5. I've grown most of these once or twice before but with the upgrades and the co2 that one has developed nicely and looks like it will put on some serious weight. Nothing much to report. Slowly getting each cola anchored to the bamboo post. Previously used plant yo-yos but they get to be a pain, especially at harvest. With the stretch over, I’m just waiting on her to fatten up. Slowly lowering humidity to increase vpd. Mentioned last update that she stinks. Is there a bowl of fruit punch in the tent or is that a plant? Clawing issues have disappeared. Feeding lightly, now with tiger bloom in the mix. Video/photos taken 77 days after breaking soil, day 28 of flower.

2/9 - 4 gal RO 2/10 - 5 gal RO 2/11 - Feeding nutrients plus cal/mag, 5 gal 2/12 - Feeding nutrients, 5 gal 2/13 - FINALLY FIGURED OUT MY ISSUE! The ph within the soil was too low. RO only at 6.5ph 2/14 - RO only 6.8ph 2/15 - Feeding nutrients, 4 gal at 6.7ph Monday 2/15 was one of the coldest days we've had, our winter storm took our power that evening. I was ok with going without lights, the plants would have made it through a day or two. However I was not prepared for below freezing temperatures. Overnight my plants froze to death. I went without power for another 36 hours at below freezing temperatures. There was no way I could save them now.

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day.
